Elemental Control

Actually, Julius's situation is very different from most cultivators nowadays. Even without martial spirits, he can still use the power or Chakra within his body. Because Julius's true strength lies in his divine soul, which naturally possesses the highest power among the gods. However, currently, it's very risky for him to use it. His coarse body is extremely fragile, and if it is destroyed or killed, he will disappear forever from the universe.

"Now, Amara Gold, you go first to enter the Elemental realm. Let the God's Mirror lead you to your elemental destiny. Later, you will learn how to merge Chakra with Elemental power. Because combining the two will be very effective in creating a powerful attack," said Master Frostfire.

Amara Gold began to move towards the mirror, which was almost two spear-lengths tall. The floor in front of the mirror was made of rare jade stone that could evoke a person's true strength. Amara Gold then sat in front of the god's mirror.

Rylan Amara Gold started meditating, clearing her mind and merging with her soul to summon the Elemental power within her body. After a moment, a blue light emanated from her body, gradually transforming into droplets of water resembling dew floating around her. That was the depiction of the Element currently emanating strongly within the girl's body.

"Water Element!" exclaimed Master Frostfire after realizing Amara Gold's elemental power.

But it didn't stop there; Amara Gold's body also emitted a purple-colored light. Soon after, lightning bolts crackled from her body. Then Amara Gold opened her eyes, and she approached Master Frostfire after leaving the elemental detection mirror.

"Well done, Amara Gold. You possess two equally strong and dominant elements. To train them, you must divide your time. Spend three days on the water elemental land and three more days on the lightning elemental land," said Master Frostfire.

Amara Gold nodded in acknowledgment of Master Frostfire's instructions. Then the girl returned to the mirror and inscribed a seal in front of it, causing her body to be enveloped in light before suddenly disappearing from that place. Now she was on the elemental water land to train her powers. She would practice all the theories explained by Master Frostfire in that place.

 Julius walked towards the elemental control ability detection mirror, which also functioned as the gate opener to the seven elemental lands. He then sat cross-legged right in front of the mirror, on the jade stone that served as his seat. Julius began to concentrate as taught by Master Frostfire. Despite trying for quite some time, there was no change.

"It seems this child is not an elemental user. The God's Mirror, which detects elemental control abilities, shows no reaction at all. Poor child, even though he is intelligent, unfortunately, his talent does not match his intelligence."

Master Kaelen Frostfire concluded that Julius did not have the talent to control elements. Although his intelligence was considered above average by the Master in terms of memorization and understanding tested on the students, Master Frostfire considered Julius to be one of the less fortunate students. He was not blessed by the heavens with the ability to control elements.

Master Kaelen Frostfire thought that Julius should concentrate on his ability to use seal mantras or control the power of cultivation he possessed. He intended to help the young man increase his body's endurance so that he could cultivate even faster. After spending some time with the young man, Master Kaelen Frostfire could identify the current issues faced by Julius.

"Julius, stay here and practice cultivation and seal mantras as I have taught you. I will leave this place for a few days to find something for you. If Amara Gold has succeeded in her elemental control training, help her practice. Until I return, do not leave this place," said Master Kaelen Frostfire to Julius.

"Yes, Master!" Julius replied, bowing in respect.

Master Frostfire then left the place through the gate door they had entered before. After his departure, Julius tried the elemental control techniques he possessed when he was a light god. He began to concentrate, preparing himself to perform the elemental control technique.

After Julius performed the elemental control technique according to his abilities when he was a Light God, suddenly the elemental detection mirror reacted. Shortly afterward, Julius disappeared from that place, taken by the God's Mirror to the land of the light element. Julius found himself at the peak level of elemental control. However, he didn't understand the theory of the techniques given by Master Kaelen Frostfire, and none of them seemed to work when he tried them.

Julius began to control the light element, utilizing the elemental source available in that land. Although he succeeded in doing so, the power of his control technique was still very weak. This was because the strength of his coarse body did not support Julius's ability to further improve. Julius's body was currently very limited in its ability to use any techniques he had learned.

"Why aren't the techniques taught by Master Kaelen Frostfire regarding elemental control working for me? Does the martial spirit I currently possess not have the ability to control elements? Instead, the techniques I used to have that worked for control are what I need. Although the power of control is still very weak, I am sure this is because my coarse body cannot support the great power I could actually possess," murmured Julius to himself.

 Julius then returned to his original place right in front of the God's mirror where he performed the elemental control technique earlier. He waited for Amara Gold to finish her training as instructed by Master Kaelen Frostfire. He also waited for Amara Gold to finish practicing the cultivation techniques taught by Master Lin Duano and the family inheritance book given by his grandfather.

While practicing, Julius realized that there were two sources of power within him. Apart from the martial spirit he trained, which was currently at the peak level of the 9th rank in the realm of the earth spirit, he also had a source of power in his divine soul. However, the divine soul in his current body was not functioning properly. Julius thought that this was because he was currently in a part of the earth that was not under his leadership when he was the Emperor of the light gods.
