Chapter 7: Arrival on Earth

"The system detected that the host was about to arrive on Earth," a voice intoned, rousing me from my rest.

My eyes snapped open, instantly alert as I scanned the control panel before me. "Are we almost there?" my voice cutting through the silence of the cockpit.

With a deafening roar, the two spaceships collided with the earth, sending shockwaves rippling through the ground; the impact reverberated across a desolate landscape.

As the dust settled, the hatch of the circular spaceship slowly creaked open, revealing Vegeta and Napa.

The two figures floated gracefully to the ground, their expressions masked behind stoic facades as they surveyed their surroundings.

"Now turn on the detector and see where the people on Earth who killed the weakling Raditz are," I commanded, as I addressed my subordinate.

Napa wasted no time, swiftly donning the detector and activating its scanning capabilities. "Got it, Prince Vegeta," Napa replied, his fingers touching the buttons on the device as he scanned the area.

Numbers flickered across the screen, indicating the presence of potential threats nearby.

"Vegeta, there are four or five fighters with high combat power flying towards us," Napa reported.

"Okay, let's wait here for work; they will come to find death by themselves, hum," I said plainly.

We were currently in a desolate land with tall rocks around us. I sat on the ground, patiently waiting, and as soon as we detected them, we began to move closer to them.

Meanwhile, in the skies above, a group of Earth's defenders soared towards the scene of the crash.

Krillin and Yamcha led the charge, bracing themselves for battle. Behind them trailed two more figures, Tien and Chiaotzu, their resolve matching that of their companions as they prepared to confront the looming threat.

"Gohan, be on your guard. The Saiyans have come," Piccolo's voice echoed across the desert, his tone grave as he addressed his young protege.

"But why would they be headed our way?" Gohan questioned, confusion evident in his expression as he struggled to comprehend the sudden turn of events.

"They are probably seeking to eliminate the strongest power level first," Piccolo explained, and he surveyed the horizon for any signs of the approaching enemy.

"But my dad, who's the strongest, is dead," Gohan said.

"I was referring to me," Piccolo retorted; his patience was wearing thin.

"Oh, then by that logic, I suppose you would have the strongest power level on Earth," Gohan replied, as he finally understood.

I reclined on a nearby rock, exuding an air of nonchalance as he awaited the arrival of the Earthlings.

As I sat there, I thought. "If they have already used the Dragon Balls, then I won't be able to use them at this time. Considering that the Namekian Dragon Balls are stronger and can grant more wishes, I should pay them a visit after I'm done fighting here."

Nappa, as the loyal subordinate, stood dutifully by my side, his eyes scanning the horizon for any signs of movement. Nappa has been loyal since Vegeta was a child, always following him around and supporting him in his battles.

Suddenly, the Z Fighters descended from the sky, landing some distance away from the Saiyan duo.

Krillin, spotting Piccolo and Gohan among the group, slowly made his way over to them, curiosity etched on his face.

"Hey, guys, you're also here." Krillin greeted them, his tone a mix of relief.

"Ah, Gohan, you've grown so big. I hardly recognize you anymore, and your body looks very strong," he added, patting Gohan on the shoulder.

Piccolo chimed in; there was some confidence in his voice as he said. "Good, it seems you've increased your power since we last met. You're almost as strong as Gohan now," Piccolo remarked, a grin spreading across his face, but his words caused Krillin's eyes to widen in shock.

"What! But he's only like 10!" Krillin exclaimed, unable to comprehend how a young child could possess such incredible strength.

"It's because I'm a Saiyan," Gohan said.

Krillin turned his attention to Gohan's training. "So, how harsh was the training?" he inquired.

Gohan shrugged, his expression thoughtful. "Well, the training wasn't that bad. Piccolo is actually nice once you get to know him. I've only been chased by dinosaurs and fell from a mountain, burned by fires, and almost drowned in a river," he replied casually, downplaying the challenges he had faced.

Krillin's expression darkened as memories of his own training flooded back, a shiver running down his spine at the thought of Mr. Popo's relentless drills and sinister laughter.

"Krillin, why are you crying?" Piccolo interjected, irritation evident in his voice as he observed Krillin's distressed demeanor.

"Dammit, he's already crying, and the Saiyans aren't even here yet," Piccolo muttered to himself with a hint of annoyance.

Before the conversation could continue, Vegeta's voice cut through the air like a knife. "We have arrived," I announced, as me and Nappa landed some distance away from the Z Fighters.

The Z fighters looked at the two Saiyans stunned; only Piccolo had the courage to speak.

