The wealthy Bathist family has long been acquainted with the Hammond family, occasionally collaborating but more often than not at odds.
Last week, it was Christina who caused him to lose an important commission contest, and it was due to Enon's personal defeat that Viscount Charles Hammond, seeing these two people together, gritted his teeth with hatred.
"It really infuriates me. If he blabbers a few more words, I'll have Enon take action, and worst comes to worst, we'll both end up sitting in jail for a few days."
Christina, thinking back on it, still felt a surge of anger and stamped her foot.
On the other hand, Enon seemed quite calm.
"The few words I hurled at him were pretty mild!"
Sometimes, even Christina had a temper to reckon with. She retorted on the spot on Enon's behalf, giving no face to Viscount Hammond, an elder of the nobility.
Later, after returning home, Christina noticed a change in Enon, and upon closer inspection, saw that she had put on a head ornament.
