The Warehouse

The sun hasn't set since Monday. So now it's daylight all the time and it's all over the news. But, believe it or not, the heat is tolerable. I know I'm telling this like it isn't a big thing. Scientists are doing a ton of research and still can't figure out why.

I met Naz's twin brother, Jerry this Tuesday. He looks exactly like a boy version of Naz.

He's a book lover. And has blue eyes(everyone seems to have blue eyes).

I also introduced Jean to my friends. He fit right in. Even Jerry's in our group. The camp me and Addy planned to have on Friday has five people now. I feel like it's gonna be a blast.

The camp is gonna be more fun and less creepy, I guess. We plan to first set up camp and check out Lady Lavender's warehouse that no-one has dared to go in. We figured that since the Sun isn't gonna set, there will be light, and that warehouse will be less creepy. I honestly feel weird telling that the sun isn't setting. Personally, I don't think messing around in that warehouse is a good idea.

I just remembered, today's Friday. So today, at four pm, I have to pack my bag and set off to Lavender Hill. Jerry and Adelia are bringing the tents. Jean has to bring water, I have to bring snacks and Naz volunteered to bring tons of marshmallows. We're going to have bonfires and make s' mores. I really can't wait. This is gonna be so much fun. The only part I'm worried about is the warehouse. It's been scheduled to be demolished next month because it's so old and basically of no use. It's three pm, and I gotta take a shower.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We haven't visited the warehouse yet. Thank God. They all seem to have forgotten.

A Bonfire in the daylight isn't very pleasing or fun. It increases the heat and you don't get the feeling to sing or play the guitar or have fun, altogether.

But we're still having fun. So far we've eaten roasted marshmallows, told about a thousand jokes and stories, and rolled down the hill.

Naz looks like she's missing something.

"You okay?" I ask.

"I'm fine, it's just that I feel like I forgot to do something. We forgot to do something."

Oh no. She's gonna remember about the warehouse.

"Guys, we forgot to visit the warehouse!" She exclaimed.

I saw that coming. Now everyone wants to go. It's creepy. Why do they wanna do this? But I'm not gonna complain because suddenly everyone's seriously excited, especially Addy and Naz.

"They say Lady Lavender was last seen there. There are rumors that she was murdered there" said Addy.

That seriously gave me the willies. If all that happened, just why?. This is exactly what happens in horror movies. They know something scary is in there, but they still go to freaking explore. And then start crying when all the blood and gore come. Sometimes I wish people weren't stupid. Like, they literally know. But these are my best friends and I can't let them down, so I keep my mouth shut.

And we head off to the warehouse.

Hey guys, thank you all for reading my book. It would be a very great help if you let me know your feedback in the comments.

Sincerely,
