Chapter 8: April's Wedding Preparation

It's a sunny Friday in the United Kingdom, April and Brighto are seen preparing for their big ceremony on Sunday. The joy in April's face was extremely contagious, her hearts skipped giving a refreshing chilly sensation.

April,

“My little junior, I love you …I have waited so much for this day ," she smiled looking deep into the eye of her cute little baby, Caleb.

Baby Caleb smiles in great excitement as he fixes his gaze on his mom.

April stands up, reaches out for her jewelry box; in a quest to sort them out in preparation for her wedding..

Casually, she cleaned out the jewelry but in the process, she stumbled upon a particular jewelry that was extremely dear to her since her early marriage life with Roman in the past.

April,

“Wow!,”

she expressed as she walked slowly to the bed , seated, holding the necklace. She gave it a warm cuddle as her mind instantly flashed back to her first love ,Roman .

April,

“Roman was such a nice soul," she said to herself .

“But…., unfortunately , we weren't destined to be together, hmm but come to think of it, how come I gave birth to Roman’s replica.”

“I mean …my baby totally resembles him, " she said as she confirmed it with her baby at the spot.

Staring at Caleb, she spreads out the necklace showing baby junior.

Innocently, Caleb reaches out for it, hmm… it seems he likes it, indeed the connection was really real.

April,

“Junior….., you like it..?”.

He nodded playfully

The necklace looked colorful and appealing to his eyes, but that wasn't all. Somehow , Caleb knew that the necklace was connected to him in a way.

April explained,

Looking so serious as if baby junior could hear and understand her.

“ This here was given to me by your father on our very wedding night.”

She pauses for a moment,then continues..

“It was such a beautiful thing to behold on our very wedding night and even up to this moment it's impact hasn't left completely despite all that's happened so far.

She's still talking as her son tries to drag it playfully..

She smiled…

“Alright take, it fits you well..

Let me help you son,” she said as she buckled the hook on Caleb's neck.

He smiled….

“Oh, he likes it. …

“If only he could see the past,”she said as she nodded her head soberly..

“Alright son ,come here ,let's go see Daddy, he's in the sitting room….

April said as she carried him to Brighton.

ROMAN'S MANSION

In the sitting room..

Roman,

“Love,… I've booked your flight ticket and your visa is ready.” He announced..

Nancy,

“That was quick and just in time, thank you so much sweetheart….

I love you.”

Roman,

“So first thing tomorrow , you will be leaving me,” he frowns almost like a cartoon character .

“But nevertheless what I am saying is for our baby's comfort.” He added.

Nancy,

“Exactly my love , our baby deserves the best.”

“But,... don't you worry so much about us my love,”she touches his lips romantically, “I and our baby will be back soon.” Takes her hand from his lips down to his belly as she smacks it softly like a classic slut.

“Naughty girl,”he teased , tickled by her sensational touch.

“You always get me in the mood with those hands of yours” he said smiling like a naive teenage girl.

“Okay Sweetheart,I need to go sort some things out upstairs, you could join me if you wish , " she said…

She goes into her room as she phones Kim.

Nancy,

“Kimmy girl, guess what, I will be coming to the United Kingdom first thing tomorrow morning.” She announced, looking so fulfilled.

Kim,

“Ma'am I think you have to start coming right now because what I'm seeing I can't believe it.” she confessed.

Nancy,

“What's that ,my dear….talk to me.”

Kim,

“Ma'am , there's big trouble.”

Nancy,

“What trouble?”

Kim,

“As I'm talking to you right now, I saw a jeep packed at Brighton's Duplex,.....Your very own Ex …”

Nancy,

“Yeess… what happened to it?”

Kim,

“Hmmmmm…, Ma'am, on both sides of the jeep are it's boldly written

“APRIL WEDS BRIGHTO”..

Nancy,

“Jesus!!, she shouted…..

“That was a fast one. Did you check the date?”.

Her eyes open in curiosity eager to get a positive reply..

Kim,

“Of course, I did , it's on Sunday”.

Nancy,

“Wow!!, just in time,”

Take a deep breath….

“ Tomorrow is Saturday, I will be in the United Kingdom,so perfect.. which means we will be attending the wedding.”

“Now here is the plan, get me the venue, send it to me while I reach out to his other four wives scattered differently across the country….”

“They need to know their husband's hideout and as a matter of fact I will be inviting them over to the wedding… they should bring alongside their seeds because it is about to get dirty.” she said as she visualized her plan in her head.

Kim remains calm listening….

Nancy,

“And another thing again, is she still pregnant,” she asked…

“No she's not… Kim replied..

“Perfect, now do me a favor, try visiting them this evening, find out more things about her baby because I'm kind of having a very bad feeling concerning that child.” She assumed..

“Alright ma'am, I will do that right away”.

“Remember, anything you notice , do well to text or call me.”

“Alright ma'am..”

“Bye for now , I hear my husband's footsteps, let's talk some other time…”

FLASHBACK NARRATION

Tasha, Rose ,Belinda and Prena happen to be Brighton’s previous chicks…

Tasha was a club dancer who dances for money, right in the club where she met Brighto, she falls in love with him. As times went by ,their love story became stronger but she still loved clubbing… So, Brighto assured her that he was going to marry her if she remained loyal and quit flirting with other men. Out of love , she tries to adhere and both get married; having a daughter together…

But just when we thought the teacher should know more.

