Ch.22: Spirit Academy

(Time skip)

It's been 3 weeks since I shared a few techniques on the chat group.

When doing so I just did that as a formality. Who knew everyone will change their behavior towards be by such a large margin.

At first, they treated me as a newbie but now I am being treated as some kind of old monster. (in cultivation world's sense)

Some are even adding extra respect and flatteries in their sentences.

Honestly speaking it feels rather creepy when an orange octopus looking thing calls you sir and lord and whatnot while trying to sound cute.

*Shiver*

I get chills whenever I remember that.

Though I did find that some of them were really grateful for my help. Like Xia Yunba and Sung Jin Woo who have yet to get their cheats were happy to receive some help.

All in all, everything was okay. Until I was reminded of my elder sister.

Who was all pouty and sad that I did not give her anything personally and even sharing something comparable to a secret technique to everyone in chat group like free cabbages.

I did say that it was not a secret technique but just a low leveled one but she wasn't any of that.

Which is kind of understandable, after all you can't say a cultivation technique is nothing special in a world where only the protagonist has one.

Understanding my fault, I took it upon me to correct myself.

I promised her to find the best suitable technique for her and gift it to her on her birthday.

After a bit of persuasion, she wasn't that much angry anymore, probably...

Still, I will have to remember what I have promised.

What happened aside. Today is the day which will be my first day at the spirit academy.

Honestly, I think it is pretty wasteful to spend my precious time going to school studying with a few kids.

'But no can do. I will just have to prove I am far more advanced than them and it's better to let me graduate and not let the kids there be traumatized.'

Just as I was thinking that while playing around/ training with my spear skills a bit, I spotted a dazed Sister Nana staring at me.

Well, I noticed her long ago looking at me or more specifically my skillful use of different weapons while training.

'Does she have some particular interest in some weapon techniques?' I thought while squinting my eyes.

Just as I was done with my training, I got near her and said, "Sister Nana! Good morning!"

She broke out of her daze as I said that. A bit embarrassed that I caught her staring at me, "A-Ah! Good morning little brother. So, you train so hard every day. No wonder you are so strong! You must have practiced spear from a young age to achieve your current realm. Though you are still young…"

She tried to change the topic to her convenience probable cause she felt embarrassed. Though she said the last part a bit slower.

"I can also help you with spear techniques if you want to practice together sometimes together." I said seeing her genuine interest in spear arts.

"Ah! Umm… well, if you insist… I can't really disappoint you if that's what you want." She spoke.

"Haha" I just laughed.

At that time, I saw teacher coming out of the house and walking towards us.

I greeted seeing her coming over, "Good morning teacher!"

Sister Nana also noticed her arrival and followed suit, "Good morning, Teacher!"

She just smiled and nodded.

She came to me and ruffled my hair a bit, "Ready for the first day of academy?"

"Yes!" I gave a bright smile at that.

"Hmm, that's more like it! Then I will ask Gui Mei to escort you and complete the admission process."

She said, thinking of Fu Yue who should be returning from completing the mission assigned to her by the teacher in a day or two.

I slightly nodded. Then we ate breakfast.

After breakfast, I made my way outside.

Where I can see Ghost Douluo waiting for me. I went near him and said, "Senior! Sorry to keep you waiting."

He looked at me and said, "Hmm, we shall depart then."

"Yes" I replied as we sat inside the carriage on our way towards spirit academy.

Sister Nana was gone first as she had her classes to attend to. Teacher also went to the Hall.

As the carriage was making its way towards the spirit academy, I just looked out of the window trying to find something interesting.

After a while, the carriage stopped in front of the gate of spirit academy.

In the entrance gate, the two guards saw the Ghost Douluo and just kneeled on the ground, "We greet the Elder!"

"Guide us to the Dean's office." Said Ghost Douluo in an authoritative tone.

The guards shivered and nodded, "Yes!"

As we made our way towards the Dean's office, many students and teachers saw us stunned by the scene.

Many young girls looked at me with star in their eyes. While they may try to move towards me, they didn't.

Afterall, it takes one to be a fool to study in Spirit academy and not know who Ghost Douluo is.

