Scarlett went to college with Ryan, people never got tired. She was again swarmed by different people. Even though Ryan made it clear that she was his cousin Olivia, they still had it at the back of their minds that as long as she looked like Scarlett Quinn then she was Scarlett Quinn. Scarlett herself knew she couldn't do anything to change that. She'd bought some hair dye and contacts but the contacts made no difference and the dye didn't change even a single strand of hair color on her head. She couldn't keep coming out like this in public, if she really was Scarlett Quinn, then she had to get the hell out of Ensco and find her family.

She quietly squeezed her way out of the crowd following after Ryan. They weren't having the same lectures so he left after escorting her to her lecture hall. It was way worse in the lecture hall, the crowd outside seemed to be everyone attending the same lectures as her. Those who didn't realize it before joined the crowd. Scarlett was getting angry now and her gum began to itch as an incredible scent filled her nostrils causing her eyes to slowly change color unconsciously.

"Alright everyone, give the lady some space…let her be," that voice. She turned toward the source of that familiar voice and the crowd made a path for the owner of the voice, when she saw his face, an image flashed through her head. 'This is…you' that was her voice and she seemed to be talking to this exact same person in that memory. "Hello Olivia, I'm Gallus…Gallus Grey," his ice blue eyes stared straight into her grey ones. She couldn't help but have this feeling that this Gallus guy was someone she was very acquainted with. Everyone there didn't know who to gawk at. If Scarlett was the goddess then Gallus was the god. Their beauty seemed so unreal yet real all the same. Gallus flashed a knowing smile at her and left.

After lectures, she and Ryan went over to Eliza's school to pick her up. Scarlett got out of the car and leaned on it with a black hood over her face, her phone in her hand and black ear pods in her ear but she could hear every sound perfectly well. She'd got a new phone.

"Eliza!" Ryan called when he sighted her with her friends. Eliza smiled at him and said a few words to her friends. "I think Eliza called her friends over…"

"Why would you say that?" Scarlett asked with her eyes still on her phone.

"Because they're coming with her," Scarlett looked up and noticed a few girls and three boys coming with them with Eliza in their middle. They were still talking but as they came closer, everyone stopped talking and said hi to Ryan.

"You guys won't guess who this is, it's…" Eliza stopped short as she remembered she wasn't supposed to let anyone know Scarlett Quinn was living with them. "This is my cousin Olivia, she looks a lot like Scarlett Quinn," the girls shrieked in excitement while the boys stared at Scarlett in disbelief.

"Could you take off your hood please," one of the girls requested. Scarlett hesitated but she couldn't even do anything because a small breeze blew causing her hood to fall. The kids around them stared in amazement and surprise.

"She looks exactly like her," another kid exclaimed.

"Is it co splay?" a girl asked. The girl seemed doubtful that it wasn't real. How could someone look exactly like another person? There had to be a slight difference but there was none.

"I…"

"Yeah it is, she loves co splay a lot and Scarlett Quinn is her favorite character," Ryan interrupted. Scarlett took the chance and covered her face again.

"Sorry guys but I can't let anyone see me, I didn't think I would look a lot like Scarlett but everywhere I go, people think I am her,"

"Wow you sound just like her too," another kid exclaimed. 'You've got to be kidding me! Why does everyone in Ensco know what I look and sound like so much?' Scarlett screamed at herself mentally. She didn't have an explanation for that so she just stayed quiet. Thankfully one of Eliza's friends changed the topic.

"We'll see you at the party right Eliza?" a blond boy asked.

"Definitely," Eliza replied with a smile that didn't escape Ryan's notice.

"So what's his name?" Ryan grinned and whispered in Eliza's ear causing her to shiver. Eliza blushed and tucked a strand of her black hair behind her ear.

"James, I really like him and his dad is one of the richest guys in Ensco. His parents were invited to an event hosted by Grey Enterprises, they're letting him go with them and he asked if I'm going, I'm not sure if mum and dad are though, but I said yes anyway, he wants me to be his date…please tell me mum and dad are going for that event and we're going with them Ryan?" Eliza said.

"Eliza, take a deep breath," Scarlett said as she placed her hands on Eliza's shoulders.

"Let's get into the car first then I'll answer your questions, what's your favorite color?"

"Red…wait, you haven't answered me?" Eliza said.

"That's the color of the dress you're wearing tonight," Ryan answered as he drove the car out of the school's premises.

"…we're going?" Eliza asked and Ryan nodded. "Yes! You're the best Ryan," she squealed. Scarlett politely refused that she couldn't wear a dress; Mark and Lionel didn't push her. They already knew that she, Scarlett didn't wear dresses to occasions like these…she usually didn't attend these occasions.

