The Bad Guys

"So your partnering up with a galaxywide criminal" Justice said.

"Yes" The man with glasses said "I think my chances of survival will be much higher if I do."

"How can you say that!" The woman with piercing's said. "Willey is the most dangerous man here!" She declared.

"See that's what I thought too, but I was wrong" The man with glasses said. "The most dangerous person here is that eighteen year old boy! Am I the only one who thinks its strange he can hold this man at gunpoint without batting an eye! How can a kid like that be so heartless and cold! Any normal boy would be frightened and not even know how to hold a gun!"

The woman with piercing's felt a tinge of fear fall over her. For a moment, she began to doubt Justice.

"Well I'll be damned" Willey said laughing. "Four eyes over there has a point!"

Justice dropped his gun, and began to shudder as memories flooded into his mind.

"Son, we are on the run again" A man with white hair said. His face was blurred through Justice's memory. He was sitting next to his father inside of a vehicle on the side of the rode.

"Look pal" An international police officer said. "If your not going to show me a liscence and registration, I'm going to be forced to-"

POW!

Justice's father took a shot at the police officer instantly dropping him.

VROOOM!

Justice's father sped off spinning his car to the police officers window, to shoot at his partner.

POW!

"Daddy.." Justice cried "Why why did they have to die?"

"Son... I'm wanted on all 115 planets, across the solar systems... if they find out who I am, I'll be killed, you and me both... I can't let that happen"

"So your just going to kill people? How is that right!" Justice cried.

"Son, when it comes down to it, when you have a gun, you have to ask yourself one question."

"Do you want to be the man behind the gun? Or the man in front?"

"I.. I don't know" Justice answered.

"Well, once you decide, you have to realize, that ether way, someone is going to pull the trigger, as long as the person you shoot has a gun, you can never treat them, like a normal person, they are players in a game, a game that has one rule, kill or be killed."

(Back to present)

"Justice!" The woman with blue hair said. "Explain yourself!"

Justice grabbed his head, slowly coming back to reality. He winced in pain as he raised his head towards the woman.

"No need" The man with glasses said. "I'll explain it for you!"

"The reason he can shoot people so easily... the reason he is so cold is in his name! Justice! He believes that he is on the right side of the gun! He believes he is morally right! He's more dangerous than Willey who kills for blood or gold! He kills for his own sense of Justice!"

"That's not true!" Justice yelled. "I..."

"My name is Hao Chang Phd, does that name ring a bell to you Justice?"

"Hao Chang... your the man... no.."

"That's right!" Hao said. "I'm the one who created the Chromatron Virus! Willey here has killed a few dozen maybe hundred, but because of me thousands died and millions were hospitalized! What happens when a vigilante like you hears of our crimes! Will you turn your gun on us in the name of Justice? Will you kill us without batting an eye!"

"No... there's no way... I wouldn't"

"Take a look at the people around you? Do you truly believe any of us are good people! Your the shining knight of Justice on a planet full of criminals!"

Silence came over the battlefield as Hao spoke. Justice, still haunted by his memories, lay frozen in the middle, unsure of what to do.

"Your right" The woman said. "My name is Corey, I'm here for reasons I can't discuss, but I'm no better than Hao"

Once again, Justice lost control, he didn't know who his enemy was anymore.

"How am I supposed to shoot..." He thought. "When I don't know who my enemy is... am I... am I the bad guy here?"

"Corey? What kind of name is that for a woman?" Willey croaked.

"I was born a man jackass" Corey said.

"WHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHAAATTTTTTTTT!!!!!!" Willey yelled almost fainting

"You'd be surprised what modern science can do, voice changes, implants, even I a distinguished researcher couldn't tell" Hao laughed

"Wait! But I was looking at his… I mean her woman parts… were they actually his man parts? Does that make me…"

"A pervert! Yep, in every sense of the word." The blue haired girl giggling behind them.

"My name is Sapphire and just like you guys... I'm a criminal too, I'm here cuz of my crazy ex boyfriend, this is the only place I could hide away from him." She gigled.

"Something tells me that was a gross undercut of the truth... Hao said.

"Haha you guys aint so bad" The man with no teeth laughed. "I'm in here for illegal drug use... don't do drugs guys it will rot out your teeth!"

"Ohhh What drug? Was it Phentanol? Euphoria? Ohhh what about MI! I haven't had a good MI in years!"

Justice silently wooed in the back as he saw the crowd of criminals getting along.

"Everyone here..." He thought. "Their so corrupt... none of them deserve to-"

As he thought another memory came into his mind.

"Justice..." A voice called in his mind. "A world about justice and retribution brings about only war... to truly move forward, we must learn to forgive others."

"Forgive...?" Justice thought.

"OK" Hao said. "Everyone should make their way to the white building now, everyone except Justice" He said.

"You enter last," Hao said.

"Sorry honey" Sapphire said walking off.

"Justice.." Corey said passing him.

"Hehe Until next time partner" Willey said.

"Stay away from drugs kid!" Dudley laughed.

Justice and Hao were alone watching each other on the aircraft.

Hao took his hand out of the generator and raised his pistol.

"This isn't one of those moments where you have to guess my motives" Hao said. "I'm the bad guy, we're all the bad guys and I won't let you turn these people into redeemed born again Christians who follow your every word."

"Why tell me this? Why is this so personal for you?" Justice said.

"Because" Hao said. "I don't believe in you" He said touching his glasses. "No it's deeper than that... I don't believe in justice! It is a made up word, that people with guns use to justify their murders... it's something a normal person like myself will never get."

Without saying another word, Hao walked off the platform.

"I.." Justice thought. "I was foolish, how could I expect criminals to believe in Justice?"

After Hao disappeared Justice walked into the buildin gof white. Inside he found a console that asked for his information.

[ Input player name to begin tutorial] The console said.

"Tutorial..." Justice said, "What is this about?"

"Welcome players" A voice said over the intercom. "Thank you in participating in the first game, seven of you were killed, so the remaining seven will be compensated for surviving with an reward of one million dollars each"

Justice looked at a number that popped up on his heads up display.

[Debt to Bounty ratio 1,000,000,000/999,000,000]

"Good job in making it this far, how exactly the game works will be explained after you clear the next stage, good luck and have fun and remember..."

"Everyone has a gun"

Justice looked a this computer console again as it updated. A new block of information appeared on his screen