BOOM !!!. Brighto cheated on her with Rose ; a highly seductive prostitute that sucked major balls for money.

Rose wasn't ready to be a mom but the Mother fucker gets pregnant for Brighto. When Brighto noticed, he stopped picking her calls as he doubted if the child was actually his.. Hmm.. though it was still a girl child.

For Belinda’s case , she was a fashioner that Brighto deceived just to get to the top in the political industry. Belinda was grounded when it came to politics, she had lots of connections and this was exactly what Brighto saw that made him approach her. The young industrious lady liked him, though along the line she ends up pregnant only for Brighto to elope to the U..K with her expensive jewelry. She's left to take care of his child; a chubby young baby.

However,Belinda was the last person he dated after getting so intimate with Prena and Nancy.

For Prena , she was an upcoming 23 years old model Artist, she wanted to taste the seed inside of Brighto at all cost because it was quite fine you know …

She typically threw herself to him and when she finally got a share of his sperm he abandoned her with his female girl child he had with her.

Before he eloped to the United Kingdom, he dated Nancy who was best friends with Belinda.

Nancy calls off everything she had with Brighton as she finds out of his daily sexual life.

Smart Nancy took screenshots, starred messages ,saved all contacts of his concubines the very faithful day she curiously went through his Whatsapp.

With all her findings she confronts him as she angrily works out of his life for good.

Here is the catch, Now imagine these four ladies coming together to bring down April and make her crumble.

Trust Nancy , she would stop at nothing to convince each and every one of them even if it means funding their transportation. Of course, she has the resources to do it and definitely she will go to any length to make sure her stepsister wallows in pain and agony.

BRIGHTON'S DUPLEX.

In the sitting room,

A soft knock is heard from the door, it's opened by someone from inside . A young lady ,Kim, appears on the screen looking for baby junior claiming to be their estate neighbor.

Kim,

“Sir please….. Can I see baby junior..

She said, giving that naive innocent look.

“Sure you can , after you”

He said as he paved the way for her.

“Alright he's over there”.

Pointing to Caleb's little bed.

“You're welcome, I think he's awake..,forgive my manners ,what should I offer you?,” he asked

“Nothing”, she precipitously replied..

She draws nearer to the baby and discovers something..

Kim,

“Where does he look exactly like Roman, oh my goodness! ,I can barely spot a difference.”

She said talking to herself, startled ; he stood there for a few seconds.

Brighton noticed something awkward in his instincts.

“Is everything okay…”

He asked….

“Yes sure, you have a really handsome cute little boy, " she said as she smiled pretentiously..

“Alright,thank you,”he responded

“Is it just that he looks like who I know” , she voiced out showing a slight drama with her body gestures.

“Oh wow!!.. Who if I may ask?, Brighton curiously asked.

“Nevermind,”

she gives a short smile

“Okay if you say so”...

Brighto looks uncomfortable as her suspicion indirectly reminds him that he isn't the real father of Caleb.

“Alright, I will have to take my leave now, " she said as if she was slowly running from something .

She left for her apartment and decided to update Nancy on the latest gist.

KIM'S APARTMENT..

On a phone call..

Kim,

“Ma'am Nancy , you wouldn't believe what I found out today at Brighton's apartment,” she said, dramatically raising her hands like a lousy market woman.

Nancy replied “Go on ,what was that?”

“April…… it was April , she …..”

Stammering….still in shock

Kim was almost gonna piss her off as her anger was already getting stirred up.

She raises her voice

“Talk to me …..or, has your tongue suddenly run into your belly,” she asked looking almost furious, she hates to be kept on suspense.

“Alright ma'am,”

Takes a deep breath

“ The baby is ROMAN'S SON”

“WHAT!!!, ” she yelled… as she

Kicked the chair In Front of her in great anguish.

“Now it's clear, this bitch is really a hard nut,” throwing her hand forward as if she was gonna hit her head on the wall. If only I trusted my instincts we would have killed her baby” . she groaned as this one pained her immensely.

Nancy,

“And to think that she's carrying his seed really sucks,”…..”hmm…. , Pathetic peasant trying to measure up with me”. She looked so dramatic but serious.

“Ma… when I saw this boy, Gosh!...., I melted, …He’s just like Roman, his exact copy, no difference,” she said with her overly dramatic Nollywood premium demonstrations.

This made Nancy even more angry,

Her chest bubbled in anger, her makeup; pale and rowdy as she was almost gonna eat herself up letting her anger consume her.

“Honestly Kim.. The painful thing is that is a boy and he's ROMAN'S SON.”

Bitterly she threw her next line..

“Don't worry, it's only a couple of times and everything will be sorted out ,” she threatened . “ Hopefully I will be at your place when i arrive the U.K so I can put an end to this nonsense”

“Ma'am …what are you gonna do to her,” Kim asked curiously, eager to know.

“Leave it to me ,” giving a sinister look. “ I will make her pay ,”

Kim jerks in shock

“Just when she thinks she's happy I will show up as her worst nightmare.”

she vowed but this time ,it came with an unrelenting wicked rage that was desperate to go to any length to do anything.

She sees April as a threat to her and wants her out of the way for good but let's see how it pan out in April's wedding….
