Episode 6 - Finale - The Last Battle of The Universe

The Tardis materialises onto a planet.

The 14th Doctor runs out of the Tardis.

A massive explosion goes off in the distance.

Kathy then runs out of the Tardis and says "what's going on?" The Doctor says "it can't be!".

Another explosion goes off.

Kathy says "what is it?" The Doctor says "we're in the last ever battle of the Universe!".

As more explosions go off, Kathy looks at The Doctor "what's happening? I thought we were going to get more help?" The Doctor says "we are, but this...this is history, the last ever war the universe will ever see" Kathy stares at The Doctor "no, this seems too dangerous" The Doctor smiles "just five minutes, and then we'll go-".

Suddenly, a massive flashbang goes off, blinding The Doctor and Kathy.

Screaming is then heard.

As The Doctor looks around, he then sees Kathy being dragged away by a creature that he can't see.

The Doctor shouts "NO! KATHY!".

The Doctor is then hit around the head with a bat.

Grunting is heard, The Doctor opens his eyes and he sees a woman in the distance sharpening a sword.

The Doctor looks at the woman's face, but it's blurry.

The Doctor then passes out.

Later on, The Doctor sits up and he says "oh, wait...Kathy!".

The Doctor gets up until a woman says "oh, Kathy...Kathy! That's all you keep saying".

The Doctor then turns around, and he lays his eyes upon River Song.

The Doctor smiles "oh-".

River nods at him "oh?" The Doctor says "um, nice to meet you" River nods "yeah, sure...what are you doing here? You realise that you're in the middle of one of the most dangerous wars in the universe?" The Doctor nods at her "yeah, why are you here?" River smiles at him "I was on a date...the last date with my husband at The Singing Towers of Darillium, he got called away, so he let me choose a destination, and of course, I was going to choose this war. But anyway, he should be back soon, hopefully" The Doctor nods at her "course, I remember. Um, River?" River looks at him and says "yes?" The Doctor looks at her and he smiles "hello sweetie" River then sighs "oh come on, again? Which one are you?" The Doctor says "I don't even remember anymore" River sighs "and I suppose Kathy is-" The Doctor nods "my friend, she's been travelling with me" River nods at him "well, I suppose we better go and find her".

River picks up her sword.

Kathy sits in a chair that's hooked up to a red pod.

Kathy looks around nervously and says "hello? I don't know what's happening but I'm willing to talk".

A Zygon then walks over, a red-looking creature covered in slime and suckers all over its body.

The Zygon says "talk? You don't know us very well then do you?" Kathy stares in shock "what are you?" The Zygon says "we are The Zygons, you register as human! The last human" Kathy says "last?" The Zygon snarls "Earth was destroyed at the very beginning of this war".

The Zygon presses a button on the pod and then shrieks "Artron Energy detected! That of a Tardis! You are an associate of The Doctors!" Kathy stares in shock.

The Zygon nods and says "you will be useful!".

Kathy says "how?".

The Zygon then starts to transform.

Kathy stares in shock as The Zygon turns into Kathy.

Kathy says "but how?" Zygon-Kathy smiles "power, beyond your imagination".

Along the battlefield, The Doctor and River walk together.

Explosions go off behind them.

Ships fly through the sky behind them.

Slitheen swings their claws and Sontarans shoot their guns.

The Doctor then finds the Tardis and says "we're getting closer" River nods at him "and ideas what might have taken her?" The Doctor shakes his head "I can't remember".

Kathy then runs out from behind a cave.

The Doctor smiles "KATHY!".

Kathy runs over "Doctor, it was The Zygons! They took me, they changed into me, they literally looked like me" River looks at her. The Doctor says "what happened to the one that looked like you?" Kathy smiles "you know me, fought them off, can we get outta here?" The Doctor says "sure".

The Doctor looks at River and he then looks back at Kathy "stay here with your sister, I'll go get the Tardis".

Kathy smiles at River and nods "sure thing-" The Doctor smiles at Kathy and says "gotcha!".

Zygon-Kathy says "what?" The Doctor says "she isn't your sister, and you're not Kathy! I mean, come on, do your research next time" Zygon-Kathy stares at The Doctor and says "now what?" The Doctor says "where's Kathy?" Zygon-Kathy smiles "in our Zygon headquarters!".

A laser then hits Zygon-Kathy.

Zygon-Kathy falls to the floor screaming.

The Doctor stares in shock "I'm sorry".

Zygon-Kathy's eyes then close.

River looks at The Doctor "over here, there's a cave!".

The Doctor aims his Sonic flashlight down the cave as he and River, walk through it.

The Doctor looks at River "how are you doing anyway?" River says "what do you mean?" The Doctor says "River, there's no easy way of saying...but you know you're gonna die soon, how are you?" River smiles "sometimes I think about it, I always think about it...always have, since the first day you gave me my journal" The Doctor nods at her. River says "this one journey, this was for me, I didn't need a page in the journal, because it was for me, not us" The Doctor nods at her.

The Doctor then says "here we go, I see a light".

The Doctor and River step out into a massive room with loads of pods.

The Doctor then sees Kathy and he smiles "KATHY!".

Kathy smiles "Doctor, oh thank you".

The Doctor helps Kathy out of her pod.

Kathy says "Doctor, there was this thing...covered in suckers. A Zygon?" The Doctor nods at her "yeah, we saw it".

Kathy looks at River and says "hi?".

