Eradication

The Family master, Rudie Rad, is said to be the second strongest level 9 of the entire family, only second to the peak level 9, Near Rad!

Rudie Rad didn't even look at the low leveled Edward Rad and only analyzed Felix carefully.

"You're back, huh?" Rudie said after analyzing Felix's facial features carefully.

He then snorted and said while pointing at Felix's chest, "Ha! You're the coreless spoiled kid."

'He remembers me?' Felix thought in surprise.

"Master Rudie, you mean he is…"

Edward Rad was shocked when he heard that the young man in front of him is actually Felix who he betrayed.

"Right. He is Felix, the coreless beggar," Rudie said while watching Felix's expression.

He wanted Felix to relive all those betrayal and bullying he got when the previous family master died.

Felix and Ron heard this, but Felix didn't show any emotion. Ron on the other hand said calmly, "So you're the one who betrayed-"

"Ron, no need to talk to a dead person," Felix faintly said while looking at Rudie.

"You think that with your coreless body, you can even have the chance to beat me? You think your stupid weapon can even save you?" Rudie cackled while looking at Felix afar.

"You mean this level?" Felix rotated his tattoos, indicating that he is an Elemental identity realm cultivator!

"Don't even show your pitiful cul-"

Rudie is about to laugh when he heard Felix, but when he saw Felix's tattoo he was shocked to the core!

An elemental identity realm cultivator… even him, a level 9 mana gathering cultivator is nothing compared to an elemental identity realm cultivator.

"We're dead meat!" Rudie said faintly, obviously feeling despair take over his body.

"Master, how can you be scared by such a coreless beggar?" Edward said, not knowing what that tattoo represents.

Thud!

"Shut up!" Rudie immediately beheaded Edward after hearing him making fun of Felix. This is his attempt to make Felix less angry.

He then bowed to Felix more than 90 degrees, showing extreme reverence to an elemental identity realm cultivator.

"Revered expert, we respect your decision on coming here, but why would you visit our city without letting us know first so that we can give you a proper greeting?" Rudie spoke respectfully as he held his fist against his chest.

He dispelled all the idea that the young man in front of him is the coreless beggar, Felix. He just quietly assumed that the man in front of him is just a look alike of Felix.

The guards got confused and scared when they saw their revered master severing Edward's head, as if not caring about their long time relationship!

Felix didn't even care about the question, and just looked at Edward's head, 'You deserve more pain than that.'

Felix then looked looked at the subservient Rudie and said with hatred in his voice, "Betrayal… the thing that I hate the most."

He didn't even give Rudie time to respond and flicked in front of Rudie in an instant!

He slapped Rudie's blue crown away, making it hit a wall and shattering it to pieces!

"My precious crown…" Rudie regretted buying the luxurious crown that can attract mana.

Felix stretched his arms forward and carried Rudie by his own hair.

"Ahhhhhh!" Rudie cried in pain as he felt his scalp being pulled agonizingly.

The guards were scared out of their wits when they saw Rudie being bullied and carried like a kitten!

"Let go of our master!" One of the brave guard shouted, not knowing that Felix is an elemental identity realm cultivator.

Felix, as if not hearing what the guard had said, slapped the second family master!

Slap!

"I remember that you were one of the talents that our previous family master had kept," Felix said with dark gaze as he peered into the depths of Rudie's eyes.

"You are actually Felix?!" Rudie widened his eyes as he struggled.

Before the previous family master died, he promised to take care of everyone in the family, not to discriminate anyone in the family. But this promise was not fulfilled as he is one the first person to fight for the throne of the family master when he died. Since Felix is one of the potential inheritor of the family master throne, Rudie quickly dealt with Felix.

Felix nodded while not showing any expression, he just tugged the hair more by gripping it more tightly.

"Ahhhh... I will never do it again!" Rudie screamed in pain as the pores in his scalp had started to drip blood from being pulled.

"How about I just destroy your core?" Felix licked his lips greedily, he wondered what would a level 9 mana gathering realm cultivator would taste like for his core? Is the mana absorbed by Rudie enough to sate his gluttonous core?

"Please don't do it Felix, I only agreed to destroy your core because someone ordered me to do it! Also, we are brothers kept by our family master!" Rudie revealed, not knowing that Felix has no ideas about him having a core in the first place.

Felix gritted his teeth in anger when he heard this, whereas Ron's mouth was gaping as he thought, 'So he is the culprit that caused my brother to be banished from his own family...'

All of the humiliation that Felix experience all these years flashed before his eyes. All of that had transpired because of this asshole in front of him.

"Who are your accomplices?" Felix asked calmly, as if he already knows that Rudie destroyed his core. Felix kind of already have a picture of someone in his mind when he asked this question.

"Before I tell you, promise me that you will let me go!" Rudie screamed in pain, but his eyes are showing hope!

Felix nodded and waited for Rudie's response.

"It was-" Before Rudie can tell Felix what he asked, the sound of arrow heading towards Rudie interrupted him!

whoosh! clang!

