Mu Hanxia shook her head.

"Unpleasant?"

Mu Hanxia glared at him.

He laughed.

Mu Hanxia: "What's so funny?"

"Nothing." he said slowly, "I just thought you'd be very lively at an event like this."

Mu Hanxia looked into his eyes, which seemed less bright than usual, and suddenly realized that he might be a little drunk. For some reason, her mood suddenly improved. She uttered a light "hmph," picked up her juice, and drank quietly beside him. He didn't say anything either, slightly closing his eyes as they both listened to someone else singing.

After a while, his phone rang, barely audible amidst the noisy music.

He answered, "Hmm...you're in Beijing? I'm out with the people from the company. Okay, I'll send you the address."

After he hung up the phone, it wasn't long before he signaled to an employee: "Xiao Wang, go to the entrance to receive someone."

"Boss, who are we picking up?"

"Cheng Weiwei. She heard we're celebrating and wanted to come over."
