Character Explanation

Main Protagonists:

Giselle Cheadle: She is our unfortunate female lead that had been kidnapped by our male lead when he sees her attempt suicide. She's black, of average height and she's beautiful. She's a psychologist who co-owns a clinic and she sure doesn't appreciate being taken from her work.

Adam Denver: He has been hopelessly in love with her ever since he had noticed her. He's white, extremely tall, handsome but such a huge dork. He works for his family who runs the mafia of A City and owns a branch of his own. He tends to lose his reason when he's around Giselle.

Important Characters:

Matthew Park: He co-owns the clinic with Giselle and wishes she would just date somebody already. He's one of her closest friends and is married to a nurse in their Clinic, Ava. He's Asian American, tall and good looking. He's also an easy-going person till you provoke him.

Devon Pierce: A childhood friend of Giselle. He's also an easy-going and kind person. He cares for Giselle like she were a part of him and wouldn't stand for someone insulting her. He's also Asian American and his father co-owns the oil cooperation with Giselle's father.

Annie Moon: She is Giselle's friend from high school. Possibly the only female Giselle is close to, she's really short so she has a complex about her height and she's also black. She is currently dating Devon.

Gabrielle Cheadle: Giselle's younger sister. She's taller than her sister, works in her father's company as a general manager and she's as beautiful as her sister, maybe even more. Her wish is to finally land the perfect man and make sure her sister ends up with the right person too.

Joshua Cheadle: The last born of the Cheadle family, heir to the oil giant corporation and the little angel in the hearts of his two older sisters. He's nine, a little fragile but loves his sisters as much as they love him. He's also really good looking.

Amelia Denver: The oldest of the Denver siblings. She runs an organization of her own under the mafia family. She's always serious but is cute when she smiles.

Adrien Denver: He's the second son of the Denver family. He has a screw loose and manages to scare even his own family. His looks are creepy (for reasons that would be explained in future chapters) and he has a weird hobby. He's also a minor antagonist in this novel.

Samuel Denver: Head of the Denver family and the mafia of A city. He's reasonable and extremely intelligent, always keeping the huge mafia firmly under his control. He has high hopes for his son but favors his first daughter the most.

Mirabel Denver: The younger sister of Samuel Denver.

Christopher Denver: Another antagonist of the novel. He's fiercely protective of his family and doesn't care much about other people.

Catherine Denver: A major antagonist of the novel. She used to be best friends with Giselle but they had a friend and drifted apart. She also used to date Devon but broke up with him and moved abroad.
