Jinnifer!

-----Jinnifer pov, the robot assistant.-----

Z wanted me to get a statue. This seemed like the right planet, however buildings were in destroyed ruins. Scanning the surroundings I found lifeforms hiding in bunkers and hide outs. From the readings they were called the Konatsian. Actually some were hybrids of another species called the Kashvar.

Looking at the list Z had gave me. A man named Hoi should be looking for two musical boxes. Second was a Statue of a monster and a sword that was used to seal the beast. Hoi was a Kashvar who wanted to resurrect the monster by unsealing the magical music boxes. However at the bottom Z had listed this information as a paradox. I did not understand what he meant, but I assumed it meant the information was inaccurate.

I looked back at the hidden people. Z would want to use these people... The Kashvar should be extinct more or less except the Hoi person. Which meant these hybrids were that of war faults.

A laser was fired and reflected of my metallic skin. It was interesting, it seemed these people were hostile. I fired a blast of my own vaporizing the building. Landing I grabbed the individual who shot me. "Tell me where the statue of Hirudegarn is."

"The Statue! Why would you... Oh god you really are with the Kashvar."

I shook my head. "That is a negative, I work for a man named Z. He wishes to use Hirudegarn for its purpose."

The elven man struggled slightly, "For its purpose? Do wish to restore Hirudegarn to its original state?"

That was unlisted. "I am not sure. Z just wishes for the statue. Tell me the original purpose."

The Konatsian shook and pointed. "Its on the statue! I-Its to the north."

I dropped the man and flew to the statue. He almost immediately ran into the shadows. Many people seemed to be watching. I ignored them as I flew north. A large energy source was listed on my scanners and I found the source. A large stone statue with a sword placed within its arms irradiated the magical energy.

Looking at the surroundings it was most certainly not as Z described. I had noticed the land previously as ruined, however I now understand it as not ruined. Everything on the surface of the planet was petrified. That was why people were living underground. The surface was black, ashy and all stone.

I landed in front of the statue. It was larger then expected. Luckily I had the appropriate storage...

Another blast flew towards me. My sensors actually indicated it as a threat. If I was hit by that blast I would've been turned to stone. I looked at the short wizard who stared at me. "Why do you fire upon me?"

"Anyone interested in Hirudegarn are either evil or fools. I suggest you leave this place now miss."

Hmmm, "I thank you for your acknowledgement. However you do not need to concern yourself about my morals or intelligence."

The wizard was prepared to attack again. However he chose to speak first. "I AM HOI LAST OF MY KIND! I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE LEAVE THE STATUE ALONE AND BEGONE FROM THIS WORLD!"

I blinked as I processed that this wizard was the person Z had listed. It seemed Hirudegarn did more then just nearly wipe out the Konatsian, it seems it turned on the Kashvar as well. Three petrified individuals were near the statue. One was likely a Kashvar while the other two were Konatsian. I stared at Hoi debating if i should kill him. More specifically all the people who pointed weapons at me.

All the people buried in bunkers had rose to help Hoi defend the statue. It seemed I would not be able to help Z use these people. Bolting forward I grabbed Hoi by the throat and squeezed. He managed to fire his magic once more and it struck my hand. I squeezed harder as I ripped the petrifying arm from my body. I was mechanical an arm could be replaced.

Hoi struggled to breath due to my petrified arm still choking him. The Konatsian began firing their weapons at me. Some were bullets that ricocheted off me and others were lasers which fizzled or reflected. It seemed Hoi was the only one who could harm me. I jumped to the statue and pulled the sword free. From my sensors it would not alter the statue.

When I got close to the statue the people stopped firing. it seemed they wouldn't risk anything. This would be easy. I swung the sword through the first person I got close to. Then another and another, and eventually I found there were no more vital signs. I turned back to the statue along with the three petrified heroes.

I sighed, I would need to free them from the ground which was fused to them. Since the whole surface was stone the petrified and... It seemed the spell Hoi fired at me was more dangerous then I thought. He was petrified just like the heroes. However he shared the energy that the statues did. This was magic for certain, I would free the now petrified Hoi as well.

While chiseling an alert pinged in my eyes. It seemed Z's third body was in trouble. Apparently he would need someone to act as his hands as he regenerated from, well a hand. How did that even happen.

I looked down at my own missing arm. "Is this? is this a conundrum? What was the word for the feeling I had. It feels like I should laugh in a way."

I shrugged, I could finish getting the statues first.
