The ground trembled violently as the dark energy surrounding the Dark Overlord began to condense. His body shimmered, distorted by the raw power he was unleashing. His anger was palpable, the once calm, calculated menace turning into raw, uncontrollable fury.
"You dare challenge me?" The Overlord's voice rang out, filled with malice and hatred. "You insignificant ants! I will crush you all beneath my heel!"
Kaito, Goku, and Naruto stood firm, their bodies still crackling with the residual energy of their combined attack. Their faces were set in determination, but they could feel the weight of the Overlord's wrath. The battle was far from over, and they had only just begun to scrape the surface of his true power.
"We've got him on the ropes!" Goku said, grinning despite the pressure. "That last attack did some damage, but we can't let up now!"
"Right!" Naruto said, his eyes burning with resolve. He clutched his fists tighter. "We've got this! There's no way we're letting him win!"
But Kaito was silent. His mind was working at full speed, analyzing their options. The Overlord's powers were terrifying—he was clearly an ancient being, and his connection to the Abyssal Rift was deep. Even with the Overlord's Bane technique weakening him, Kaito knew they couldn't afford to underestimate him.
The Dark Overlord raised both hands, his energy swirling violently around him, and with a monstrous roar, he unleashed a torrent of darkness toward them. The blast was massive, consuming everything in its path, and it slammed into the trio with the force of a thousand storms.

"Everyone, get down!" Kaito shouted, diving to the side and pulling Naruto and Goku with him. The dark energy surged around them, ripping through the ground and sending shockwaves across the battlefield.
"Kaito, we can't keep dodging forever!" Goku yelled, quickly flipping back to his feet. "We need to hit him with everything we've got!"
Naruto was already readying another Rasengan, his eyes steely with determination. "I've got a plan! If we can combine our attacks into one, we can hit him hard! We just need the perfect timing!"
Kaito nodded. He had an idea as well—he knew they needed to coordinate their strikes to break through the Overlord's defenses once and for all.

The Dark Overlord was still hovering high above, his eyes glowing with dark power. "You think you can beat me with your weak attacks?" he sneered. "You are nothing. I am the abyss. I will devour you all!"
Kaito clenched his fists, the energy of the Multiverse Chat Group coursing through him. He had a limited amount of time before the Overlord fully regained his strength, and he needed to act now.
"Goku, Naruto, now's the time!" Kaito shouted. "Concentrate all your energy into one blast! I'll channel it into a finishing move!"
The two nodded in perfect synchrony. They didn't need any more words; the bond they had formed over the past few days was enough. Goku's Super Saiyan Blue aura flared up, his power soaring as he merged his energy with Naruto, whose Rasengan began to glow brighter than ever before.
The two charged at the Overlord together, each of their attacks mixing into a spiraling vortex of blue and white energy. But it wasn't enough. The Overlord had already gathered a massive ball of dark energy in his hand, preparing to erase them from existence.
"This ends now!" The Overlord shouted, launching the blast with unimaginable force.
Kaito's heart raced. He couldn't let them fail. Not now. Not after everything they had been through.
"Cosmic Bind!" Kaito roared, activating a new ability granted by the Chat Group.
Kaito's energy exploded outward, expanding into a massive wave that wrapped around the incoming blast. The Cosmic Bind formed an ethereal net of pure energy, weaving through the Overlord's dark attack and twisting it into an unstable vortex. For a moment, the two forces clashed, sending shockwaves through the rift.
"What is this?!" The Overlord hissed, feeling the pull of Kaito's power.
Kaito gritted his teeth, his focus absolute. He could feel the dark energy pulling at his very soul, but he refused to relent. "Now! All of us together!"
With a final push, Kaito channeled every ounce of power from his comrades, combining their strength with the Cosmic Bind. In a blinding flash, the dark energy collapsed on itself, completely reversing the flow and sending the Overlord's blast back at him.
"No…!" the Overlord's voice faltered as his own attack consumed him. The rift around them trembled, the very fabric of reality shaking under the force of the backlash.
With a deafening roar, the Overlord was engulfed by his own attack, and the dark energy erupted in a shockwave, sending Kaito, Goku, and Naruto flying backward.

Victory and Sacrifice
Kaito barely managed to maintain his footing as the explosion rang out, and he saw Goku and Naruto struggling to stand as well. The ground was scorched and shattered, the remains of the Overlord's army scattered in the aftermath.
"Did we…?" Naruto panted, his breath coming in ragged gasps.
Goku let out a hearty laugh, rubbing his face. "We did it, Kaito! That was amazing! We beat him!"
But Kaito stood in silence, staring at the sky where the Abyssal Rift had once been. The rift was still there, but it was shrinking, slowly fading away into nothing. The Overlord was gone, but something was still amiss. Kaito could feel it.
"It's not over yet."
As if on cue, the ground trembled once more. From the rift, a new, even darker figure emerged. This one was smaller but no less menacing. It was a woman, draped in dark robes that seemed to ripple with void energy. Her face was hidden, but the aura around her was oppressive.
"You… think you've won?" her voice was calm, but the malice in it was unmistakable. "You've only defeated one fragment of the true force behind the Abyss. I am the true master of the Rift, and I will not be so easily vanquished."
Kaito's heart sank. This battle was far from over.
