Friend or Foe?

Zac gazed at the soaring heads that eventually hit the earth with a loud thud. Zac stood there frozen in place in the unsettling silence of the battlefield. The newly arrived onlookers stood there dumbfounded, unable to shake their shock.

"Your body has reached its limit, Zach. Bella awoke Zac from his daze with a sharp warning, "Stop using the power of the weapon."

With a sigh, he retrieved the weapon into his soul sea, where it remained suspended as two distinct weapons rather than coming together to form a sword. Zac dropped to his knees as he felt his body suddenly losing strength. The death energy was no longer being released from his body, and if you looked closely, you could see that his body's cracks were slowly but surely closing.

"What should we do with the people who have arrived?" Bella enquired.

Zac remarked, "Let's first see what their intentions are."