Felix saw the arrow and slapped it away using his free hand as if it was nothing, he then saw a middle-aged man wearing a red crown while holding an exquisite bow.

"Near." Felix said as he looked at the middle-aged man a hundred meters away.

"As expected of an elemental identity realm cultivator," Near said in envy as he looked at his useless bow.

"Brother, save me!" As if gaining hope, Rudie shouted enthusiastically, not knowing that the arrow was actually heading towards him.

Near didn't respond and looked seriously at Felix, "Just because you've become an elemental identity realm cultivator, you think that you can do everything in the city?"

"What makes you confident that I can't?" Felix asked while still carrying the writhing Rudie with its own hair.

"We are protected by the king because of the tournament that will be held. If anything happens to us, you will receive an extreme punishment from the king!" Near snorted and laughed, threatening Felix.

"That's right! You can't kill us, now let go of me!" Rudie shouted while trying to pry open Felix's grip on his hair.

Felix looked at Near, not bothering with Rudie's struggle to freedom, "Ah yes, the good ol' threatening tactic..."

Felix laughed as he released a water out of thin air, enveloping Near's head in an instant!

"Damn you, Felix!" Near shouted while trying to slap away the water enveloping his head.

splash! splash!

He tried slapping away the water near his head, but every time he does, it will be just instantly replace by another set of water. Although he is not drowning because of his mana mana, he is getting very annoyed!

pishhhhh!

A blazing roar sounded as a large blue fire escaped from Felix's free hand that is raised.

It travelled extremely fast towards nearand immediately boiled the water surrounding Near's head when it arrived!

"Arghhh!" Near groaned in pain as he felt his skin melting from the heat of the boiling water!

Rudie and the guards watched as their respected family master is being subjected to extreme heat.

Near then kneeled on the ground while trying to shout...

Unfortunately, they can't hear anything as the boiling water itself prevented the sounds from escaping! All they can hear are useless blobs forming as the supposed to be sounds are being turned to bubbles.

Thud!

Not long after, they saw the family master gradually weakening and it fell on the ground without any signs of life.

"How about that?" Felix licked his lips with passion as he looked at the corpse.

A level 9 mana gathering realm cultivator that he can consider as an instant source of mana for recovery!

The guards didn't know what to do anymore and just fell on their knees, despair and hopelessness filled the atmosphere.

'Am I next?' Rudie asked in his mind, not even caring about his life anymore. Even if he is freed by Felix, his reputation will be greatly ruined for the entirety of the Pollux country, let alone Relyc city.

Pak!

Felix looked at Rudie's hopeless eyes and slapped him. He then asked again, "Who are your accomplices?"

"Hahahahahaha..." Rudie acted as if he didn't even hear Felix and he just laughed for a whole minute, as if he is planning something devious.

The guards seems to already know what will happen and ran away!

Bang!

A loud explosion exploded in Rudie's chest as large amount of mana began to escape from his chest. 

Before the impure mana can even escape into the atmosphere, it had already entered Felix's core!

[Breakthrough countdown: 12 seconds...4...1...0]

An even louder explosion exploded from Felix's core as it condensed his mana even more, slowly turning it into a liquid!

He felt an unprecedented amount of power emanating from within his physicality, making his body feel much more lighter!

He saw the absorption barrier being 60 meters in diameter now, increasing the amount of mana that he can absorb while idling.

After getting used to the great feeling that he is experiencing right now, he looked around and saw the guards not breathing while blocking their ears.

"So did he just do self-destruction?" Felix calmly asked the guards, which surprised them.

They expected a large amount of impure mana to harm their bodies and cultivations, that's why they tried to run away while not breathing.

In textbooks, a cultivator can self-destruct their cultivation which can result in an explosion that can eradicate a large area depending on your cultivation.

A level 9 mana gathering cultivator can eradicate half a kilometer large area, and it can even injure an elemental identity realm cultivator if close enough to the explosion.

The guards were scared because they thought their core will be harmed by the impure mana exploding from Rudie. If they let the accumulated impure mana of a level 9 mana gathering realm cultivator to enter their body, their cultivation will surely hit a plateau.

Ron looked at Felix worriedly as he is also aware of the impure mana that can damage the core and the body, but he sighed a breath of relief when he noticed that Felix is fine.

The guards were shocked because they thought a self destruction of a level 9 is enough to injure a level 1 elemental identity realm cultivator and even eradicate an area of half a mile, but it seems like it's just rumors based on what they had seen.

Not only Felix is uninjured, it also seems like he got stronger because of the self-destruction.

Felix looked at Rudie's torso that is bursted open, the ribs fragments are shattered and scattered all around the place. His heart is turned to dust, and his core is nowhere to be seen.

"Thank's for the meal!" Felix exultantly said after sating his hungry core.

The guards heard this and concluded that Felix is either so strong that he can stop the explosion or that Rudie's self-destruction is so weak that it can't even flinch Felix.

"Please forgive our family." One of the guard kneeled, followed by all of the guards!
