But the truly unique part is that the Barrier is semi-sentient. but I was never really sure what that meant in game.

But when I played divine online I encountered monsters, a Divine Dragon, or a Litch might have a more wild and free flowing bubble more commonly called a Lair. The difference only manifests in the

name itself and the physical appearance of the world within the bubble; functionally, Lair and Domain are interchangeable.

I have thought about this a lot I thin I'll go with the Patron class.

I'm quit familiar with all of the skills , because when I played divine on line I made it a point to learn all of the spells and skills of dungeons and dragons the games divine online took inspiration from. But I'm not familiar with the master of contracts.

If the creature accepts the contract the parchment will go away  as the user sees fit and is stored in a pocket dimension which you may access using by stating the name of the creature to summon the parchment.

Once a creature has accepted the contract their soul is bound to your service, when a bound soul dies spells such as the Revivify or the Soul Cage spell cannot be used on the creature unless you choose to allow it as their soul is not their own to command and your control of their soul is far greater than any other entity in the multiverse.]
