Chapter 281

Samuel pulled the metal spear from his ring and joined the fight. Appearing beside a young man with a cocky look on his face.

As a pitch black plague mask materialised on his face along with EG1 and EG2, his spear pierced the neck of the young man.

''You can…''

The man couldn't finish his words, and just like that a small talent died.

Samuel fluidly pulled the bag from his waist before swinging the spear in a beautiful arc decapitating half a dozen weak warriors in its wake.

While the massacres continued, the 10 figures at the front of the swarm were discussing something.

Their bodies were covered by a faint Spiritual mist making them unperceivable by others. Even their voices were obscured coming out as ethereal and genderless.

''What an interesting design. Who would've thought that the way to get to the inheritance is only through a path of blood.''

One of the ethereal figures spoke.

''Well it is to be expected if it's from the BloodCult like we suspect. Only they can be so crazy as to want the deaths of an entire planes warriors.''

Another figure replied.

''Well just ensure the health of your disciples, don't care about the others.''

A slight sigh came out from another blur of mist, and he turned to speak slowly towards the thousands of powerhouses that lead the group.

As for why they didn't stop the fighting? Because they had long since realised how to get past the first part.

Under the oblivious eyes of the millions of warriors fighting, whenever a corpse would fall, a small stream of blood would flow and sink into the cloud below their feet.

Slowly but surely you could see the interior of the cloud filling up from the base, turning into a waterbloon of blood.

Normally such a situation would be obvious, but the warriors seemed to enter a violent state. They showed only greed and rage as they attacked those around them.

Thousands of people died in minutes, but seemingly anyone above Rank 4 didn't participate.

From the leading figures in the group, they removed anyone that was a valuable resource to their force. And all the Rank 4 Warriors are considered an elite in any family.

As for the weaker warriors of Rank 3 and below? Well they didn't stand a chance. Regardless of their original value, in the face of a Rank 9 powerhouses inheritance they are nothing.

A single speck of a Rank 9 Powerhouses lifetime inheritance is enough for these organisations to replace the warriors.

After all, across the entire Endless Battlefield Rank 2 Warriors are as common as grains of sand on a beach.

But for Samuel, even under the violent state, this was a chance to amass an incredible amount of wealth.

The amount of warriors that died under his and his guards had reached the hundreds now. Which means a hundred Space Backpacks or cloth bags in his pockets.

Even the descendants of wealthy families that were separated from their guardians died under Samuels weapons!

The wealth in his bag was comparable to what the Citadel had, easily!

And it continued to grow! Samuel vanished and reappeared constantly killing warriors wherever he walked.

Around his spear rings of light appeared as his body flashed forward. Behind him a trail of destruction was left.

However Samuels excellence trained over decades was shown now, like a skewered kebab at least twenty Space backpacks where impaled!

With a flash they vanished into Samuels space ring.

These massacres continued for over half an hour. The death toll easily reached a million.

But finally everyone noticed that the white cloud below turned into a deep pool of red blood.

''Haha it's finally done!''

As everyone heard a bellow from the leading forces. And just as everyone was awoken from their violent stupor, they felt their feet sinking.

Samuel slowly disappeared into the sea of blood.

When he finally reappeared, Samuel awoke to see a set of blood red stairs.

They seemed to twist and turn as they spiralled into the sky.

Samuel stepped onto the steps and felt an incredible pressure. But there was no one else to be seen so he continued to walk up the steps.

However when he reached the first step he suddenly heard a demonic whisper in his head.

''Blood!''

''Kill them''

''Jejeje''

Sickening laughs kept echoing in Samuels head. He felt a trace of violence appear in his thoughts, but his strong soul blocked it out quickly.

''No! Keep going.''

Samuel gritted his teeth. From the strange start to this inheritance he realised that the owner of this world is by no means a nice person.

But it is undeniable that the treasure of a Rank 9 Powerhouse is incredibly valuable to Samuel. If he gets it, he might be able to double his family rating in an instant!!

While Samuel slowly ascended the stairs, in another strange space an Dog of War bearing a Brocade Guard Uniform cautiously stepped onto the stairs.

But clearly this Dog of Wars Mental State was as good as Samuels. Instantly the addictive and violent words in his head got to him. The man's eyes turned blood red as a ferocious smile appeared on his face.

His hand drew a short sword from the scabbard on his waist as he fought the air in front of him.

However the battle against nothing didn't last long. His short sword bent at a strange angle as if fighting against an invisible person, but the angle caused the short sword to plummet painfully into the heart of the man.

After a mournful cry the Guard dropped dead on the floor, and the armour vanished with a flash of light.

But the corpse wasn't spared. The blood trickling out slowly poured into the step below.

On another side, an older Dog of War that has experienced close to a century of battles on the Eternal Battlefield before becoming a Brocade Guard easily resisted the first wave of attraction.

He began to march up the stairs. Luckily, regardless of the massive amount of steps the increase in difficulty is quite small.

Creation is hard, cheer me up!
