Ren just ignored them and went inside only to see a Grey-haired kid being chased by anti-birds
'So that is Asta and Yuno Check,' thought Ren while he walked up to Yuno
"Hello, I heard that you have a 4 leaf clover just like me," said Ren while showing his own 4 Leaf Clover Grimoire
'Damn it all those years staying in the jungle has made me trash at conversations,' thought a chibi Ren
"Oh yeah," said Yuno flabbergasted after seeing another 4 leaf clover,while showing his own
"Nice, My name is Ren by the way Ren Amamiya," said Ren but then he 'smelled' a large amount of mana, while from the corner of his eye he caught a grey-hair man being crushed by a buffed gangster
' Yami check,' thought Ren
"Yuno," said Yuno and he and Ren started talking
"Yuno do you know him," asked Ren while pointing towards Asta
"NO!," screamed Yuno not wanting people to associate him with Asta
'Should I help him? will help me check my current level,' thought Ren before disappearing in a flash
'Huh what's with that speed,' thought Yuno
"Umm Mister can you let him go," asked Ren but he already knew the answer
"So you want to die to kid sure!," said Yami before trying to grab Ren's head by using his unoccupied hand but Ren countered it
'Oh? such raw strength,' thought Yami seeing Ren's easily counter his hand
'Let's test his limits,' thought Yami but before he could do it he was called by Finral
"Tsk, Blue-hair If I find you somewhere I will kill you," said Yami before leaving.
"Oi Yuno is he your friend," asked Asta and Ren stared at him blankly but Yuno just gave him that smile that you give to a random guy you just met who claims to be your uncle.
"Well Yuno and Asta Good Luck with the exams," said Ren before leaving to check on captains who just arrived while ignoring the stink eye that Yami was giving him.

"It is the best squad currently in the kingdom,"

William then gave his speech,
"Well then Let us commence the exam," said William Vangeance

"Anyone who has basic control over their magic should be able to do this, if not then you are not worth for the Magic knights," said William
'theoretically once your a broom with enough mana you can resist the gravity acting on you and boom,' thought Ren
'Hmm this is quite easy,' thought Ren as he currently upside down on the broom shocking not only the examinees but the captains aswell.

"Hmm he is the second person with a 4 leaf clover," said William
"We should disqualify that brat for cheating," said Yami while puffing
"The other guy with a 4 leaf clover's got good control as well," said Fuegoleon looking at Yuno but then he saw Ren going around spooking other contestants while controlling his broom without even standing on it
"Did he just," said William while looking at Yami whose cigarette fell, Dorothy became awake and then excited.
"Yeah, he is controlling his broom from a distance without standing on it, theoretically it is possible by leaving some residual mana in the broom to form a link then control the broom that way but to do that you need to have a horrendous amount of mana control," said Dorothy as all the captains nodded
"What a complete monster," said Yami

"The Next test is firing a Magic attack at this Wall," said William Vangeance
Some time later
"Did that guy just punch the wall and it broke,"

After that the tests were a breeze for Ren, He always got the top spot while Yuno was a close second.
'Yuno is really good only he might be able to give me some challenge,' thought Ren
"So the Final Exam will be a Battle between the contestants, you can choose anyone you want but only if the other party wills it," said William causing people to be startled and murmurs started spreading like what if we lose.
'Hmm where's yuno,' thought Ren but then he saw Yuno fighting a noble and beat the shit out of him
'Tsk, well let us fight Asta,' thought Ren but then he saw Asta beat up Sekke
'Why the hell are their so many matches taking place at one time,' thought Ren but then he got the answer, As magic knight captains they do not have much time except Yami of course. So to maximise the efficiency they made them do multiple matches a the same time.
"Hey you, commoner, I give you the honour to fight me" said a Noble who arrived in front of Ren with 3 lackeys behind him.
"Get lost," said Ren before throwing a light beam at the 4 blasting them away.
