He chuckled darkly, leaning towards her. "Too late for that April. You're mine" ***** April doesn't believe in love and no man has ever been able to break the walls that she had built over the years until Enrique Alvaro handsome business tycoon comes into the picture and he makes her feel sparks like the fourth of July. He also has his dark past and is possessive. Will Enrique be able to break down her walls or end up hurting her than she already is. Chapter Twenty one

APRIL POV

I walk into Enriques's mansion. I miss my cozy house. I don't even know what am doing back here. Screw him and his stupid threat.

I groan aloud in frustration. He had been gone all day and he wasn't back.

"So much for keeping me safe". I mutter sullenly.

He did seem a bit off in the morning before he left. He looked like he was sad. Was I giving him a hard time or did I do something?

"Ugh, why do I even care."

My phone rings and it's so unexpected I jerked in surprise. Gosh, who was trying to give me a heart attack. It was Katherine. I shake my head, taking a deep breath before answering.

Her voice shrills in my ear and I flinch pulling the phone back then placing it on my ear and catching her next few words.

".... standing outside your house all day and all for what? Nothing!!!"

She was pissed.

"Am sorry Katherine. I forgot to call you, but you should stop screaming into the phone "

I see her rolling her eyes in my head.
