The Resolve of a Hero

In a bright flash of white a room came into view, it was blue in texture and had numbers running down the walls, in front of Kaito he saw options for gender and race. There was an array of options. Majin, Frost Demon, Human, Namekian, Android, Sayian, Half Breed (Whatever that meant), and a whole bunch of others he recognized as Beerus's and Jiren's race plus some more.

"Hmmm This is a tough choice" Kaito Spotted that Half breed option again and thought to himself. ("Was it like Gohan?"). He was beside himself as a natural indecisive mess. "Screw it, I'll Close my eyes and see what happens," A few minutes later he heard a ping and when he opened his eyes he was in a new room.

This room looked like a dressing room mashed together with a bar. It was a strange sight but Kaitos eyes glided over to the mirror and saw he looked human enough and sighed. Guess his luck was just that bad. At Least he could Customize his character. 2 hours later he was finally finished. Looking back in the mirror, he saw he was wearing something akin to a military uniform. Instead of his normal brown hair in real life, he took a page out of his sister's book and had black hair with a red streak mixed in it was short and messy. His shirt was black with red lines running down the sides, same with the pants. His wrists had bracelets, one red and one black on each arm. His eyes were Red with a black outline matching his outfit. 

"Well now don't I look like a bounty hunter?" Kaito laughed to Himself. 

He clicked on the continue button and found he forgot his name. He thought for a minute before putting his real name with a slight altercation. "Kai? Is this correct" the prompt lit up within a warning stating that should he wish to change it he could not. Clicking the confirm button, Kai was enveloped in a flash of white before he found himself in the center of Conton City. A marker pointed out the direction he should follow. Walking slowly, not used to his new body Kai(Kaito) relished the new world he found himself in. Soon he saw a short pink girl in robes yelling at a tall man with purple hair in an overcoat. The marker was blinking above them so Kai decided to walk closer. 

"Trunks, I warned you about messing with time! This is bad." The short pink girl seemed to be angry at Trunks for something he might have done. 

"Supreme Kai of Time I'm sorry its just I couldn't leave that Patroller to die" Trunks looked down remembering what happened to his late master Gohan.

"I get that Trunks, But they know the danger. They signed up for this life kiddo" Chronoa(Supreme Kai of Time is too long) sighed and looked at Trunks she felt sorry for him knowing why he did what he did. 

"I don't know what to do, Supreme Kai of time! That was our last recruit who wasn't on mission" Trunks suddenly spotted Kai who was standing there. "You! Thank god! We need your help" Trunks Turned to Chronoa to continue. 

"Trunks He's just a…..wait a minute" Chronoa walked over to Kai and looked him over. "That's Interesting He's Human?" Chronoa's voice seemed to trail off in thought. 

"Ummm…Hello I'm Kai" Kaito greeted the strange pair. Internally he was freaking out, never once in his life did he imagine meeting them face to face like this. 

"Hello Kai, I am the Supreme Kai of time. I govern all of space and time" Chronoa pointed to her right and introduced Trunks. "This here is Trunks, He messed with time so now he's stuck working for me." she snickered at that last part. Trunks started to sweat a bit remembering how they met.

"I see" Kaito already knew this information but hearing it from them was a whole new feeling. 

"Will you help us?" Trunks suddenly asked out of the blue. Chronoa glared at him and coughed to get our attention.

"Yes we do need an extra hand, I would appreciate it if you could do this for us Kai" A smile graced her lips.

Chronoa extended her hand and a window popped up. "Help Chronoa fix Space Time by Defeating Raditz alongside Goku and Piccolo" Kaito was astonished he almost forgot he was talking to A.I they were so real and lifelike. Shaking his head Kaito reached out and shook her hand suddenly he felt an influx of power and looked down at Chronoa. He felt immense power escaping her though he also felt her trying to cap a lid on it. 

"Glad you Accepted! Please follow me" Trunks grabbed Kaitos shoulder and dragged him away. Soon they stopped in front of a vault it seemed. "This here is the Time vault! This is where missions are handed out to you." Trunks smiled remembering Chronoa explaining all of this to him too in the past. "Get Ready" Trunks Handed Kaito a purple and white scroll with golden outlines. 

In yet another flash of blinding light Kaito was gone. He reappeared above a clearing and fell to the earth alerting the fighters that someone had arrived. Getting up with a groan Kaito looked around and saw everyone staring at him. Kaito quickly tried to get into a fighting stance but found he was sloppy. 

"Goku! That one of your Friends?" Piccolo was baffled and looked mad.

"I don't know him, but if he's here to help. Who cares!" Goku laughed his iconic chortle. Turning back to Raditz, Goku's playful face faded as soon as it crossed his features. 

"I don't care how many people you bring! In front of a real Sayian you're all ants!" Raditz bellowed out with a lot of pride. But behind his eyes lingered fear. Raditz is a very cautious individual and in his heart he never really wanted to hurt Kakarot, but orders are orders. "Get Ready Kakarot! This planet will be reduced to ash when I'm through with this farce!"
