Deathspike kingdom

"Oh, so you have some scrolls with you. I doubt how much information I can get. Still it is better to get something rather than nothing." Lawrence mumbled.

He then looked at the burly Northrock and tell him, "Please,get them for me."

Northrock grinned towards him and said,

"Brat,you are getting me into more trouble. Still you are a good buy. You seems smart but How did you get tricked by a little girl."

Northrock then left and came back after sometime. He was holding a small bag with him. He said to Lawrence ,

"Brat,now guards outside are suspecting me. You have to be quick and return the scrolls before I leave. I can only give you two to three scroll to keep. Hide it, if someone get here."

"What the f***, from when some scrolls also required checking of guards. They are behaving like if it is some kind of communication device or drugs. Fucking misers!"Lawrence mumbled under his breath.

By now he had let go of his previous identity of Richard and embraced the identity of Lawrence. As an orphan who became a boss of Mafia gang with his own power, he could adapt to any situation without being flustered.

Lawrence nodded obediently towards the guard and said,"I will do as you say." Northrock smiled in satisfaction and said,

"Then, be quick. Start with 'A introduction to deathspike kingdom' scroll.It has good information you should learn."

Lawrence nodded and unfolded the scroll which titled 'An introduction to deathspike kingdom'. He looked at the strange alphabets and sighed. He mumbled,

"This language is more complicated than Russian or Japanese."

He already marked a strange thing about himself. He had no complete memory of previous owner of this body but somehow he had vague images of some person, some places and ability to speak and read the languages of this world.

He didn't care much about it. He rather found it helpful. Afterall, these abilities enabled him to strike a conversation with the scary looking guard.

Without the ability to speak and read, he would be in a very dangerous situation now. So, he appreciated whatever ability he had got from the previous owner of the body.

He started looking through the scroll. At first, he had some difficulty in reading but gradually he adopted to the use of local language. The more he read, the more he became interested towards the matters of the Deathspike Kingdom.

In his past life, he left his schooling while he was in upper secondary school but that didn't stop him from gaining knowledge. His thirst for knowledge always remained with him but he gradually he focused more towards his aspiration and left behind gaining academic knowledge.

He found some of much needed informations from the scroll. He mumbled,

"So,this place is like medieval Europe. Everything is in chaos. There are many creatures here including humans but humans were considered as a weak power in this kingdom.

He read further and his eyes brightened as he read more. Powerful demons rule this world. There were deep forests exists beyond the cities.

Lessor demons and magical beasts rule over the wilds. Sometimes, they invade the cities. So,city guards made up of powerful demon clan members were organised to protect the cities.

Lawrence thought to himself , "Fuck, I am going to be crazy reading these strange informations.

I am a demon here! What the hell! Beasts are everywhere, everyone is powerful,

devils and beasts can use magic!

I am going crazy just thinking about it!

Lawrence calmed down eventually and read the scroll again. Finally,he read the complete scroll in one hour.

Northrock quickly left after collecting the scrolls. Before he left, Lawrence kept a scroll named 'Introduction of various clans and their cultivation techniques '

with him.

It was a scroll which had a Introduction about various clans and their cultivation methods.

Holding the book in hand Lawrence was cursing inside his mind,

"What the hell is this world! Cities are not connected,outside the city magical beasts are struggling! I need a plan and complete understanding of local situation to start over my own power.

Moreover, I need to cultivate magic and make myself stronger, Otherwise I will be in a disadvantage everywhere."

Lawrence looked at his own body. This body was taller but frailer than his previous self.

But he was amazed by the regenerative capacity of his body. Previously,he was injured,when he wake up inside this body but now his wounds almost healed on his own.

He mumbled,"Being a demon has its own advantage, Moreover,I don't have any horn on my head. This body is not bad. A body of 12 or 13 year old teenager!

Then he started reading the scroll which had introduction of various clans and their cultivation system.

Book started by introducing five basic elements of heaven and Earth. They are

Fire

Thunder

Earth

Water

Wind

There were also some special elements. They were darkness element, death element, life element,metal element,space element

Ironhorn clan- A huge clan of Skullpass city,cultivated by using metals

Firecrow clan-uses fire as their primary cultivation technique

Darkwing clan-used darkness as their primary cultivation technique