"So, what do we call you?" Piccolo inquired, his gaze fixed on the Saiyan duo before them.

"I am Nappa, and this is Vegeta," Nappa replied, his voice tinged with a hint of arrogance as he introduced himself and his prince to their adversaries.

I sat on a rock, and while looking at them, I said. "You will all go to hell soon to catch up, but can any of you tell me where Kakarot is?"

Krillin, sensing the tension in the air, took a step forward, his voice trembling slightly as he addressed the Saiyan prince. "Goku will be here soon. Do you dare to wait for him? Don't destroy anything until he comes back!"

A smirk played across my lips as I regarded the diminutive warrior before him. "This prince is not interested in destroying earth for now," I declared. "But I don't mind sending you to hell. Where did you get the courage to make demands?"

Krillin swallowed hard, his heart pounding in his chest as he struggled to maintain his composure in the face of Vegeta's menacing presence.

"My dad will beat you," Gohan interjected.

My gaze shifted to the trembling boy, and I regarded the young Saiyan with contempt. "Your father is nothing compared to me. And neither are any of you. You are nothing but insects compared to the might of a true Saiyan."

"And you must be that half-breed son of Kakarot," I remarked. "Are you interested in following me to conquer the universe? If you join me, I'll spare yours and your friends lives."

Gohan's expression hardened as he shook his head defiantly. "I won't kill people with you. You are all bad people," he declared, his voice filled with conviction.

"Very well," I conceded with a shrug. "Nappa, go and play with them, but don't kill all of them."

Nappa's grin widened as he stepped forward, eyeing the group of Earthlings with a predatory gleam in his eyes. "Vegeta, why don't we let the Saibamen play with them?" he suggested eagerly.

"Whatever you want, but don't kill the green guy," I replied, my attention already turning back to the main objective of their mission.

As Nappa moved to engage the Z Fighters, Nappa's gaze lingered on Piccolo, the Namekian warrior who stood among them. "Oh look, Vegeta, it's a Namekian."

"Yes, I heard that the Nameks in the universe are very powerful. And some have magical abilities. This would explain how they managed to kill Raditz." I said it with interest. In the future, I also wanted to unlock my magic power.

Krillin's eyes widened in surprise at Vegeta's words. "Mister Piccolo, is he telling the truth?" he asked, turning to the Namekian for confirmation.

Piccolo's expression was inscrutable as he processed the revelation. "So I'm a Namekian," he muttered to himself.

Meanwhile, Nappa couldn't resist a crude joke at Piccolo's expense. "Hey Vegeta, this means he doesn't have a pen*s, right?"

Gohan looked at Piccolo and said, "Haha! So what exactly does that mean, mister Piccolo? You survive mostly on water; does that make you a slug or a plant?"

Piccolo bristled at the mockery, his jaw clenched in frustration as he struggled to maintain his composure. "Gohan, not now. Stop asking questions," he growled, shooting a warning glance at him.

But Gohan was undeterred, his curiosity getting the better of him as he continued to barrage Piccolo with

scientific inquiries. "Do you also conduct photosynthesis?"

"NEERD!" Piccolo snapped, his patience finally reaching its breaking point as he lashed out at Gohan.

Vegeta, growing impatient with the banter, refocused the conversation on their primary objective. "The purpose of our visit is for the Dragon Balls. You better hand them over obediently or else I will kill all of you," I demanded, my tone leaving no room for negotiation.

But Piccolo remained steadfast as he faced down the Saiyan prince. "Hmph, thank you for letting me know who my ancestors are. Unfortunately, I am not the one who has the Dragon Balls."

"Vegeta, let me read their power levels." Nappa adjusted his scouter and began scanning the Z Fighters for their power levels.

"Nappa, don't bother. They are hiding their true power levels." I sneered. "Give me your scouter. There's a better way to test their power; use the Saibamen."

"Saibamen?!" the Z fighters were curious what I spoke about.

Everyone watched as Nappa moved to an empty spot and retrieved a small bottle containing several plant seeds, and with a practiced hand, he planted the seeds on the ground before them.

Next, he produced another bottle filled with a viscous green liquid and poured it over the seeds, causing them to sprout and grow rapidly.

As the group looked on in horror, six grotesque, green creatures emerged from the ground, their twisted forms exuding a palpable aura of malevolence.

"What... what are those things?" Krillin stammered, his voice trembling with fear as he beheld the monstrous creations.

"These are cultivated plant lifeforms, each with the same power level as Raditz," Vegeta explained. "That's right, Raditz was so weak that we can grow Raditzes."