The party was nothing short of glamour and elegance. Everyone was dressed to impress. Soon Mark and Lionel were talking to friends and business partners, while Ryan flirted with the daughters of other rich men. Eliza was with James and she seemed to be enjoying her time with him. Scarlett scoffed, she was pretty sure that even in her memories, she didn't attend these parties. She had her eyes on Eliza the whole time but her ears were everywhere, she could hear every word every single soul in the room said.

"Hello there I'm Kara Swan, Mark's younger sister,"

"Uh…I'm Olivia,"

"Don't worry Scarlett, Mark already told me, you don't need to worry, your secret's safe with me," Kara said. Kara was a fashion model who modeled for Grey Enterprises fashion products. She was beautiful and had the same demeanor as Eliza and she liked Kara the more she talked with her.

"You know kid…sitting here alone isn't safe for you, someone could spike your drink after seeing a beautiful girl sitting here all alone," Gallus' voice reminded her that she was in an event and just finished talking to someone that made her smile a lot.

"I don't do parties like these," she said.

"I know, maybe you should take a break and you need to feed, there's a special drink for…special guests tonight," he whispered to her and left. She turned to the waiter who approached her. The waiter gave a glass of something red but when she brought it to her lips, the scent hit her nostrils, her eyes changed color immediately. Scarlett felt uneasy, this wasn't wine. She took the glass with her and left the main hall. She stopped in front of large double doors. She had no idea where she was going but she just knew she couldn't let anyone see her this way, she just had this weird feeling that something in her appearance had changed.

Scarlett pushed open the double doors as she gulped the contents of the glass down. Then she realized that it was blood, she just drank blood! That meant that a lot of people in the hall were this dempire stuff Gallus told her about and demons and vampires were fucking real. Her gum and throat itched; she felt something in her mouth grow longer, her finger went to her teeth and she felt her canine prick her finger. Her heart thudded against her chest. She stared at herself through the glass, it felt normal but why was she panicked.

Seth walked out of his walk-in-closet already dressed. He was surprised to find a foreign scent lingering in his suite, he couldn't say he didn't like it but he wondered what it was. He looked around and his eyes settled on a girl sitting on the floor with her back against the doors and head in between her legs. He ignored the slight throbbing of his head that started as he spotted the girl.

"It's very reckless of a dempire to come to a gathering thirsty where humans are present," a deep and alluring voice brought her out of her thoughts. She looked up and her already reddened eyes met with a pair of cold ice blue eyes staring curiously at her. She didn't realize that she had stepped into someone's bedroom. Had she gone all the way upstairs just to find somewhere to hide? The room was dark but she could see his face perfectly clear. His jet black hair was damp and disheveled. His piercing ice blue eyes held no emotion as he spoke but his tone was that of amusement, his well defined strong jaw line gave him a sinister yet handsome look.

"I…I'm sorry I, I didn't know this…this was someone's bedroom," Scarlett stuttered. She was surprised; she wasn't one to stutter so easily. She was almost a hundred percent sure that in her memories, she'd never stuttered like this. The man was in front of her in a flash. He reached out and cupped her chin, making her look up at him. The touch of his leather gloved hand on her chin was…distracting to say the least.

"You lost your memories," he murmured. Scarlett stared at him surprised, how did he know that? A knock on the door stopped the man from saying anything else.

"Your highness it's time to leave," a voice said at the other side of the door. Seth sighed annoyed and then turned to the girl. He hated all these parties because if he wanted to leave then his brothers whom he had no memories of would make him attend for at least half an hour.

"You should leave and drink more blood Reckless," he said. "We don't want you sinking your fangs into any human's neck now do we?" he smirked revealing a faint dimple on his left cheek. Scarlett stared at him not knowing how to look away. She didn't even realize when he left. She stumbled to her feet and left the room with a dazed mind. She needed fresh air…yeah that was exactly what she needed. She was about to touch the door knob to pull the door open but she felt herself being pulled and when she looked around, she was outside the villa.

"Shit!" Scarlett exclaimed. Was this what being a dempire was about? If so then why the hell did she make herself forget this life? "This is awesome!"

"Eliza!" she turned to the sound of that voice. That was James' voice and what the hell was he doing out here and why was he calling out to Eliza.

"James?" Scarlett called. James turned to her.

"Scarlett…oh I'm sorry Olivia,"

"What's wrong? Where's Eliza?"

"We were walking around, she said she didn't like it inside so we came out, she said she needed something from her brother's car and told me to wait here, I checked inside but I can't find her," Scarlett stared at him quietly, there was no way Eliza would bail on him, she liked him right?

