Chapter 1

Year 2070.

  I was sitting on my rocking chair with the cross pendant in my hand and thinking about what how life would have been if I didn't marry Fionn, if he didn't die and what would it be like if I didn't meet him at all. My thoughts were soon interrupted by Bella-rose.

  "Grandma! Why are you sitting all alone here?" said Bella-rose. I replied with a small smile. She sat on the floor beside me and put her hands on top of mine and smiled, a gesture that always calms me down. "I hope you didn't forget about the story of your hero, the one you were supposed to tell me the day I turn eighteen. So, what are we waiting for?"

  "You didn't forget, now did you?" I said. "Of course, not!" she replied with a wide smile on her face. With the cross pendant stil in my hand, I started the first chapter of our incomplete love story.
