The dinner event organized by the manager was not far from the office, located by the river. Mu Hanxia had never been there before, but she heard it was a very high-class club.

At dusk, Mu Hanxia arrived. The lights along the riverbank were just beginning to glow, and the club's courtyard was quiet and elegant, with winding branches.

Mu Hanxia thought she was the first to arrive and gently pushed open the private room door, only to find someone was already sitting inside.

Meng Gang was seated by the window, smoking. He was dressed in a white Polo shirt and black pants today, with a simple and sharp outline. He looked at her, his eyes slightly narrowed.

Mu Hanxia's heart skipped a beat, but she smiled, "Hello, Manager Meng."

"Hmm."

Mu Hanxia found a chair to sit down. The room was a bit too quiet, Meng Gang silently smoked while Mu Hanxia kept to herself, eyes downcast.
