Chapter 24 - Evaluation Begins!

Three months have passed since the incident with Ma Xiaotao.

During this period, Mo Xie made great progress in his training and studies. During the first month, Mo Xie focused all of his time on learning about Spirit Tools and improving his sword intent domain. Because of his efforts, Mo Xie managed to blend his Ultimate Ice and Fire elements into his domain and reached the level of small success.

As for array integration, Mo Xie still needed a little more work. His progression in Spirit Tools was also extremely smooth. "Mo Xie, pass these papers on to your colleagues." Zhou Yi commanded in a dry tone.

While Mo Xie handed over the papers, Zhou Yi continued to explain.

"Only those who pass the assessment will be able to continue cultivating at the academy until the exam at the end of the year. After you pass, you will be divided according to your abilities. Write the direction you want for your cultivation and give it to me later."

"As far as your assessment is concerned, it will be a fight in teams of three people. "You must have recognized me by now. My name is Ma Xiaotao and I was the person who attacked you at Sea God Lake. I want to thank you for helping me that day." Ma Xiaotao spoke in a slightly grateful tone. But Mo Xie realized she was trying to keep her expression cold.

"No problem! It was also good training for me and I wasn't hurt, so big sister Xiaotao doesn't have to worry." Mo Xie nodded with a smile. "If that's all, I'll be back now!"

Ma Xiaotao felt her flames, which had signs of getting out of control, calm down and couldn't help but feel happy. It was so much that she couldn't help but hug Mo Xie.

The unexpected turn of events caught Mo Xie off guard and he couldn't help but blush for a moment. Ma Xiaotao had fun seeing this and said: "Little brother Mo Xie, I'll look for you later!"

Ma Xiaotao then flew to the inner courtyard, leaving Mo Xie alone in the forest.

Mo Xie shook his head and went to the Spirit Tools Department.

The next day soon arrived and the evaluation was about to begin.
