"I'm home." Alex said with a raised voice as he walked through the front door. It felt strange having to announce his presence whenever he got home but it didn't feel like a hassle and he understood why it was necessary.
In his old home, Alex could hear the front door open and close whenever it was used so it was always easy to tell when someone got home or left. Another thing to consider was that the old home was very small so the chances of people being in the lounge or kitchen was quite good, in which case they would see him as he entered.
'I can still hear when the front door opens and closes from anywhere in this house but that's only because I'm a User and I've raised my stats, there's no way anyone else would be able to do that unless they were close by. The chances of someone being in this foyer area is also pretty small since it's just a walkway to enter other rooms and not so much of a room itself.'