"Go inside and see if she shows up, I'll find her," Scarlett said. James nodded; he was already sweaty from fear. She listened intently for any sound out of the ordinary. Her ears caught a sound, a heartbeat, it quickened with every harsh breath that person took. Her eyes instinctively closed and she saw a girl with raven black hair and hazel eyes running. She couldn't mistake those features with anyone else's. Her eyes flew open immediately and she found herself where she'd just seen Eliza. Wisps of dark smoke vanished behind her as Eliza bumped into her and shrieked as she fell to the ground.

"S…Scarlett please, please…don't let them…don't let them hurt me, please,"

"There's another beauty…" someone's voice lazily echoed in the air. The atmosphere was filled with the stench of whiskey and vodka and something else. Men with bloodshot red eyes walked toward them slowly. "The new beauty's one of us boys," he said. Scarlett stared at him confused. What did he mean by that? They smirked at each other and lazily strolled toward Scarlett and Eliza. They hesitated at first but continued when they didn't sense any threat from the girls. The first man reached out to touch Scarlett but he pulled his hand away almost immediately. His hand burned slowly all the way to his elbow. The men looked up at Scarlett and saw that her entire body was enveloped in a silver flame but it burned neither Scarlett nor Eliza.

"What the fuck are you?!" the second man screamed. Scarlett stayed quiet, she wasn't sure if she could fight. Right now she really wished she had her memories. They rushed at her but black smoke blocked their sight. When it cleared, Scarlett and Eliza weren't there anymore. They were in front of the villa.

"I need you to go back inside Eliza," Scarlett said.

"W…What just happened? And w…what about…you? You don't plan on going…?" Eliza's eyes flashed purple and Scarlett instinctively looked down at Eliza's arm. Eliza was bleeding but her blood was black and not red. Scarlett didn't know what got into her but she bit hard into her wrist and put it in Eliza's mouth. She pressed down on her arm so her blood could flow even more. "Why did you…?" Eliza asked dizzily.

"Just go inside, find Ryan, James or your parents, anyone at all," Scarlett instructed. She didn't want to leave Eliza on her own but she had to deal with those bastards. Her expression hardened as her eyes turned blood red. Scarlett materialized in front of the men, the daggers she'd found in her clothes materialized in her hands, one of them had dark wisps of smoke oozing from it. The men launched at her. She wasn't sure if she knew how to use a dagger but it felt free in her hands. Her body instinctively lifted itself from the ground and she landed behind the men on her feet. She looked at her hand and noticed that one of her daggers was gone; she looked up and found it in one of the men's chests. She smiled unconsciously as the dagger twisted itself in the man's chest and blood sprayed from his chest.

More men with blood red eyes appeared. She let go off the daggers and used her nails that were surprisingly claw like. The men weren't hard to beat off but they were too much for her. Her daggers, she noticed had a mind of their own. After a while, all the men were lying dead on the ground. Scarlett didn't seem exhausted; a flash of silver in her eyes caught someone's attention. Scarlett's face paled when she heard Eliza's scream, she knew telling Eliza to go inside on her own was a bad idea. She materialized in front of Eliza and her eyes landed on the dagger that was held against Eliza's throat.

"Who the hell are you?" it was the first man who had asked her that before. She didn't have an answer so she shrugged. "Answer the question! Who the hell are you?"

"I'm not sure, now let her go,"

"I'm not joking bitch, answer the fucking question or she dies!" Bitch? That was so uncalled for.

"Touch a hair on her head and you'll be sent to hell," Scarlett threatened as her eyes darkened even more.

"Who are you?!" he pressed the dagger harder against Eliza's throat.

"I don't fucking know!" Scarlett screamed. Her daggers sliced through the air and into the man's throat and chest. Blood splashed on Eliza's face as the man's body crumpled behind her. Scarlett caught Eliza before she collapsed. "I got you," she whispered and carried Eliza in her arms. She couldn't believe that neither Mark nor Lionel or even Ryan called to ask if she was with Eliza. And then there was James…did he even tell anyone? A memory so vivid she could see everything except herself. She was carrying a young girl this exact same way. She had fought people like these men for that girl before the girl fell unconscious and she'd given the girl her blood just like she gave Eliza. She still wasn't sure why she did that but she hoped it wouldn't do any harm to Eliza.

A pair of curious and intrigued ice blue eyes watched everything silently in the darkness. The silver flame intrigued him most about the girl. It was getting to midnight before he finally moved from his spot. The slight headache he felt when he saw her earlier was now excruciatingly painful and it wasn't midnight yet. Dark magic oozed from him, large black and sturdy wings grew from his back and large horns grew on his head as black veins popped on his arm and head. He fell to the ground clutching his head in pain before he vanished as dark wisps of smoke dissipated from where he was.
