Liar!
Gigi didn't hear from Liz for almost a week and it was driving her crazy. She tried to keep her thoughts away from her ex, but it felt impossible. Even though work and the upcoming semester were keeping her busy, it wasn't enough, nothing was enough when Liz was involved.
She tried calling her the first two days but then she felt like she was bothering Liz so she stopped. She was always repeating to herself that the situation was her karma. She felt like that was how Liz must have felt when she left Illinois three years ago.
Days were passing slow, she had fun with the kids and was content with her work for college but was always filling a void in her chest as if she was longing for something, or maybe someone.
