chapter 3: This is the new home

A cool breeze was hitting on my face as we move forward in the water, I was standing on the roof with closing my eyes to enjoy this incredible feeling, I already read almost everything in the books about mortals but it's different from how I imagined back in the Underworld

I ignored her and started taking deep breaths, this amazing smell, trees, water, sky this is something else as I completely lost my senses and became one of the living planets

Humans must sleep once in a while because it would help to regain their strength and stamina, also improves their moods the thing that needs the most for me at the moment.

I woke up after good sleep, my gaze falls on the small window, when I take a peek out from that I only saw darkness. My body relaxed looking at the dark forest

I decided to head out heading to get some fresh air but I stopped looking at the blond girl sleeping in corner of the bench, I wonder why she is sleeping on a bench

" you are awake at last " Gabriel came behind me and gazes at Scarlett, he smiled and whispers in my ears

" she gave you her room and decide to sleep outside "

I look at him in confusion I don't know why she chose to sleep outside it's a cold night and rooms were warmer than outside. I went to her and puts my hands on her shoulder, The touch felt soft and warm even my fingers were caressed on her shirt.

she opens her eyes instantly

" Hey ... how was your sleep ?" she said as she started rubbing her eyes

" go to your room girl I don't want you to suffer because of me " I turn away and walks towards Gabriel

she kept staring at me for few moments before leaving

" aren't you lucky bastard, beauty like her suffering for you " Gabriel chucked as he puts hands around my shoulders

I didn't say anything just pulled myself back and started heading towards the rooftop ...

The next morning we came out of the forest and our yacht parked on the shore

there are lots of humans on the wooden and metal platform hatting random stuff.

I gape at everywhere, unable to understand how these weak humans managed to build these big buildings that bigger than our Cerberus

Scarlett stood beside me following my gaze " Don't tell me you didn't see the city before?"

Scarlett startled for few moments as if she thought how could be this guy is so simple... he never saw anything like this where he previously lived his life ... in a Cave?

again she said " so how about we go to our home " as she turned her head back at others

" our home ?"

She looks back at Don and stuttered " I mean... my .. my home "

it's amazing to see the yellow vehicle, except for this noisy music, I wanted to smash this box but I have to control my emotions this is not my realm anymore...

After quite a while I managed to ignore all the noise in the vehicle and occupied myself with a beautiful view of an enormous building out of the window.

I was amazed by seeing various vehicles with different colors, a large building, small shops, where people were walking aimlessly on the streets.

The car stopped in front of the big and beautiful pinkish building.

we came out of the vehicle with the driver, he pulled the big bag from the back trunk. after a while, she bows to that driver after giving money

we both stood gawking at the gate of a large building especially Me

" This is where you live? " I wasn't able to take my eyes off the building, this girl lives on her own in this entire building

Our palace in the Underworld probably the biggest thing I ever saw but this building was also giving the vibe of a strange atmosphere.

We walk past the gate of the building, I expected something or someone guarding this building in a front gate like our Cerberus but surprisingly I don't found any beast or animal only one human wearing a cap.

" who is that guy? " I turn back at that guy after walked past

she said " Joseph .. he is a security guard in our apartment "

this skinny guy is responsible for protecting this entire land maybe he is powerful like another guy ...gaburial..no... Gabriel

I moved behind her to the entrance, there were another 3 guys are standing but they have something else in their belt what they called a gun .. Toy to kill other mortals isn't humans too selfish always wanted to find the power to kill fellow humans

who I am to judge they already have a short life span but still preferred to slay others. However, now I have to careful not to hit by that thing

we entered in the small box where few buttons placed on the switch with big mirrors