After just a few minutes, my admission process was done, and I was supposed to walk towards my class.

-"On the left is the teaching area of the academy, which includes various grades, and various kinds of training areas for different types of stimulations. Followed by the martial arts fields and cafeteria, dormitory and finally the Arenas, where you can challenge someone for a match."

Yeah… not alone as the Dean himself was there to guide me to my destination.

Just seeing the one who came which me for the admission process it was not hard for him to tell I was someone important.

Though it did seem like he recognized me as the supreme pontiff's disciple as he himself is showing me around the premise before showing me the way to my class.

Not like it is necessary, as I already know each and every corner and ways of the spirit city leaving a few places of high importance. 

Even I don't believe as I can just spy as I please on people near spirit douluo realm.

Moving forward…

The architectural style of spirit academy generally follows the aristocratic style. Even the teaching building looks exquisite, and the area is also fairly high.

In addition, the teaching environment of the spirit academy is even more ancient. You can find almost all kind of spirit's simulated ecological cultivation environment here.

The elite class is the most outstanding class of the whole spirit academy with having only dozen or so students in it.

Having admitted in the elite class of the spirit academy I have to study with the members of golden generation.

That being said, studying not in the regular classes but in elite class was not what I was told.

But it doesn't change the situation much.

I will still have to deal with some lose ego kids. That too from all ages, as I recall the elite class being a class which contains students of varying ages and social standing.

These students are selected depending on their martial spirits and innate soul power.

-"Did you understand everything young master?"

Said the Dean, though I still don't know why he is acting as a pushover.

Still, I didn't mind his tone and said with a polite smile, "Yes, thank you Sir for showing me around." While cupping my hand into a fist to another hand's palm.

He just laughed a bit and said, "Still, I you ever have any problem. Do not hesitate to look for me."

Then we walked into a three-story building and then he knocked on the door of a large classroom on the first floor.

Followed by a female teacher who came out and saw the us.

"Greetings Sir Dean." Said the woman.

She had light brown hair color followed by same theme eyes and a delicate looking face.

"This is the new student of your class, Fu Xuan, as you should be notified about Miss Jia." said the dean, before going through their own talk on this matter.

After conversing with the dean for a bit she realized that I am the new student she was told of who will join the elite class.

After giving his farewell and introducing me to my supposed home room teacher the dean retreated.

Seeing the Dean leave she squatted down and said, "So you are Her Highnesses new disciple. I have heard about you, and finally got to meet you. I am the home room teacher of elite class; you can call me teacher Jia."

"Sure, I will do so. Teacher Jia." I replied with a soft smile.

After exchanging few pleasantries with my class teacher at the elite class, we got inside.

Coming inside I can see the whole class room. At a glance, the number of students is only 9, of which there are four girls and 5 boys. 

There seem to be some inconsistencies in their age like I had guessed, most of them are 3 years older than me while there were one or two which seemed like not that older.

There I saw Sister Nana sitting in a bench, I just smiled at her seeing her look this way.

She also smiled followed by a wink by her.

Oh boy, is this the same girl who got embarrassed this morning by me catching her spying on me?

Well, this is probably the real her, I remember she was supposed to be a tease.

Behind her I saw two boys namely Xie Yue and Yan, her brother and teammate who were also a part of the golden generation.

When, I entered, the students in the class were surprised. It is not difficult for them to see that I am a new student, but how could it be possible to enter the elite clad directly at the age of six?

Only Sister Nana was not surprised, did she know that I was coming today? Looks like I was the only one who was fooled.

Teacher Jia clapped her hands and said, "This is the new student in our class and a freshman this year. He is Fu Xuan, new disciple of Her Highness also a possessor of twin martial spirit. He will be studying with you guys in the future. Make sure to be nice to him."

They were shocked again, her highness disciple? Twin martial spirit?

Though most of them were surprised a few were jealous while some were acting outright hostile.

Ignoring the various emotions i was sensing through my passive i made my way at an empty bench and took my seat.

At the middle of the class where others were looking at me with varying expressions, I just thought I will certainly attract some trouble.
