Chapter 1: Ultra in Douluo

In the Star Dou forest, there was a great fight being waged. One group was wearing the uniform and badge of Spirit Hall. The other was clad in a tattered black robe with a strong blood smell. It was clear that this was the scene of Spirit Hall killing a group of evil spirit masters, and Spirit Hall was winning.

Behind the evil spirit masters was a stone altar drenched with blood. On the altar was a three month old infant. He was swaddled in white cloth but there was a bloodstain on the cloth. He was laid in the middle of an obscure magic circle written in blood on the ground.

He was trying to hold back his tears but failing. He was not a normal baby, he was originally a hotel chef on earth. He remembered he was making some snacks to eat as he watched an ultraman movie, ultraman saga. When suddenly the fricking stove exploded, and when he woke up, he was a baby.

From the screams, he could hear an important clue as to where he is now. The moment he heard "Spirit Hall" and "evil spirit master", he knew he was in the Douluo world, more specifically the first one.

The baby, Vaiss, finally couldn't hold back anymore, he cried loudly. Despite the mature soul, his physical body and instinct were an infant. He couldn't help it, this was a dangerous situation. The thick blood smell was choking him and he could tell that he was a sacrifice.

As a modern man living in a peaceful time, the most dangerous situation he was ever involved in was when he almost ended up jobless after he screwed up at work. He only ever saw so much blood in a movie.

Despite the fierce fight, everyone could hear Vaiss crying. The Spirit Hall member became even more fierce in their attack, angered by the evil soul masters who did not even let a baby go and also because if they don't stop them, they will finish the ceremony. 

If the ceremony was finished, either a projection of their evil god came or one or all of them were greatly strengthened. Either choice was bad for the Spirit Hall and by extension, the mainland.

The evil spirit master desperately defends against the attack and attempts at destroying the stone altar. One of the evil spirit masters managed to escape and ran toward the altar, intending to finish the ceremony.

While he couldn't see, Vaiss heard the approaching footsteps. He cried even louder, he was in despair. He just died and now he was going to die again? 

At this moment suddenly a voice echoed in his mind.

"Ding, detected a suitable host."

"Start Binding… Success."

"Hello, lucky host. The God-level Novice Package System at your service."

"Do you want to open the novice package?"

"Yes!"

Vaiss answered before he could even think, he was grabbing any survival chance he could get.

"Ding, opening the novice package."

"Congratulations to the host for opening the Ultra Package. Getting Ultra bloodline, inheritance, and random personal and race talents."

"Congratulations to the host for opening three random special skills."

"Congratulations to the host for opening an auxiliary Points System."

"Ding, detecting the host situation is critical."

"As a bonus, the system will give the host a free Ultraman projection to solve the immediate crisis for the host."

"The novice package reward has been issued."

"Ding, start Unbinding… success."

"Goodbye and good luck, Host."

"Thank you!"

Vaiss thanked the system from the bottom of his heart then he fell unconscious because of the tension. The Ultra bloodline began to transform his mortal body into an Ultra race body. It was the transformation of life level. All the damage he suffered before healed under the transformation.

While he was unconscious, the evil spirit master stopped in front of him and raised his sword, intending to kill Vaiss.

But a light dome suddenly appeared and covered Vaiss. The sword was repelled along with the evil spirit master. He glared at the light dome and was about to rush again, thinking that the light dome was a spirit skill of the Spirit Hall member.

But he stopped in his tracks and so did the fight. Because slowly a giant of light began to materialize behind the altar. 

The giant was at least 50 meters tall, with a pair of big horns on the side of its head that pointed to the sky. The giant face was like a mask with oval crystal-like eyes that glowed orange, silver skin with red, and blue gems on its chest. 

If Vaiss was awake, he would recognize the giant. It was none other than Father of Ultra. He crossed his hand, looking down. 

No one dared to move. Everyone felt pressured after Father of Ultra appeared. Even the soul beasts in a 100-mile radius dared not move, while the light attributes soul beasts prostrate themselves toward the direction of Father of Ultra.

When Father of Ultra appeared all the creatures on the continent felt it but they were suppressed. The one with light attributes felt kindness and awe but the one with evil attributes felt like they were going to be killed under massive pressure.

The Spirit Hall was a little better, while they felt pressured, it was not overbearing. While the evil spirit master only felt their whole body being crushed under a mountain. They couldn't speak or move, even breathing was difficult.

Father of Ultra looked at the evil spirit master below him and looked in another direction and shook his head. Everyone did not see any difference on the Father of Ultra's face but they could tell he was disappointed. Then suddenly all the evil spirit masters were engulfed in fire and burned to ashes before they could even scream.

The Spirit Hall members were terrified and then they noticed Father of Ultra was looking at them. They were nervous and panicked but they couldn't and dared not make any sudden movements. 

Father of Ultra stretched his hand at them, the gesture made the Spirit Hall members back drenched in a cold sweat. They thought the giant would kill them, but contrary to their imagination, soft light radiated from Father of Ultra's Hand.

The soft light shone on all the Spirit Hall members, their wounds and fatigue healed. Their spirit and stamina recovered. Even some that got their limbs cut off grew a new one. But unfortunately, the dead did not revive. After all, it was just a projection of Father of Ultra, not the real thing.

Father of Ultra nodded and looked at Vaiss on the altar. He shrank to human-sized and waved his hand, the altar was covered with light. The blood was gone and the original huge stone altar shrank, it became a baby crib made of crystal that glowed green. Vaiss laying on a soft bed of unknown material felt the change, he smiled.

