Sung-hoon looked at Jae-wook his eyes studying him finding the situation they were currently in amusing. He had never seen Jae-wook look so uncomfortable and taken aback. His face had turned into a soft shade of pink that could easily get unnoticed.
Suddenly Sung-hoon busts into laughter taking jae-wook by surprise. He laughed so much he lay back on the bed whizzing as if the whole situation was the most hilarious thing he had ever witnessed.
"You should see your face." He spoke in between laughter as he held his stomachs while trying to imitate Jae-wook's face.
Jae-wook scrawled at him as he crossed his arms on his chest.
"very funny." Jae-wook deadpanned his tone slightly serious.
"I should take a picture. " Sung-hoon stated as his sluggish started searching for his phone.
"That's if you will remember anything. " Jae-wook chastised.
"don't be so serious all the time Mark said you are kind of boring." He bust into laughter once again.
"Mark?!?" Jae-wook asked. He didn't think they had met.
He wanted to ask what was the correlation with Sung-hoon but he didn't think he would get any answers with Sung-hoon's state.
"why don't you shower first then rest." Jae-wook stated. He had been so lost in his thoughts that he didn't notice the silence that had set in and Sung-hoon's drowsy state
He walked over to the bed and softly tapped him making Sunghoon grunt slightly in protest as Jae-wook held his arms and forced him up from the bed.
Sung-hoon soft grunts of protest proceeded as Jae-wook slowly removed his shirt and started unbuttoning his trousers while trying his level best not to be suggestive. He avoided Sung-hoon's eyes as he watched him undress him a smile lacing his lips.
"Can you remove the boxer." Jae-wook asked his voice holding back his shyness as he bent down and took Sung-hoon clothes that were discarded on the floor. He placed them in a bag he saw Sung-hoon place his dirty clothes the day before. He walked into the bathroom to turned on the hot water as well as some cold water to make it warm before going back to the room. He turned back to find Sung-hoon completely naked looking at him like a lost puppy.
Jae-wook tried his best to look away as he grabbed Sung-hoon's hand and led him to the tab where the water had already filled in.
"It's not like you haven't seen me naked before ." Sung-hoon laughed as he lay back in the tab letting the warm water calm him down.
Jae-wook didn't say anything as he stood up.
"where are you going?" Sung-hoon asked sitting up.
"Why don't you finish up first then...."
"join me." Sung-hoon suddenly chipped in. Jae-wook looked at him before letting out a sigh as he started walking towards the door but Sung-hoon held him by his hand stopping him.
"I don't want to be alone." Sung-hoon's voice held so much vulnerability it made him halt and turn to look at him.
"I will be right outside the door."
"Please." He pleaded once again his voice breaking slightly.
Jae-wook seeing there is no other option and his heart swayed by Sung-hoon's gentle tone. He started undressing and got into the tab along with him. Sung-hoon's face flushed bright as he looked at Jae-wook.
"Have you ever been in a relationship?" Sung-hoon suddenly asked in the silence as he played with the floating bubbles. His eyes holding the innocence of a small child as his bright smile mesmerised Jae-wook.
"once." Jae-wook answered his voice a bit distant as he answered. This was a topic he was wary of speaking on even with se-hee.
"Was it good?" He asked the smile still on his face.
"mmm...." Jae-wook hummed.
"Why did it end?" He asked still lost in a trance playing with the bubbles.
Jae-wook stayed silent at this question Sung-hoon looked up at him noticing that. He saw Jae-wook's eyes holding pain and hatred that he couldn't explain.
"I never had a relationship before. Well I did but I wasn't really into it she broke it off." He stated lying back in the tab his eyes looking at the ceiling as he spoke. "I can't blame her I was only half there I didn't really want to be in a relationship maybe I just felt lonely."
Jae-wook listened attentively as he spoke making sure not to interrupt him.
"I can't even believe I told you I liked you as if you will even accept such absurd words I was the one who told you it was only sex and here I am pouring my heart out that I like you. Honestly I am not planning on anything related with a relationship in it you were just there when I was falling apart maybe that's why my heart moved slightly. " his voice broke slightly as a laugh filled the bathroom.
"like the Raven would consider going out with someone as broke and pathetic as me."
" you aren't pathetic." Jae-wook said causing Sung-hoon to pier down at him slightly he saw the tears threatening to fall from Sung-hoon's eyes and he felt his heart tighten.
"I am" He said his voice breaking again as years fell down his eyes. He was looking directly in Jae-wook's eyes as he said it.
"My mother didn't want me. My grandmother died from cancer I couldn't take care of her. I wanted to save her but I couldn't. I went to live with my mother...." He paused and started laughing. " she is a whore her boyfriend dis the most disgusting thing to me. He bit me up every single day it was like their kink. She would lay wasted in the couch laughing and joining in. Sometimes when he wasn't satisfied with her he would come..." Sung-hoon's lips started quivering as he sat up on the tab tears cascading down his cheeks. "I would work like a dog I would clear her debt yet she would get more. I envied you at school you had everything. Friends family. I didn't even know where to run to when her boyfriend came or when her collectors came to beat me up I didnt know my father so where would I run. Why am I even telling you this it's no like you care."
"I do care." Jae-wook held his hand softly squeezing it.
"the first time we slept together was the most emotion to have ever felt from anyone. I am sorry if I made it awkward for you with my confession. I don't want to push you away." He said suddenly grabbing Jae-wook's hands in a tight grip as his body shivered.
Everything he stated he didn't know if he would have openly admitted to anyone let alone himself.
Suddenly he pushed himself towards Jae-wook forcing him to lean back on the tab as he hovered over him. Without a moment of hesitation he locked his lips with his. Every emotion he felt at that moment. He let himself be vulnerable as he relayed everything he felt for Jae-wook in that kiss. Hatred, anger , denial, fear, pain and longing. He longed to hold someone in his arms someone who understood his pain.
Jae-wook had been there every step every time he was down he would appear like he was his Knight in shining armour.
It was the first time in his life he let himself be vulnerable he left himself be open to the prospect of disappointment and fear. His heart beat faster as he bit Jae-wook lips as his tongue traced every bit of Jae-wook's mouth.
Jae-wook let him although it wasn't part of his policies to engage with someone in that state he opted to stay still as long as it was only a kiss.
Sung-hoon came on top of Jae-wook his legs kneeling on either sides of his legs in the large tab as he continued downing in the emotions he was feeling.
Tears cascaded down his cheeks as he finally stopped and rested his forehead on Jae-wook's while breathing heavily.
"f*ck!" He cussed as he came to the realisation at just how much emotion Jae-wook evoked from him.
He slowly got away from him and sat at the other end his eyes averting Jae-wook's gaze. He didn't know what he was thinking about he hadn't said a single word.
"You are a good kisser." Jae-wook suddenly stated lightning the mood as Sung-hoon bust into laughter.
He slowly got up from the tab and grabbed a robe covering himself up before taking another for Sung-hoon. He thanked him as he helped him wear the robe.
They went back into the room. Jae-wook helped him searching for something he would wear. After making sure he was comfortable he changed into his pyjamas.
Jae-wook was seated on the bed staring at a sleeping Sung-hoon as he contemplated what had just happened.
Sung-hoon had confessed to him. He had told him so much things about himself it made his heart ache at the thought of him going through all that alone. He felt an urge to protect him to make him feel reassured.
He didn't know however if the emotions Sung-hoon felt for him he could reciprocate.
He had been in that situation before but before he could do anything about it was too late.
Was there really potential for something else?
