Of course a normal Rank 2 Warrior wouldn't waste their life, and practice time doing this. But Samuel didn't have to worry. He practised while he was learning!

And his practice speed was rapidly increasing. The number of Dogs of War under his command rose once again during these three years, he summoned hundreds more and thousands were born.

Over 30 Middle Rank 1 Warriors were promoted, and Samuel welcomed the promotion of 2 more High Rank 1 Warriors!

Unlike the first ones to be promoted, these two High Rank 1 Warriors were just ordinary 1 Inch Spiritual Root warriors.

They got lucky on the Eternal Battlefield, and the squads they led found a pond of Spiritual Liquid and a couple of Spiritual Fruits. So after stacking up with energy they broke through to the High Rank 1!

In the Caterpillar Isles, 8 Middle Rank 1 Warriors appeared among the dogs of War.

And Caterpillar Samuel now has 10 High Rank 1 Jade warriors, over a hundred Middle Rank 1s and easily over five thousand Low Rank 1s.

The massive amount of resources delivered each month from the statues has heavily supported the growth of the younger generation, especially helping them avoid the defects from the bloodline and the poor spiritual energy in the air.

So Samuel believed that when these grew up there would definitely be dozens more Middle Rank 1 Soldiers each year.

Samuel, confident about his growing strength, organised the next step of his plan. He was going to explore the next section of the ancient tomb he found many years ago.

There was the aura of a Low Rank 2 Warrior in there, and originally Samuel was terrified.

However now there are 3 Rank 2 Warriors who can participate in the battle if it is in the Eternal Battlefield.

Not to mention there are close to 15 High Rank 1 Warriors and hundreds of Middle Rank 1 Warriors who can join! Even if it's just for support.

So Samuel quickly arranged it. Him and EG1 lead the way, followed closely by SS1, SS2, SS3, A1001 and the two other high rank 1 Warriors.

Behind them were 30 Middle Rank 1 Warriors each holding heavy bows.

As for Low Rank 1 Warriors, they weren't qualified to take part.

Soon Samuel met up with his clone outside of the tomb. Seeing a familiar face in front of him Samuel felt a little strange, but then Caterpillar Samuel summoned out the legion of Statues.

And Samuels couldn't help feeling slightly jealous of his clone.

However they soon walked through the familiar hallway, saw a familiar wreckage caused by the death of the gargoyles and the familiar three tombs, all fully looted.

But looking at the three corpses in the coffins, Samuel slapped himself lightly. Why didn't he take them away!

However they will make good Clone Material next time he occupies a plane. So he quickly stored them away in his Space ring.

Then he pushed open the large doors and entered the unknown.

Behind the huge tomb, a giant tauren stood towering above the ground. OVer a hundred metres in height carrying a heavy hammer in his hand.

A golden ring in its nose glowed with energy, as it formed a shield around his head.

This beast actually had an Artifact in its nose!

However it wasn't a beast to peacefully talk this out. Immediately it charged forward, angrily screaming at the invaders.

The Dogs of War hurriedly pulled out their bows and shot heavy arrows. As Samuel flew in to the air and swiped down heavily at it's arms.

A streak of blood appeared and the drops fell heavily to the ground. But the tauren wasn't to be defeated. An earring on its ear glowed red and a flame appeared around its fist as it smashed towards Samuel.

Samuel only felt a piercing flaming pain as his wrists scorched black. Samuel hurriedly retreated allowing Caterpillar Samuel to phase out and phase in using his incredible speed.

The Arrows continued to rain down on the beast, even the jade statues found jade bows from god knows where and hurriedly fired arrows forged from Spiritual energy repeatedly.

With very little damage on the tauren the arrows seemed to be deflected by its great reserves of Spiritual Energy. But each shot would slowly exhaust the beast.

With hundreds of arrows firing at it, and three Rank 2 Warriors besieging it, the tauren slowly lost its senses. It's body was starting to show signs of exhaustion, especially when it consumed energy to activate it's artifacts.

Suddenly EG1 pulled out his blood red sword. Immediately the air began to converge on his body.

A slight cut on the body of the Tauren, and a stream of blood like a writhing snake appeared, being dragged slowly towards the sword.

Soon after the blood touched the blade, EG1 sliced out his weapon, and a bright red glow shot out heading towards the shield protecting the Taurens head.

With an earth shattering crash, a crack appeared across the entirety of the shield before it cracked into pieces.

But the blood blade didn't stop, since EG1 became a Rank 2 it got even stronger. The blade cut directly towards the eyes of the Tauren, separating his brain from his body.

With a crash the Tauren tumbled down, finally succumbing to the siege.

And while his team dealt with the body of the Tauren, Samuel held a constant look of indifference.

Even after killing his first Rank 2 beast his main body showed no emotion, no changes. As if it was just an ant to be squashed.

On the contrary, Caterpillar Samuel immediately burst out into excited laughter. A bloodthirsty smile appeared on his face. Not at all caring that he lost 5 High Rank 1 Statues today.

Yes the losses weren't low, but the corpse was valuable, not to mention the next room holds the treasures.
