Chapter 102

After all the Sons of Luck that Samuel came across are all sole fighters, and although their strength is better than others at the same level when they are against multiple people they eventually lose.

This is also why one of the most feared Sons of Luck in Samuels eyes is definitely one that follows the Summoning Stream. But so far none has popped up.

Even Marcus is just another individual strength Warrior. Unfortunately Samuel has no choice but to give Marcus some time for growth. Because he learnt some terrifying news over the last year.

Abigail broke through to Rank 2! Ensuring that Marcus will definitely have at least 10 years of practice time!

However his focus was on this Organisation War. If he won, the Pups of War would usher in a rapid development. Including the occupation of the Misfits compound.

Currently the Pups of War are operating out of a small closed community rather than a proper Compound. Same with the Wolves of War.

However the Misfits Compound is still the size of a large town! Easily enough for the Pups of War to work out when they win.

Luckily the numbers were still on the Pups of Wars side. After two hours of fighting and another three deaths, the Misfits were starting to get tired. And their combat power dropped.

The Dogs of War killed two of them over this time and there were multiple injured.

But then a sickening cry flew into the air. The First Middle Rank 1 Misfit was slain! But the death was not a great thing for Samuel.

Because he could see a Pup of War impaled on a large wooden stick, however he held a knife through the throat of a Misfit who was missing an Eye!

Their bodies fell uniformly to the ground.

It seemed to flip a switch with the Misfits, and they hurriedly pulled out all the stops. Suicide attacks, joint deaths, poison gas strapped to their bodies.

All sorts of bizarre methods popped out, and numbers on each side dropped rapidly. Slowly the Pups of War dropped to 20, and all the Misfits were slain. Only the old man stood drenched in blood with three Middle Rank 1 Warriors surrounding him.

''Haha it was a good battle, I would like to see how you maintain our territory with these remaining members.'' The old man glanced around mockingly. Although he lost he wasn't upset.

Because he killed just as many Pups of War and disabled many of the remaining 20.

And the battle ended with a sword piercing through the head of the Old man.

Unfortunately he didn't know until his death that this was only half of the forces that the Pups of War possessed.

So for the following week after winning the battle. The Pups of War worked recklessly, occupying the businesses, the compound and the properties of the Misfits!

Even Samuel had to sigh when he saw how much territory they owned. The houses alone were worth hundreds of millions of credits.

But it also made Samuel sigh when he thought how large this city was. With a hundred million occupants, it was easily as large as the United Kingdom. And this was just one city!

However the exciting part came when the Pups of War looted the treasury of the Misfits.

Pushing open the large oak doors, the Middle Rank 1 Warrior first saw a large pile of Spiritual Crystals. 450!

And then came the Pseudo-Artifacts, there were easily 70! And there were even three artifacts.

One of which was familiar to Samuel, it was the Rejuvenation Watch earnt from the Racial War. The other was a pendant built to assist practice speed. And the last was actually a Blood red sword.

The only one that caught Samuels attention was the Blood Red Sword. Why? Because it was a Middle Mortal Artifact!

While the other two Artifacts were left for the Pups of War, the sword was delivered directly to Samuel.

''Interesting.'' Samuel muttered as he ran his fingers across the base of the blade.

Inside his head countless whispers echoed, like a myriad of souls organising an orchestra.

However Samuel ignored them and focused on the origin of these voices. The Sword.

After getting in contact with it, he finally learnt why the old man lost an arm. It wasn't in a fight, it was self-inflicted.

Because this sword slowly deteriorates the souls of those who carry it! Even Samuel felt that if he held it for multiple years he would go crazy and harm himself too!

But its power was definitely commendable. Samuel handed it to EG1 and fought him, EG1 lost after 200 Rounds, directly doubling how long he ordinarily lasted!

As for worries that EG1 will self-harm? Samuels orders are a certainty, he only needed to order him not to listen and it won't affect him!

Not only were there a lot of Pseudo-Artifacts, and resources inside the treasury.

Samuel found 20L of Spiritual Liquid, enough for around 50 Pups of War to bathe in.

Unfortunately Samuel doesn't have the financial capabilities to buy Spiritual Liquid from exterior sources. One litre of it is worth a Spiritual Crystal!

So the Pups of War and Wolves of War have gone without it for the past dozen years. The Middle Rank 1 Warriors were all promoted through Spiritual Fruits and luck.

But with this 50 Litres it should at least add one or two more Middle Rank 1 Warriors for the Pups of War.

Samuel watched the division of resources with Satisfaction. 350 of the Spiritual Crystals were used to summon 1 Inch Spiritual Root Dogs of War for the Pups of War.

This solidified the numbers of Warriors and allowed them to easily reoccupy the territory of the Misfits.

And from then on, the organisations in FieldView city knew another competitor has appeared, the Pups of War.

However Samuel, who was still in the Eternal Battlefield, returned home with a small harvest of three Middle Rank 1 beast corpses and some basic scraps found around the battlefield.

A typical Harvest.
