Huge Announcement - Season 17

Hi all, I hope all is well, here is where you will find news regarding Season 17 of Doctor Who, as well as the 60th Anniversary Special.

You will not receive updates of the 60th Anniversary Mini-Series, nor will the episodes be published here on Season 17, this is just for Season 17 and the 60th Anniversary Special.

As previously announced, Connor Swindells will take over as the newest incarnation of The Doctor!

Aiysha Hart will remain, playing the role of Kathy Yates.

But I am thrilled to finally be able to announce that there will be two more companions joining her.

Firstly, I would like to announce Hetti Bywater, playing the role of Kristen Wright, a young and vibrant girl, but very lonely, with not many friends. Her world is suddenly changed, when The Doctor crashes nearby to where she is staying, forming a friendly bond with Kathy.

Secondly, I would like to announce, Isaac Hempstead Wright, playing the role of Sharrel, a man from another planet who joins The Doctor and his companions far later into the season, he starts to realise that he wants to travel the stars, and is offered a place onboard The Tardis.

Next, I want to reveal some stuff we have done for Season 17.

First of all, we've had over a year to plan and write Season 17, and with that in mind, we took our time in perfecting an era for Connor Swindells incarnation of The Doctor.

Season 17 has also been shortened to 8 episodes, and a festive special, totaling in 9 episodes of Doctor Who a year, but the episodes will be longer.

Season 17 is much more detailed, and the layout for the stories has been planned over months.
