Chapter 13

James shut the door as Blair sat down on the couch, "Well," James said walking to her. Blair short smiled, "What's wrong?" James asked sitting next to her. "I just don't understand how I saw you with Aileen if I never left the house," Blair said. "Give yourself some time, you'll remember what happened," James assured her wrapping his arm around her. Blair took a deep breath, as his touch sent a familiar tingle through her body. Blair looked over at James, their breathing synced as they moved closer until they kissed. With no one around anymore they were free to let their hands grope and claw at each other, pulling clothes off in fits of passion. Their bodies screaming to be one, after so long apart. Laying her back on the soft couch, once they were naked, James kissed down Blair's neck, a small moan escaped Blair. James smiled; Blair needed him as much as he needed her. He brushed his lips over Blair's mark and he thrusted into her. Blair's back arched off the couch, it was the feeling her body had been craving. James pulling back and thrusted again and again, pulling a moan from himself, "Blair," he whispered as a plea. His hands pulling hers above her head, bringing her closer to pleasure with each thrust. James kissed down her neck, rolling his tongue and nipping, down to her mark. Blair's mind in a fog of satisfaction and the comforted feeling of home, James was her home.

As he pushed in all the way, he bit down marking her again, losing her hands. Blair gasped for air, as her fingers dug into James' back holding him to her as her body free fell into a climax. James refusing to release her as he continued to thrust animalistic now, her body pulsating around him, bringing him closer to his own climax. Blair lifted her head into the crook of James' neck and shoulder, she extended her k-9's and marking James in turn, making him release her and moan out her name again, "Fuck, Blair," he called out as he spiraled from the peak of his climax. As his body thrusted once more and stopped. Blair's eyes flicked open, it was a new sensation, like clarity of herself. She could feel every ending of her nerves. Blair could feel every slight breath James took; goosebumps rippled on her skin everywhere he was touching her. Blair felt as though her heart would explode with bliss, as they collapsed, their energy spent for the moment, James rolled to his side, pulling a gray throw blanket over them, and wrapping his arms around Blair, holding her to him. Blair snuggled into his chest, "I love you," she murmured into his chest. "I love you," his whispered back, his arms squeezing her tighter.

They stayed like that, falling into a deep sleep. Blair's mind played images of her getting into her dress for her Luna ceremony, James had given her something, a necklace and earrings. She was putting on the earrings sitting at her vanity when she saw him, "No," Blair said, turning around as he came closer. "Blair," James called pulling her from her nightmare. Blair sat up looking around, "Are you ok?" James asked. "It was Tim, alpha Tim came for me, I don't know what he did, but he was our room," Blair told him. "It's ok, he's gone," James assured her, wrapping his arms around her. Blair fell into him and breathed him in, it was a nightmare, Tim was gone, and she was home. "Come on, let's go to bed, you'll be more comfortable," James offered. "I want to take a shower," Blair told him nodding.

Blair went into the bathroom and let the heat of the water relax her and steam envelope her. After being deceived by the red creek pack, Blair wanted all the comfort she could take from home. Blair washed her hair and the rinsed the mud off her body, and let the warm water wash the nightmare away. Blair turned the shower off and dried herself quickly, she was missing the feeling of James beside her. Walking into the bedroom, James was laying on his back his left arm over his eyes, his right arm stretched out waiting for her. Blair smiled to herself; she hadn't noticed the toll her being away from him had taken on him. You could see it in his eyes, he hadn't been sleeping. The dark circles under his blood shot eyes, told of an alpha without his mate. Blair slowly climbed under the blankets, trying not to wake him. She laid on her side and gently kissed his arm, as if instinctively, James rolled towards her burying his face in her neck, his arm once over his face, laid over her. His hand firmly planted on her belly, Blair felt wrapped in love and fell asleep.

In the morning, Blair squinted her eyes and smiled at the familiar gleam of sun shining right into her face, she remembered she was home. James' arm still rested over her, Blair did want to wake him, but her stomach was growling. She felt like she could demolish an elephant. "James," she whispered. "No," he whispered and pulled her tighter. Blair giggled, he nuzzled her neck, that was a sound he had longed to hear again. "I'm hungry, I need to get up," she told him. James inhaled a deep breath, "Ok, but only because you're pregnant," James replied getting up. "You can stay in bed," she offered. "No, I'll make you something to eat," James answered and put some sweatpants on. Blair got up and put on some pajama shorts and a t-shirt, sitting at her vanity she brushed out her hair. It was a tangled from sleeping in it wet, she flipped it over and brushed her hair down, trying to untangle it. Blair flipped her hair back and shrieked dropping the brush, as she looked in the mirror and thought she saw Tim. "Blair," James called running from the kitchen. James found her sitting with her knees pulled up crying, "What happened?" He asked kneeling in front of her. Blair let her knees down, "I keep seeing Tim, like he's haunting me," she cried. James hugged her, "Just give yourself time, it's the memories overwhelming you," he told her. If James could find Tim, he would serve Tim his own heart. It was as if when he took Blair he vanished, they hadn't been able to track him down anywhere. "Come on, you can make the coffee," James told her, as he wiped her tears. Blair nodded and they walked out the kitchen. Blair fell into the ease of making breakfast with James, as they joked and played, making the unnerving sights of Tim fade.

They fell into conversation of what they would do with the day as they ate, "I think we should retry my Luna ceremony," Blair said taking a bite of bacon. "Are you sure?" James asked. Blair nodded, "Maybe we could make this one simpler?" Blair asked. James smiled and grabbed her hand, "Anything you want," he answered. Blair smiled back and breathed a sigh of relief. "I better get in the shower, we need to head to Adair's office," James told her looking at the clock. Blair grabbed the dishes and rinsed them as James headed back to their bathroom to shower.