River smiles "hello, I'm Professor River Song" Kathy nods "and you know The Doctor?" River nods at her "yes, I'm his wife" Kathy nods "oh, right...he's never mentioned you" River looks at The Doctor "not once?" The Doctor stares at her "to be fair, I've been a little busy".

Suddenly, a Zygon then says "Doctor!".

The Doctor smiles "well, hello there, I met one of you a moment ago, afraid to say, they're now dead whoever it was" the Zygon says "the commander's death will not be forgotten, but I will become the new commander of the Zygons!".

The Doctor says "yeah, well...either way, we're leaving".

The Zygon says "you will not leave, I will kill The Doctor!" The Doctor says "no you will not, I don't plan on dying any time soon" Kathy looks at The Doctor.

More Zygons start to appear around them.

The Doctor then says "River, how many of them do you think you can take?" River smiles at him "you're giving me permission to fight?" The Doctor says "I don't see any other way through it" River smiles "I'm loving this version of you, and you know me...I can take them all sweetie!".

Kathy looks at River "all of them?" River winks at her "oh...just watch me".

River then swings her sword.

All the Zygons start running towards River.

The Doctor and Kathy stand at the back of the room as maroon-coloured blood splatters everywhere.

The Zygon commander then falls to the floor dead.

River smiles and says "done, come on then".

Back outside, The Doctor looks at the devastation on the planet as smoke covers everywhere.

The Doctor holds Kathy's hand and says "come on, we need to find the Tardis".

Sontarans march down the battlefield.

The Doctor then says "duck!".

River and Kathy duck down behind a rock.

Kathy looks at River and says "so...married? How? Doesn't he change his face? Isn't that a little weird to you?" River shakes her head "well, sometimes...sometimes it's like the lottery, sometimes I win big...sometimes...well, sometimes it's just a face" Kathy smiles at her.

The Doctor says "right, we need to go around, there's Sontarans to the left, so we head right and we should be okay" Kathy says "is the right safe?".

The Doctor looks over to the right and he nods "yeah-".

Suddenly, Ice Warriors start marching down the right side of the battlefield.

The Doctor sighs and says "not anymore, Ice Warriors".

River says "we'll have to just run for it then" Kathy says "or, I'm open to other suggestions" River smiles at her "we don't have any other suggestions, there isn't another way, we run or we-".

The Doctor says "actually, there is another idea, a little dangerous though" River smiles "you know me, sweetie, I love danger" The Doctor says "we run through the middle of the battlefield, and the Ice Warriors and Sontarans will fight each other, we just have to make sure we don't get shot" Kathy stares at him and says "oh yeah, a great plan, don't get shot" River says "he's right, it's the only plan we have".

Kathy says "who's going first then?".

A Sontaran looks around and sees River Song.

Behind her is The Doctor, and then Kathy.

The Sontaran shouts "SIR!".

Another Sontaran turns around and says "well, The Doctor, our greatest enemy-".

The Sontaran then sees The Ice Warriors and says "Ice Warriors! ATTACK!".

The Ice Warriors turn around and shout "SONTARANS! KILL THEM!".

Suddenly, The Ice Warriors and The Sontarans open fire at each other.

The Doctor, Kathy, and River dodge the gunfire.

Kathy says "how much further?" The Doctor says "not long, come on".

Sontarans fall to the floor dead.

Ice Warriors also fall to the floor dead.

River then climbs onto a hill, helping The Doctor and Kathy up.

The three of them run over the hill, and in the distance is the Tardis.

Later on, Kathy walks over to the Tardis and smiles "I've never been so glad to see the Tardis".

River smiles at her.

The Doctor unlocks the Tardis and he says "head in, I'll be with you in a second".

Kathy smiles and waves at River "thank you, see you" River nods "bye".

Kathy enters the Tardis.

The Doctor then looks at River and smiles "well, another one done, another page in your diary" River smiles "I told you, this one was for me, anyway, I'll probably be here another few hours, fighting off whatever I can find" The Doctor says "for the last time?" River stares at him "yeah, well...nobody gets to choose when they die, I've had a nice life" The Doctor then puts his hand into his pocket and pulls out a vortex manipulator, and says "yeah, except...I've had a lot of time to think it through, a lot of time to plan-" River stares at him "what are you saying?" The Doctor hands over the vortex manipulator and says "I modified it, it can also travel in time" River smiles "a time-vortex manipulator?" The Doctor nods and says "oh, and this-".

The Doctor pulls a diary out of his pocket and smiles "as you said, you need some adventures for you, now you can have a diary for yourself" River stares at him "but this is my last stop, the singing towers?" The Doctor nods "and now you have the ability to travel in time, you can travel for hundreds of years and be back here a second later, it's up to you, you have that choice, I don't wanna know what you choose to do, but you have that option, and with that option, I have the chance to see you again, so...till the next time, River Song...hopefully" River smiles at him "goodbye, sweetie".

The Doctor enters the Tardis and he smiles at Kathy.

Kathy says "how's the wife?" The Doctor rolls his eyes and says "don't start" Kathy laughs "come on, I wanna know everything" The Doctor says "trust me, it's a long story...and I'm talking long" Kathy smiles "how'd you meet?" The Doctor says "I met her when she died" Kathy stares at him and says "yeah, alright, you can already stop...sounds fun?" The Doctor smiles "anyway, time to find The Unknown, no more stops this time!".

Outside, River watches the Tardis dematerialise.

River holds her new diary and the time-vortex manipulator and she says to herself "well, I suppose a couple of trips wouldn't hurt anyone".

River smiles and she watches the Tardis vanish "till the next time, sweetie".
