This is a story about a vampire called Elijah. He doesn't know anything about his past or his parents. Follow his struggles throughout the story and find out about his true identity and past.
-Riley- So... this is my place. We are probably safe here. I'll cast a barrier around the house in case anything sudden happens.
-Elijah- Sure.
Riley lived in a small neighbourhood. There weren't that many houses nearby. It was the perfect place for hiding. Riley's place wasn't that big. It had a few bedrooms, a bathroom and a kitchen.
-Riley- Even tho my place isn't that big, it has it's charms. There is a basement where I do my magic stuff, because it's hard to sence the basement from the outside.
-Elijah- What exactly do you do down there?
-Riley- Uh... I just brew some potions for the manager. I work in the magic shop after all.
-Elijah- I see.
-Riley- So, do you want to see what's down there..?
-Elijah- Huh? Oh yeah sure.
Just as Elijah and Riley were about to go down the stairs, the doorbell rang.
-Riley- !!!... That was probably the old man. I'll go check the door. You can wait here.
-Elijah- ..
Riley looked through the peephole. It was the shopkeeper. He looked a bit troubled. As if someone was following him or something.
-Riley- Oh hey! You came.
-The Shopkeeper- Have you put the barrier up yet?
-Riley- Yes. But why the hurry? You look a little tired.
-The Shopkeeper- I used the door. That is why I might look a little tired to you.
-Riley- What!? You used the door?! Didn't I say not to use it?? You can lose all your powers if you use it again even once.
-The Shopkeeper- Do not worry. I have my reasons for opening the door. But enough about the door. Where is the young man?
-Riley- He's in the kitchen. I said to wait there before we go to the basement.
-The Shopkeeper- I see. Well then, let's go.
Riley and the old man walked to the kitchen where Elijah was waiting for them patienty.
-Elijah- What took you so long?
-Riley- Oh, nothing important right now. Anyway, let's go downstairs to the basement. I think the old man has something to tell you.
Everyone walked down the big old stairs. At the end of the stairs, was a big old door. The door had a keyhole in the middle.
Riley took a key out of her pocket. The key had a green colour and an interesting shape. It didn't really look like a key at all. She inserted the key into the keyhole. The door opened suddenly and a strong smell entered the stairs. Tho it seemed like Elijah was the only one to smell it so strongly.
-Elijah- Ugh... what is this smell?!
-Riley- You can smell this?!
-Elijah- Yes? Ugh... what an awful smell.
-Riley- ...
-The Shopkeeper- Enough of that. Let us go inside.
The room was illuminated by the old man's light spell. It was full of dust and old furniture. There were a lot of spider webs hanging from the ceiling. In the middle of the room, was a huge pot.
-Elijah- Is that... ugh... the pot you are using to make the potions?
-Riley- Yes it is. It's pretty, isn't it?
-Elijah- Yeah, sure.
-The Shopkeeper- Young man, I have something important to tell you...
