Dimensional Rift

"You do?" Miao looked at him with surprise in his eyes.

"Yeah! I have a way to get those eyes. But, don't worry, I will give you some energy crystals. I don't have many so I can't give you a lot. But, it should be enough for a while." Tyler said as he took out nearly twenty energy crystals and passed them to him.

"This is a surprise." Miao looked at the crystals and then looked at him.

"You are not stingy."

"Puff!" For some reason, Rose couldn't hold back her laughter. She chuckled and patted Miao's head.

"Why didn't you tell me that you could talk?"

"It was his fault." Miao pointed his claw at Tyler.

"It's okay then." Rose sighed. She knew her son wouldn't tell her something that would make her worried and doubtful.

On the other hand, Miao was dumbfounded. He sighed and took those crystals. He looked at Tyler and looking at his right empty shoulder, he said "There is a way to recover your arm."

When he said that, Rose and Tyler intensely stared at him.

Miao licked his foot and said "As I said before, I have a treasure hunting ability. I can sense treasures around us. But for this, I don't even need to sense the treasure."

"You have a strong branch. I don't know what exactly it is, but it has extremely powerful vitality. With that, you could possibly make yourself an arm but that branch would be extremely hard."

"So, you need to find something first. A fire, specifically Sacred Flame. There are three levels of scared flames. Continent Burning Flames, Planet Burning Flames, Star Burning Flames."

"As their name suggests, as long as you put enough spiritual energy into them, they can do whatever their name is. But for this, you could use any one of these levels."

"I know the location of a Continent Burning Flames. I know the location of Star Burning Flames as well but you obviously can't go there and pick it up. While Continent Burning Flames should be the place where you can enter."

"Before I tell you the exact location, I want to ask you something. How much do you know about Dimensional Rifts?"

Tyler thought for a moment and answered "Dimensional Rifts are basically the space between two different dimensions. One dimension is ours and the other belongs to the creature living inside that dimension rifts. It was said that those creatures were abandoned there."

"And, they want to enter this world to conquer it. So, humans, demons, or monsters often enter the dimensional rift to fight outlanders. Those creatures must be dealt with by every race present in our dimension."

Hearing his words, Miao nodded "Exactly but the scope is too big. You have no idea bout the scope of Dimensional Rifts. Even as a god, I was forced to fight inside the Dimensional Rifts. So, you can say that you will be entering Dimensional Rifts no matter how much stronger you get."

"Currently, your planet is very low on PPR 'Planetary Power Ranking'. It is a special kind of ranking that measures the overall strength of a planet and ranks them. There are nine ranks, starting from nine to one. Nine is the lowest and one is obviously the highest."

"Since your planet has just started, your checkpoint should be Elithrin. Elithrin has been the first checkpoint for almost every planet. At this checkpoint, you won't find anyone stronger than Golden Core Realm."

"I don't remember the complete map of this world. But, I do remember a special place called 'Ember Hall'. Inside this place, you will find a trial. The trial was divided into five levels."

"Once you reach the fourth level, you will be able to choose one reward from multiple options, and among them, there was five Continent Burning Flames. You can choose any one of them or especially the one which still remains."

"And, in this trial, it would be more about your strength than realms. It means your opponent would only get stronger without increasing realms. And if you die there, you die for real. So, unless you finish each level in less than five minutes, don't challenge the next level."

"You have to carefully remember this, okay? Unless you finish the previous level within five minutes, don't try to challenge the next one. You told me that you wanted to join Blacksmith Clan, right?"

"But, I suggest you join Holy Sanctum. Because it is the only place which you can leave whenever you want as long as you pay some remuneration. You already have the invitation. Just go and join it."

"After that, enter the rift, search for Ember Hall, get that flame. Your strength has improved massively though it might have decreased a bit due to that arm, you should still be able to complete the fourth trial."

Hearing his words, Tyler nodded his head and looked outside. It was still afternoon. He then looked at Miao and said "Stick with her, alright? If something happens to her this time, I will blame you."

"Don't worry, Tyler. I will take care of myself." Rose intercepted Miao before he could say anything.

Tyler sighed and nodded. He walked up to a wardrobe and picked up a robe. He put it on and covered his entire body. After that, he gave them one more glance before leaving the house.

After he left, Miao looked at Rose and said "You know, you are his weakness, right?"

Rose clenched her fist with frustration.

"No, no, I didn't mean it that way." Seeing her frustration, Miao understood that she misunderstood his words and tried to explain.

"What I mean was that you are the only one who could make him feel weak. When he said he will slaughter this city, I knew he wasn't kidding. I feel that anger and bloodthirst in him. But, you were able to change his mindset instantly."

"Now that I know what his goal is, you must live. No matter what, you can't die. Because if you die…

He will slaughter the entire world."
