Chapter 4 : "RIVERDALE HIGH"
"TJ wake up you're going to be late for school sweetie!!!", Mom shouted.
TJ's POV:
Yeah I forgot our Christmas Vacation is finally over yet I feel so lazy to go to school right now, my Christmas days we're just simple we just had a party and on New Year our relatives visited us and at the same time we fired up some fireworks, same old same old therecs nothing new about it.
I didn't introduce myself properly didn't I? Well I'm Tifanny Jane Cruz but I prefer calling me TJ for short, the Tiffany was off limits seriously, I'm in 4th year High School I enrolled at Riverdale High since that school has the best quality of teaching I'm 15 years old but I'm part of our school's Student Body Officers, I'm also into sports specially Volleyball and I can say that I'm known in our school for being competitive and rude for some reason maybe that's all for now.
"Yes mom I'm coming", I shouted and I immediately went to the bathroom to take a shower.
downstairs while TJ's getting ready.
"So Paul any plans for your birthday?"
"I think I'll just cash out my birthday mom"
"Why honey? You know that we can afford your birthday plans not like the other years that were really busy"
"Yeah I know that's why I didn't plan any birthday parties this year"
"Hey stop being so dramatic let's just eat", I said as I went downstairs while Mommy's preparing breakfast.
"Let's talk about that next time honey, both of you hurry you'll be late", Mom said.
My brother Paul and I had breakfast quickly, after some few minutes we're ready to leave.
"Mom we're going", I said as I walked in front of the door.
"I'll take you to your school", Mom said while looking for her car keys.
"No need mom we'll let Sir Rene drive us we know your busy", Paul replied, wow my brother's being matured for once.
We immediately went inside the car and Sir Rene 'our driver' started driving, while Sir Rene was driving I remembered earlier while I was going downstairs, I heard mom and Paul's conversation.
"So what's your plan for your birthday?", I asked while Paul was busy focusing on his cellphone.
"I thought you've heard me and mom talking earlier", he said lazily, what if I hit him maybe he won't be lazy to answer me, what do you think?
"C'mon I've only heard the last part of it but not the full details dummy, you think I'll ask if I know", I said.
"Okay", he sparingly answered, I'm really going to hit him I swear, okay TJ calm down he's still your brother even if he's a demon.
"So what?", I asked him angrily while he was still focused on his cellphone.
"I'll cash out my birthday party this year", he replied.
"Hey can you change your mind?"
"Why do you have any suggestions?", he asked.
"Wait I'll try to think", I said while pointing out my finger on my head.
"Well?", he said while pulling my arm.
"How about a pool party?", I suggested.
"Damn I don't want to"
"Hey don't torture yourself anymore, infact it's been ages since you had your birthday party and come to think of it, it's totally the best time for mom and dad to attend this year right?", I said while he was listening, I guess I've got he's attention.
"Well you have a point but I'll come to think of it too", Paul said and immediately focused on his cellphone again.
"Hey I put my whole mind on that plan so just ~~", even before I can finish what I was about to say, he suddenly got out of the car without me knowing that we've arrived.
"Stop talking just get out we're going to be late", he said.
"Okay fine just consider my plan just this once", I said as we walked to our class.
We're not actually classmate because I'm older than Paul so he's in his 3rd year.
"I've already told you that I'll think of it first", Paul said and he left.
I entered my room, as soon as I entered I saw Kristine my elementary best friend. We've been friends since Elementary days and we're like sisters then and now.
"Hey TJ over here", she waved while seeing me entered.
"Oh hi", I sparingly answered while sitting on my usual spot, so now I've got infected of Paul's laziness.
"How's your Vacation?", she asked.
"Well same old same old, we just ate and bonded, how about you?", I said.
"It was absolutely great because we're all complete not like the past years", she said with excitement.
"Aside from our vacation, is there any news?", I asked.
"News?", she thought for a moment ,"Ohh yeah!" .
"So?", I sparingly said.
"We're having a new transfer student this month", she said.
"So what's new about that?", I said while getting my stuffs ,"We're always having some transferee's every month duh", and I smirked, Kristene's use to it when I'm not in a good mood.
"Hey let me finish first", she said and I lowered my face to the table in front of me.
"Okay let's hear it".
"He's handsome, tall, smart, and also sporty come to think of it he's kinda like you", she said.
"Like me?! Are you crazy or something?", I yelled while giving her a deadly glare.
"He's absolutely like you TJ and some says that he's also rude like you", she said while giggling.
"Are you trying to piss me off? 'cause if you are, your absolutely doing it", I said while rolling my eyes at her.
"I'm sorry okay", she said while laughing.
"Hey wait how do you know all of this information about that transfer boy?", I asked.
"Mr.Williams asked me a favor if I can handle his transfer here since he said he will be transferred here to our room Mr. Williams did not let you take this responsibility because he knows you're busy with all the School responsibilities as the School Body Vice President "
"Wait what! He's going to stay in our class? In so many rooms, why here? Are you sure about that? Are you sure right here? As in right here", she laughed while hearing my questions and I just found out that I was a bit too carried away ghad!
"Why asking so many questions girl don't tell me you like him already?", she said, wtf Kristine my hands are itching and wants to choke it around your neck.
"What the hell KRISTI ~~~", I didn't continue what I was about to say when suddenly someone called my name and another classmates of mine appeared at our door.
"TJ Mr.William wants to talk to you", he said and I immediately went to Mr.Williams' office.
"Sir", I knocked ,"You wanted to see me?", I said as I approached Sir William.
"Yes Ms.Cruz I wanted to ask for a favor"
"Sure Sir what is it?"
"Well by any chance do you know about the new transferee this month?"
"Yes sir I've heard it from Kristine", actually I've heard it from the whole class and the other rooms.
"So I guess she also told you about the files I let her hold onto", I nodded ,"I wanted you too help her handling the forms and I'll tell the rest to Kristine tomorrow".
"Okay sir"
After the favor Mr.William asked me I directly went to my room and Mrs.Smith started the lesson and the other subject teachers continue entering our front door every hour, after some few hours the whole class was dismissed and we're all ready to go home, Kristine and I drop by Paul's room and waited for him before going home.
"Hey TJ what is Paul's plan for his birthday? His birthday is coming", she said while we waited for Paul.
"Thank ghad you remembered", I said while licking my Ice Cream.
"Of course I remember, Paul and I are also close you know", she said as she consumed her ice cream.
"Ohh yeah I forgot by brother and best friend are both close"
"So? Is there any?", she asked while I'm finishing my Ice Cream.
"He doesn't have one but I've suggested for a pool party", I replied.
"So did he agree with you?"
"Not yet but go ask him instead", I said as I looked behind Kristine as Paul approached.
"Hey Paul!", she shouted and Paul immediately approached us , "Did you consider your sister's plan?", she asked.
"So Paul how's the thinking going?", I said while crossing my arms.
"You know what sis you have a point after some thinking I think I'll consider it", he said.
"Well I guess it's a pool party?", Kristine asked with excitement.
"A pool party indeed", Paul replied.
"But first let's tell mom about this and go home", I said.
After a few minutes we've arrived in our house and we told Mommy our plan for Paul's birthday party and mom was happy and excited while hearing out our plan. Mommy immediately agreed to the plan and we entered each of our rooms and rested.
