He watched her blank stare in confusion till he finally understood,
"Oh, it isn't your name!"
He chuckled lightly to himself and Diamant looked away, feeling absolutely exhausted. She could hear him give orders to someome to get her food.
Then he spoke to her about how much rest she should get. An angry hot tear ran down her cheek, she wanted to scream about how all she wanted was to be free but that would be useless, none of this was his fault and she was too hungry for a fight now.
She needed strength.
"Your cuts will take a long time to heal, my Lady. They are a little deep but they do not need stitches. I advise that you avoid moving around unnecessarily."
"She will," a cold voice replied and Diamant turned. Aaron was at the door, a large bird with blue feathers and round golden eyes sat on his shoulder. When he got to them, the doctor bowed quickly snapping himself out of the bewilderment of such a perculiar bird.
"Sire."
