Xianwu walked outside the array and stood in the same Eden, she woke up in. her eyes felt uncomfortable in the darkness after staying under the sun for a long time. Xianwu walked forward with a smile. Her steps were gentle and silent. Fa ling adoring the sight stood up. The flowers were swaying with the cold breeze. Xianwu looked at the sky. In inferno city it was still night but the moon was nowhere to be seen. "Maybe, I've been away for a long time…" Xianwu thought sighing. Suddenly moonlight Nightingales surrounded her chanting gracefully. Xianwu gazed at them lovingly gently touching them. Just their gaze, seemed to mesmerize her "All of my worries… are drained. Thanks to you... I am really thankful…"

"Is that so? Milady…"called a voice. Xianwu with her eyes widened turned around. Behind her Yeying stood, close to her, his parasol in his right hand that was covering over Xianwu's hairs, a smile over his lips and his eyes which were hidden under his long hairs closed gently. His sole existence made her tremble under his kindness. "Welcome back, my lady…" he greeted. Xianwu felt a stinging happiness in her heart, looking at her feet she replied "I'm back…" Yeying smiled offering his hand to her. Soon Xianwu's wings which were covered by Fa ling unfolded as Fa ling hid deeper in her hairs. "Is he scared?!" she thought.

Due to her surprise her neck glowed bright red. Xianwu pulled out the necklace which was gifted by Yeying. She looked up as she saw his right earring glow red too. Xianwu muttered in wonder "Is this how you knew, that I came back?" she asked. Yeying nodded "and many other ways… my eyes in my territory are everywhere…" he responded. Xianwu sighed in defeat "There's no way I can question a Demon Sovereign, can I?" she thought. Xianwu grabbing a hold of his hand was suddenly reminded of Xiao Yin. "How cold!" she thought grabbing it tightly. Yeying smiled stunned.

"So milady, how was your mission?" he asked walking along the Eden. "Good! Very Good! My wings are much brighter aren't they?" Xianwu asked. Yeying nodded. "It was hard in the beginning when I descended, at first I thought I was gonna fall straight to the mortal world but then I met Fa ling. Thanks to him I was saved. Then I was helped by great neighbours, and they even helped me find a house. Afterword's, I met Xiao yin. He was such a good boy and always called me Sister…!" Xianwu repeated the entire experience to him.

Yeying without a single word listened amusingly. "And now~ I'm really tired…" Xianwu ended with a yawn. Yeying smiled as he asked "Do you want to rest then?" Xianwu flicked open her eyes in rejection. "No way!! I won't fall asleep. I only want to talk to you." Xianwu gleamed. The two of them settled under the big oak tree, nightingales surrounded them.

Xianwu eyeing Yeying called "Yeying… you know, I want to ask you about so many things. Can I?" Yeying nodded his head as Xianwu continued "Yeying… how are demons born?" Something really triggered Xianwu after hearing from Zhijun and Xiao yin about them and it made her more confused. Although in the past Xianwu had killed many of them but she knew from the knowledge her master had given her that demons were seed made from hatred and remorse. Born from the 'Volcanic arc of demonic birth', if seen should be eradicated immediately. However, Xianwu's circumstances are different now. In front of her is the demon sovereign but she can't even stand up to him, forget to even eradicate him. He is the one to give her hope to live. If her master was still alive what would he do? Or even tell her to do?

Yeying looked at the sky. His eyes powerful enough to crack it into two he replied "My Lady, every being born in the mortal world is weak. When someone is born in the mortal world, he can't even feed himself on his own that's why he has parents, beings like angels over his head. When he grows up he learns right or wrong, good or bad. He learns how to protect and how to live the rest of his life righteously. Humans are weak creatures. And, amongst those weak humans those who ascend righteously become Heavenly Supremes hence, those who descend viciously … become Demons. That is a rule!"

