Don't Touch My Hand Or You Will Die

If only she could turn back time, Zalina Roston would probably use her time to return to that day. One day changed her life when she was 15 years old. Zalina doesn't understand why she is experiencing strange things she never imagined. She doesn't know if this is a curse or a gift she must accept. Zalina can see pieces of a person's future, even death, by touching their hand. When Zalina touched the hand of a man named Jasper Blackmore, she seemed to have hope. It was because the man was different. There is something connected to their past. With Zalina's abilities, their adventure begins. Jasper and Zalina solve several cases that occur around them. Slowly the love between Zalina and Jasper grows, but they are two different beings. *** "You are greedy and cruel, Simon. You have caused wars and destroyed innocent creatures. You must accept the punishment." Simon groaned as he tried to get up, but he didn't have the strength to do it. He could only lay weak and thought it might be time for him to die. He then looked at the older man who was looking at him. With a smirk on his bloodied lips, he said, "Punish. I'm ready to die." "Dead? No. Your punishment is not death but the pain of loss. And when you meet your descendant, they will receive a curse." Simon chuckled at the older man's words. He didn't have anything of value in his life, so why was he afraid of losing? After all, Simon has not and will never love a woman. How could he have descendants? "This is easy." Simon grinned before finally closing his eyes. ** This is my first work in English. 8. Live Hundreds Of Years

Hundreds of years ago, during the full moon.

"What are you doing? You're still giving him life. You didn't carry out my orders."

"I'm sorry, Moon Goddess. I think that's the punishment he deserves for a cruel creature like Simon," someone said, sitting down on their knees.

"I don't know what more damage Simon will do. I've already chosen a partner for him, but he killed her ruthlessly."

"That's why I beg you, make him love a woman so he can feel what it's like to lose someone he loves. I'm sure you can do it, Moon Goddess."

"You've messed up my plans by disobeying my orders."

"Forgive me!"

"Okay, I agree. As you said, Simon will love a woman, but they can't be together. If they can be together, Simon must not meet his children and descendants. I don't know what he will do if he has a child. Will he be able to act cruelly or allow children and descendants to bear your curse?"

"We'll see, Moon Goddess."

"And since you're the one who made this mess, you must also bear the punishment you did."

Jasper laid Zalina on the sofa in his office. Linda came with a glass of water and handed the glass to Jasper.

Jasper knelt beside Zalina. "Zalina, can you hear me? Drink!"

Zalina opened her eyes slowly. She was still trying to catch her breath. Jasper whispered something, but Zalina and Linda couldn't hear it.

"Drink," said Zalina.

"Let me help." Linda approached Zalina to help the girl up, but Jasper refused with a hand signal.

"I'll do it," Jasper said. He then helped Zalina to get up and gave her a drink.

Chelsea arrives and sees a scene of Jasper giving Zalina a drink with an attentive attitude. She felt Jasper was too much, and Zalina didn't deserve it.

"She must have pretended to be unconscious to meet you. I saw her outside, and she's still fine. Don't be fooled by her innocent face, and I know who she is," Chelsea said.

Jasper glanced at Chelsea as he placed the glass on the table.

"Leave us!" Jasper gave the order.

Of course, Chelsea was surprised to hear Jasper's order, and so was Linda. So far, Jasper has never shown any concern for anyone.

"Didn't you hear what I said?" Jasper asked as he stood up, staring intently at the two women.

"Should I call a doctor?" Linda asked.

"Did I ask for it?" Jasper asked again, an annoyed look on his face. "Go out!"

Linda then obeyed her boss' orders, but Chelsea still didn't move from where she was standing. The woman seemed unwilling to leave Jasper alone with Zalina.

"Jasper, I know her. Zalina is a strange woman. Do you know the nicknames people gave her when we were in college? She's a descendant of a witch, a woman who brings death. You'll be unlucky if you get close to her."

Jasper gritted his teeth. The last thing he wanted to do was throw the woman out of his room. Since then, Chelsea has annoyed him.

"Miss Stump, I'm sure you're not deaf. We don't have anything important to talk about anymore, so please come out! I respect you," Jasper said, hoping Chelsea would act more respectfully with her family's big name.

Chelsea looked at Jasper and Zalina, who had been silent for a long time. She gets angry, seeing how Zalina managed to get her out of there. However, she still held back her anger. Chelsea didn't want Jasper to think of her as a classless woman.

"Okay, next time we will meet again. Today I came at the wrong time because there was a bit of a disturbance. All right, Jasper, I'll excuse myself." After saying that, Chelsea stepped out of Jasper's room.

After Chelsea closed the door, Jasper turned back to look at Zalina. He could feel his lips twitching when Zalina was also looking up. They were looking at each other. Now Zalina knows that there is no special relationship between Jasper and Chelsea.

"What do you feel now?" Jasper asked, breaking the silence between them.

"I feel better."

Zalina was surprised because she could recover quickly just by drinking a glass of water. Even though she felt like she was going to die, her neck felt suffocated. There was something in her stomach that was pulling all its contents out. Zalina had never experienced this before.

"I heard you keep insisting you want to see me. What's wrong?"

Zalina thought back to her purpose of coming to see Jasper. She immediately grabbed Jasper's hand, much to the man's surprise.

"Let me touch your hand. I hope you don't take this as harassment," said Zalina.

However, Jasper quickly withdrew his hand and walked away across the sofa. His face was red, either from anger or embarrassment.

"How could I not think of this as harassment? You scared me, and I don't allow anyone to touch me. Now you come and suddenly act weird."

Zalina looked doubtfully at Jasper and sat down uneasily.

"I know I'm weird. You heard what Chelsea said about me earlier. It's used to me. But I'm an ordinary girl like everyone else, and I'm just different."

Zalina didn't see any reaction from Jasper, and the man just stared at her. A faint red blush adorned Zalina's pale face because Jasper didn't respond to her words either.

"Aren't you curious about what makes me different, Mr. Jasper Blackmore?" Zalina asked, amidst her embarrassment.

Jasper blinked when Zalina said his full name, snapping him out of the shadows of the past. There was a shock of emotion when he saw the girl was annoying to him.

"I don't care about that, Zalina. I don't think it's anything important to me. I'm quite disappointed because I thought you came to give me an advantage."

Zalina had already imagined that Jasper would reject her. However, she didn't want to stop trying.

"Sorry if I let you down. I came because I wanted to be able to live my life normally like other girls."

The woman looked down, and it was clear that she was sad that Jasper had rejected her. Surprisingly, Jasper couldn't stand to see Zalina sad. He felt a strong urge to approach the woman, give her peace, and hug her.

"What do you expect from me? Tell me!" Jasper asked.

Zalina stood up and walked over to Jasper. She seemed to have hope.

"Perhaps you remember the incident two years ago when I was trying to prevent a man from dying. People think of me as a bearer of death. If I touch their hand, I can see what will happen to them."

"Then what does that have to do with me?"

Zalina approached Jasper and touched the man's hand again.

"When you touched me, I didn't see anything from you. And now it's the same, and I don't see anything."

"So?"

"So, I believe you are the one who will free me from the abilities that I have. I've been in so much pain all this time. Please help me, Jasper. Stay close to me until this curse disappears!"

Jasper was astonished, but not because Zalina's confession about her was different. But Jasper was surprised because his heart was beating faster. The power of Zalina's eyes was so incredible that it shattered the recesses of his heart.

In all his life, Jasper had never felt such a strange wave. Not even after he had lived for hundreds of years.
