Growing up

During these five years, Rai's body developed relatively quickly. Being taller than the average five-year-old boy, standing 4'0". He has black hair with a bang going across his face more in his right eye than the left eye and slim teal eyes.

Already indications of him being a handsome man in the future.

Today, Rai was going to a local sports club for children, elementary to middle school students. His family's personal chauffeur drove him to the club after getting his parent's permission, more importantly supervising him.

His parents didn't object to his interest in going to the club, knowing their son has a thing for basketball.

Technically, it would be his first time playing basketball with someone in this life.

The sports club was a convenient and practical way for him to practice his skills with other people.

It had multiple courts, with basketballs and hoops of various sizes. Making Rai feel satisfied with this place where he would play basketball for the next few years. On the other hand, it was really expensive but fortunately, he had a good enough family in this life.

Rai also started a habit of always carrying a basketball in his hands as long as it's not convenient. Dribbling every time he went out for a walk. Greatly improving his ball handling.

He also participated in games that some adults occasionally organized for the children. Which he greatly dominated with both of his talents being too much for others to handle. Even if he didn't have those talents in this life, just his experience from his last life would have been enough.

He had already learned the essential skills a basketball player needs to learn in his last life. So most of the time he only focused on improving the existing skills that he could with his current size.

Unknowingly time passed, with him already attending elementary school. Although he was obsessed with basketball, he still made sure to not neglect his studies, without much effort as he was in elementary school.

That was the reason his parents didn't mind if he had any demands regarding his daily life.

Years passed, with him mostly playing at the club, not having much to do at school, as sports at the elementary school level didn't have much depth to them.

Nor did it give Rai any pleasure winning against students there. On the other hand, the sports club had older children he could play against.

Even then most of them weren't solely focused on basketball, sometimes playing football or other sports. So in the end, only a few kids could play with him most of the time.

On the other hand, he also started doing light workouts for his body, which was constantly developing over the years.

He constantly did basketball drills for footwork, passing, shooting, and ball handling.

He put the defense training on hold because he didn't have suitable targets for that.

Additionally, his talent [Explosive Physique] too started to show its effect, greatly influencing his development.

His height was above average, and with that came the explosive strength and rapid diving power. Adding that with superhuman reaction time and speed that came with [God-Speed Impulse]. In court, he was a force to be reckoned with.

Rai had an easier time getting used to [God-Speed Impulse] because even in his last life he had a very high reaction time and speed. Though not as ridiculous as right now.

He also made a surprising discovery, that the [God-Speed Impulse] was only limited by his physique. The more strong his physique was, the stronger [God-Speed Impulse].

Making [Explosive Physique] and [God-Speed Impulse] greatly complement each other. This discovery further convinced him to train his body. Increasing the amount of workout he did for body.

His body also recovered quicker than your average person, one of the perks of [Explosive Physique]. Making his training and practice hours much longer.

During these years, he also started to follow professional basketball in this world, specifically NBA.

He was always curious since his childhood in this life, what type of strength, abilities, and talents would the NBA players in this world would process.

And he was not disappointed, the strengths and skills they had easily surpassed that of Generation Of Miracles.

Of course, that was not to say that the Generation Of Miracles had weaker abilities, it only meant they weren't as developed as those players had.

Looking at those players, standing at the very summit of basketball in this world. Rai felt endless greed brewing in his mind. He wanted to stand there, and dominate the sport of basketball.

With this new desire burning in his chest, time passed, and before long Rai turned 12 years old. Meaning it was time for him to enroll in Junior High school.

That also marked the beginning of his basketball journey.
