Prologue - A God's Day Off.

The morning is lovely, with the sound of blue birds chirping just like on every other day on Mount Olympus. It extended well above the sky and clouds. The gods had the ability to predict everything and could possess anything they desired. The clear water cascaded over polished stones into a pool with a hint of turquoise near the royal court of King Zeus and his powerful Queen. The pool was encircled by tall birch trees, all adorned with lively green leaves that would never fade. The skies were clear and devoid of clouds. The sun is shining brightly in the sky, illuminating the water with its warm rays. The king of Gods sat on his large golden throne, adorned with various intricate engravings which Hephaestus, God of Blacksmithing, had personally craved himself by hand. Zeus had never felt such total peace. No worries, no stress. Just complete and utter serenity.

'Heavens, this is so ungodly boring...'

Zeus felt bitter as he realized he was becoming increasingly bored and dull, longing for something to engage him as the god of thunder.

It was not a new concept that a god grew tired of peace.

Zeus believed that there was no reason to become a god if he couldn't enjoy himself. Humans had a privileged existence, as they were able to freely commit acts of violence and carry out their desires without consequences. However, this was not the only aspect of their lifestyle. Some humans were remorseful, while others were not.

These are just a few of the reasons why Zeus was so intrigued by humans. He enjoyed both making and researching them, treating them like personal projects. The reason he desired them so strongly was because of this.

Zeus savored the sensation on his lips and entertained passionate thoughts, eager to descend among humans once more and indulge in desires he shouldn't.

It had been thousands of years since Zeus and his brothers emerged victorious in the battle against the Titans. The Titans were imprisoned in the underworld indefinitely. Throughout that period, Zeus remained present and active alongside the other deities on Mount Olympus in order to maintain equilibrium in the world of mortals. At this stage, the morals had deteriorated to such an extent that nobody would find them acceptable. So broken and pathetic at this point that no one would ever stand against any god. So, if the king wanted to take a day off, then who would stop him? No one, that's who.

Considering this, Zues carefully scanned the throne room, absorbing every intricate golden adornment. With swiftness, he took precautions to ensure that he remained unseen by both the gods and his wife, Hera, so that his actions would go undetected. Today, he appeared to be the only one around. Zeus abandons his majestic throne of gold to transform into a stunning cow, quietly escaping the sky realms and vanishing into the lush wilderness of a neighboring village.
