Casting The Spell

The entire family gathered in the basement and went into the training room. Raziel headed towards a wall and pushed out a wave of mana.

The wall pushed back a bit and then sunk into the ground revealing another room. Heading in they saw the room was around the size of a ballroom. It was mostly empty except the center where there were 4 Violet crystals the size of a person. The crystals had small specks of gold in them that twinkled like stars. 

Raziel and Usiel looked towards Aeden and Raziel spoke. Whenever you are ready son just stand in the middle of the crystals and we will begin casting the spell. 

<Alright thank you> Aeden replied beginning to walk towards it.

Mihael grabbed his hand and pulled him in for a hug whispering in his ear. You will be fine. Mom and Dad are very powerful and there is also the system. I will be right here waiting for you when you come out of it.

Aeden hugged Mihael tightly and replied.

<Thank you. And I'm not worried because I have you all to help me>

They stopped hugging as Aeden walked to the middle of the circle. Usiel and Raziel took opposite positions of him as Mihael stood back a bit waiting.

Usiel spoke. Let's begin. 

They both spread out their arms as thousands of runes begin appearing around the crystals and the space in between them. The runes joined together around Aeden as they took the shape of 5 circles. The middle one was the largest and the circles got smaller when going either up or down. Usiel and Raziel didn't chant or anything but were sweating from effort.

Aeden's semi physical body began floating in the air as him and Mihael heard the system speak.

Moving closer to Aeden Mihael suddenly felt a massive amount of pain as he suddenly coughed up a mouthful of blood. With the blood came a small speck of blue light. The blood was sucked into the light as it flew towards Aeden crashing into the middle of his chest.

Aeden lost his form as he was just left as a small glowing ball of light.

The magic circles around Aeden stopped moving as a massive amount of mana from the Violet Crystals began flowing towards them. Usiel and Raziel sighed in relief letting the spells do their work.

The magic circles shot out small threads of golden light and as they struck Aeden's soul they slowly began building out a body. The process took multiple hours as the crystals became more and more dim losing their vibrant mana flow and becoming dull and lifeless.

The magic circles finished constructing his body and all of the runes that constructed them began disappearing into nothingness. As the last rune disappeared Aeden was slowly lowered to the ground. 

Mihael rushed over to him and began asking him if he was okay.

Yes I am okay Replied Aeden. But you didn't have to hurt yourself for me. Are you okay?

Mihael answered with a smile. No I am not because it hurts like hell but I did it because I care about you. Now lets get you dressed and upstairs to rest.

Ah okay so that is why I feel so cold Aeden said with a chuckle. It feels weird to have a body but I like it much more. Everything seems so much brighter and beautiful.

Raziel and Usiel listened in as they spoke smiling while looking at the two hug.

Raziel then spoke. Yes lets get you dressed and also what did he mean by hurt yourself Mihael?

The system said he didn't have enough soul strength to complete the spell and to give him the system as well. It gave me the option to give him a piece of my soul to boost his soul strength. So currently my soul is damaged.

Usiel looked shocked and quickly rushed over casting a spell to diagnose him and to also help boost the healing of his soul. A golden light flowed out of her hands and poured into Mihael. Because the spell she cast was quite powerful his soul was healing with a speed that was visible. In around 10 minutes his soul was fully recovered and repaired.

Don't do such dangerous things she said while scolding him.

Yes mom but I was worried what would happen if I didn't act he replied.

If you told us we could have helped. We have ways to increase the strength of someone's soul.

I'm sorry mom. Mihael said while looking sad. 

Usiel sighed as she comforted him. I am just worried dear, I don't want to lose you.

I will be careful I promise Mihael said.

And I will make sure he keeps it, otherwise I will punish him for you Mother Said Aeden with a smirk.

Hey! You are supposed to be on my side! Mihael said while blushing.

Think before acting and maybe I will be he replied while chuckling.

All of them shared a laugh as Raziel spoke.

Alright we really should get him some clothes on. Can you walk?

I can try Aeden replied. 

Alright then we will wait for you two upstairs with some clothes. 

Raziel and Usiel walked away as Mihael helped Aeden walk upstairs and get dressed before they joined their parents in the living room.