Xianwu looked at him in awe, unable to reply back as she thought "It's true… every single word of his true. I can't even debate." Xianwu looked around in wonder creating a long moment of silence in between the two of them which Yeying broke. "My lady, is something bothering you?" he asked. Xianwu looked at him as she nodded "In my mission I captured a ghost demon… it's been bothering me since then, that did I do the right thing to let her get captured?" Yeying consoled "Ghost demons are born from deep hatred and they become attached to revenge. If she was a cruel one than it's not your fault if it is caught by the heavenly Supremes…"

Xianwu nodded in affirmation as she continued "I just worry how it might feel that's all… emperor Zhijun also wanted me to be ready for a new case, it isn't mine to begin with but I have to stay alert 24/7." Yeying grew grave for a moment until he asked back "Is that so? Then, that would mean… you are leaving again?" Xianwu suddenly felt chills down her spine "I-I think so?!" she replied. "For a second it felt weird? Is he mad?" she thought with a gulp.

Soon remembering, she abruptly asked "Yeying! That time in the forest, did you save me from the wolves?" Yeying looked at her with his expression widened, he smirked. "What do you think?" he asked mischievously. Xianwu replied hastily "I think it was you!" Yeying's smirked darkened. "Are you sure? You must be mistaken? It might be your imagination, I was never there." He replied.

Xianwu's thoughts were shattered, she stuttered confused "Hey… but- I thought…" Yeying looked at her naughtily. "How can it be? But I'm sure I saw silver light… how come it was not him? Was I really mistaken?' Xianwu thought worriedly. "Then if it wasn't really Yeying! Who! Who was he?!" weird thoughts entered her mind as she shivered. Yeying chuckled mischievously. "Why are you laughing?" she cried. Yeying controlling his laughter responded "My mistake… milady."

Xianwu still troubled, sat with a pout on her face which made Yeying chuckle even more as he controlled. Yeying with a smile called "Milady, you really are very kind…" Xianwu's eyes widened just as if she heard those exact words somewhere but where? Yeying stood up. His long wavy hairs dangling behind his back. His parasol twirling around, and his robe unparalleled. Xianwu stared in amazement. "Yeying!" she called. His figure turning around facing Xianwu he asked "What is it? My lady." Xianwu biting her lip questioned "Why… why are you so kind to me? What if I still hate you even if you are kind, what would you do then? What if I don't want to stay with you anymore? Would you hate me? Or kill me? Or be unkind towards me then?"

Yeying's smile widened. "My lady why are you asking me this…" he asked. Xianwu was confused herself but still hesitated to reply back. Yeying walked forward as a moonlit nightingale sat on his finger he replied "However, if you still want to know how I'd think than… I am kind in only your eyes not anyone else's. In those eyes I'm basically a monster. A monster who breeds after blood, and would swing his weapon to take anyone's neck in his reach. The king of all evil and hell. You think I'm kind? No, You're wrong my lady."

Xianwu sat stunned soon he added "But if you'll hate me even after my kindness which only your eyes can grasp or leave me in return. Then I'll kill you? No, I'll hate you? I don't think so, I'll be unkind towards you? I don't wish to, instead, I'll become the kindest person. Milady… even if you take my kindness and feed it to the dogs. I would become kinder… no! The kindest, that leaving me would become the greatest regret of your life…" As the wind blew Yeying's expression hid under his parasol. Xianwu with her eyes widened sat perplexed, responding "The kindest...I was right… you really are different. Different from every person I met, in the present or even in the past."

Yeying chuckled "My lady, could it be you were testing me?" Xianwu nodded with a smile as she went past him "Hmm… you can think so, or maybe not." Nightingales surrounded Xianwu as she twirled around. Petals surrounded her and her wings glowed. Just like a fairy who descended onto heavens. Yeying stared at her as he whispered "Never change… even if you have to leave me." Xianwu with a hint of his voice questioned "Did you say something?" Yeying hiding his expression questioned her instead "My lady… how about I test you as well?" Xianwu with a nod agreed "As you wish!"
