Womb cancer…at 16 she had half of her womb removed… Thats the reason behind her hiding the pregnancy for so long…
After a long day at work I rushed over to the chemist to pick up the vitamins she’s been asking for, I decided to keep on pretending like I knew nothing about her medical history. I arrived at her art studio where I would find her half-asleep on the desk where she did her finances or be seated in the studio where most of her projects were made.
“ at least your awake today, ” I say placing an ice tea on her desk.
She smiles, packing up the papers around her. “ I survive on 2hours of sleep you know.”
“take it easy okay, I understand how vicious this industry is. But cautious when it comes to your health.”
“ Hmm, let's go home, mummy sent home some of your favorite dishes earlier, and I’m starving.”