Father of Ultra looked at Vaiss and nodded gently, the Spirit Hall Member could tell that Father of Ultra was delighted. 

"Grow well and be a just warrior, young ultra."

Father of Ultra gently caresses Vaiss's head and then disappears like melting snow. The Spirit Hall members could only stare blankly. While Father of Ultra left, they didn't dare to get close to Vaiss at all. 

They felt grateful and indebted to Father of Ultra for healing them but they are also a little scared of him. What if the act of getting closer to the baby crib was taken as a threatening act? Won't the existence from before attack them?

They looked at the baby crib and stayed vigilant of any possible attack on it. This was the least they could do.

Only small harmless soul beasts cautiously and slowly make their way to the baby crib as if tempted by something. Because they were too small and weak, they managed to slip their way in.

When the Spirit Hall members realize it, the soul beasts already reached the baby crib. They grew anxious, after all, no matter how small it was, they were still soul beasts. They could easily kill a baby. 

They wanted to go forward and dismiss the soul beasts but no one was brave enough to move. Finally when one of the soul beasts went inside the crib, one of the female Spirit Hall members rushed forward without hesitation.

As a mother herself, seeing a baby in a dangerous situation, she threw caution from before and focused on saving the baby. It only took seconds before she reached the baby crib, when she was ready to take action against the soul beast, what she saw in the crib was different from her imagination.

Vaiss was safe and still sleeping soundly, what strange was the cat soul beast curled beside him. Another strange thing was these small soul beasts that usually avoid humans but now they don't run and are still staying near the baby crib. No, it should be staying near Vaiss.

Another fox soul beast jumped in and curled on the other side of Vaiss. The female spirit master didn't know what to make of this situation. But she knew that these soul beasts wouldn't attack Vaiss. 

feeling relieved, she began to look carefully at Vaiss and she was surprised. Such a cute baby! After the transformation, it brought great change to Vaiss, inside and out. Vaiss now was much stronger than humans, in every way. And thanks to his special skills and Ultra bloodline, his appearance now was at its peak.

Shiny white skin, straight nose, rosy small mouth, and chubby cheeks. The combination of these features created a cute baby that made the female spirit master fall in love with just one look. The sleeping Vaiss was like an angel in the female spirit master's eyes, she couldn't help and poked Vaiss's cheek.

Fluffy and silky smooth cheek! Poke again.

She finally stopped when Vaiss frowned. The other spirit masters saw there was no danger and walked closer to the crib. They too were charmed by Vaiss when they saw him, especially the female spirit masters.

Both spirit masters and small soul beasts swarmed around Vaiss, creating a strange but harmonious picture.

"What are you guys doing? What happened just now? Report!"

A sudden feminine voice and title douluo pressure broke the picture and everyone suddenly straightened up. The small soul beasts didn't run but huddled up together around the baby crib.

"See the Chrysanthemum douluo and Ghost douluo!"

The Spirit Hall members bowed toward the two and one of the members with the highest status came to explain the situation to them.

After the explanation, Yue Guan and Ghost understand the situation and know the reason for the inexplicable pressure, the appearance of the giant, and the three contra evil soul masters who suddenly combust into ashes.

But despite that, they still had a hard time believing what happened. After what kind of strength should the giant possess to kill this many evil soul masters in an instant and heal so many Spirit Hall members? A god?

Looking at the sleeping Vaiss, the two fell silent.

"What should we do?"

Yue Guan admits that he never saw such a cute baby, and he couldn't help poking Vaiss's cheek. Ghost stayed silent.

"For now, it can be concluded that the giant is hostile toward the evil soul master and had a somewhat good impression of us since it heals all of our members. As for the baby…"

Ghost stared at Vaiss for a moment.

"Let's take it back with us. Since the giant left him here, it may intend to leave him under our care. Otherwise, with its strength, how could it not take the baby with him."

What Ghost didn't say was that what if the baby had the same or even half the strength of the giant when he grows up, won't he be a great addition to Spirit Hall?

He could tell the Father of Ultra's pressure radiated past the Great Star Dou forest, as for how far, he did not know. But he was sure that many forces would come to investigate the appearance of Father of Ultra. Rather than leaving a potential strong expert to them, it was better to bring him back.

"Okay, Let's do what you said."

Yue Guan agreed with Ghost's reasoning and nodded.

"All of you keep what's happening today to yourself and take it to your grave, otherwise I will kill the one who leaked it myself."

"Understood!"

Everyone knew the stake so no one was going to risk being hunted down by a titled douluo. Ghost looked at Yue Guan, who instantly knew what to do.

Yue Guan summoned a giant chrysanthemum, Ghost then removed the soul beasts inside the crib and chased them out. He carefully carried the crib to the chrysanthemum. After putting the crib down, he covers the crib with soul power so it wouldn't be disturbed when flying later. Ghost also took the female spirit master ,who ran toward Vaiss first, with themll.

As for why? Do you really expect two single dogs to take care of a baby? While they were flying and cut the travel time short, it would take a few days before they reached Spirit City. And the task of the female spirit master was to take care of Vaiss.

"Let's go."

Chrysanthemum lifted off and flew into the distance, in the direction of Spirit City. While the other Spirit Hall members cleaned the scene and covered the deceased with clean cloth to bring it back for funeral.

While the outside world was in turmoil because of Father of Ultra projection, the Spirit Hall members already cleared the scene. Leaving barely any clues as to what happened.

What they didn't know was that there was another party that knew what happened.
