Disguise Technique

"Where are we going now, Master? It's not feasible for us to stay at the inn with this appearance. It will certainly raise suspicion," whispered Rowan Storm.

"Don't worry, Rowan. The leader has prepared everything. We are currently disguised as villagers, so we must have a house. The disguise we're using involves the face of one of the farmer families with four children. Right now, we're heading to our own house," replied Master Duano with a smile.

The three of them continued walking along the main road of the village. Just near the edge of the village, Master Lin Duano led the students to stop at one of the houses. The house was quite large but simple. From its appearance, it looked like an ordinary family house, but not from the impoverished farmer class.

"Are you just arriving, father? Uncle Verrick has been waiting inside."

The students looked puzzled when Master Lin Duano was called father by a village girl who came out of the house they were heading to. Only Master Lin Duano appeared calm, even nodding and smiling. Not wanting to arouse suspicion, they pretended to be ignorant even though they were very curious.

Master Lin Duano entered the house followed by the disguised students. Inside, there was already a man in his fifties waiting. He was sitting in the living room enjoying a small meal on the table. When Master Lin Duano entered, the man stood up to show respect.

"How are you, Mr. Verrick? What seeds have you brought for us to plant in our fields later?" Master Lin Duano asked as he sat directly in front of the man named Mr. Verrick.

"Mr. Elden, I'm fine. I admire you for still striving to be a successful farmer even though the people around your house are far wealthier entrepreneurs than you. Their capital is very strong, not to mention their supply of crops they can easily outdo you. But as long as you can manage farming strategies well, there won't be any problems for you. My visit here is just to remind you of that," Mr. Verrick replied.

Master Lin Duano nodded his head. He seemed to understand the direction of the conversation from the man he was talking to. The students who saw this were naturally very confused. All they knew was that Master Lin Duano had just arrived with them, but it seemed as though Master Lin Duano had been living in the house for a long time.

Currently, Master Lin Duano was disguised as someone named Elden, a farming family that had long lived in the area. The original occupants had already been secured by the tower academy people. So, their disguises weren't suspected by the villagers at all. However, Master Lin hadn't had a chance to inform the students of the entire plan yet.

Master Lin himself only found out everything when one of the villagers who had raised their hand sent a message using telepathy, which is why no one from the students knew what was really happening at that time. But according to the message Master Lin conveyed before they entered, they had to adapt and remain silent if they didn't understand the situation.

"So, are there no superior seeds at all that you can bring today? I was hoping your visit this time could bring many superior crops to my fields," Master Lin asked again.

"Ah... This time I indeed didn't bring anything for you. Lately, my business here has kept me from going anywhere. Trading matters here have been keeping me very busy lately. Alright, Mr. Elden, I must return to my work immediately. I'm afraid my master is looking for me," Mr. Elden said, bidding farewell.

Master Lin escorted Mr. Verrick outside. It was evident that some neighbors around his house were watching them. Master Lin greeted them by raising his right hand. Some of the people observing did the same.

After escorting Mr. Verrick, Master Lin returned inside the house. Inside, the students were waiting for their Master with many questions.

"Rest now, it's already late at night. Tomorrow we will work again."

It wasn't the answer to the curiosity that overwhelmed the disguised Tower Academy students, but Master Lin instructed them to rest. Nonetheless, they followed what Master Lin commanded. Because previously, the Master had mentioned that when he said to rest, it meant an order to meditate for telepathic communication.

The four students immediately headed to their resting places. They lay down on their respective beds. Master Lin had already taught the four students to perform telepathy techniques while lying down to avoid suspicion. Master Lin was sure their current location was being monitored, not because they were already known, but because the demon sect people were spying on all the houses in the village named Everglow.

After closing their eyes, they suddenly found themselves in a dimension where the four students were sitting cross-legged facing Master Lin, who was already there. The technique used by Master Lin would be very difficult for opponents to detect because anyone using it did not emit energy and therefore couldn't be detected.

"Students, I deliberately speak through telepathy in this subconscious dimension so that others won't know. You need to know that the person called Mr. Verrick earlier is one of the assistant Masters at the Fire Dragon Tower, Master Malachi Silver. He was assigned to monitor the situation here first. After successfully infiltrating the Demon Sect membership."

Master Lin began to explain to the students what their questions were about earlier. It turns out that when Master Lin was talking to Master Malachi who disguised himself as Mr. Verrick earlier, it was a conversation about the information obtained by Master Verrick. "Master, then who is the girl who called you father?" asked Alden Light, somewhat curious.

"She is none other than Nguyen family's daughter, Nguyen Zuzanna from the Nine Gods Academy. This time, we are indeed collaborating with several Academies to destroy that small Devil's stronghold," replied Master Lin Duano.
