Sealing the deal

"If you dont mind me asking, what is it that you people do anyways?", the woman asks Geo with a smirk.

Geo stares at the woman in front of him. She was nothing short of gorgeous.

The woman's long silver hair drop down to her waist, covering the back part of the black dress she is wearing. Her light brown skin exquisitely contrasting the color of her hair and dress. And her big red eyes glimmering with interest as she examined the man that approached her.

Geo then returns the smirk to her.

"Oh? I always thought that everyone down here knows what we do by now.", he replies, grabbing the last wine glass from one of the trays a waiter was carrying and putting what seemed like a single bronze coin in the waiter's jacket pocket.

The diners and restaurants around had tables outside, all currently full. Several waiters go back and forth in and out of the restaurants, delivering food to the customers at an impressive rate.

"One more for me and my lovely friend here", Geo tells the waiter, taking a sip from the glass.

The waiter smiles at him and nods, then heads back inside the restaurant.

"I meant, what's the difference between Daywalkers and the other soldiers within the coven?", the woman asks.

Then she leans closer to Geo, "Is it true?"

Geo's forehead that wrinkles, "What is true?", he asks with a coy look on his face.

"Well, you know,", the woman blinks a few times then clasps her hands together, bending and intertwining them a few times. In the process, she creates a few...interesting...hand signs.

Geo fails to prevent a laugh escaping his mouth and spills a few drops of wine out of it.

The woman chuckles then looks at him with a grin on her face, "What?! That's exactly what everyone thinks of you guys."

Geo laughs for a bit.

"There...may be some truth to that, but it's nowhere near as ridiculous as what you think."

"Oh, ridiculous now is it?", the woman says leaning closer to him. By now she had put her empty wine glass on one of the trays a waiter was carrying back into the restaurant. She now has her arms crossed underneath her breasts, making them both stand out even more.

"So how does it work then?"

Geo takes another sip from the glass, "Well for starters, you need a light source obviously."

"Right, since shadows can't exist in a room that's completely dark. But I already know that much", the woman replies, giving a small pout.

"So instead, how about you show me how it's done properly?", she says to him, a slight hint of seductiveness contained in her voice.

"I would but...I don't wanna", Geo takes a sip from the glass.

The woman's forehead furrows at his statement.

"And why is that exactly?", she asks. "Is it too dark down here?", she asks in a teasing manner.

"Nah, it's got nothing to do with the lighting at all", Geo shakes his head. "If anything you being here would make it easier for me to bend the shadows to my will.", he continues with a sly grin.

"Oh is that so? And why is that exactly?", the woman leans forward a bit, the gesture making a few strands of hair fall on her face.

"Because you are more than enough to brighten up this place filled with darkness."

.....

Silence.

The sounds of a thousand palms hitting foreheads resounded in each of the vampire's heads that are listening to the conversation.

'Did he---Did he just really say that?!'

'Oh it's so over for him!'

'Screw this, someone tie him up and throw him back into the sunlight'

The men listening to the conversation have become so invested that subconsciously, they started rooting for Geo to succeed talking to the woman.

However, it would seem that Geo's recent statements have made most of these men upset, all groaning inwardly as they felt like fools for having hope for the guy.

But out of all the men that have become disappointed, one stood out the most.

'HUHHHHHH?! THAT WAS THE LAMEST SHIT EVER!!! GEO WHAT THE FUCK?'

Ino stood there, watching his friend talk to the woman. His mouth was wide open, and his eyes seemed like it was about to jump out of its sockets.

Ino was crying and slowly, but surely, dying inside.

Until...

Something happened...

All the men were flabbergasted as they witnessed something that they thought was impossible.

"HAHAHAHAHA"

The woman right next to Geo was laughing hard.

She had her right hand over her mouth, trying to prevent more laughter from escaping it, but failed horribly.

"Wow! Now that is something I have never heard before!", she exclaims.

Them she goes back to laughing, Geo just stood there beside her with a grin on his face.

"Sorry about that,", he chuckles, "too cheesy right?"

The woman takes a few deep breaths. "Yeah, it kinda is. Sorry", she holds up a peace sign to him with a wide smile.

"No it's fine. I just haven't had some time to practice you know?", Geo rubs the back of his head, his face showing a bit of red.

"It's okay really. I get that. I mean, you do spend most of your time up there, doing whatever it is your told to.", the woman says.

"But it wasn't even bad at all. You just caught me off guard honestly", she continues.

"I actually think it was kind of cute."

Once again, silence filled the air for a few moments.

Geo stares at the woman for a while with a smile on his face.

Everyone listening now signed heavily to themselves. Relief showing on their faces.

For a short while.

"But...", the woman puts up her right index finger up.

"...if what you're saying is true, then I wanna see it"

Geo shrugs. "Deal."

The woman smiles wildly.

For a while.

"But...", Geo says, imitating the woman.

"....what exactly do I get out of it?", he asks, obvious flirting within his voice.

The woman stares at him with interest, biting her lower lip now.

Silence once again consumed the entire area.

The hearts of the other vampires listening now beating wildly, curious as to what might happen between the two.

Then, after a few seconds of quietness...

"Visceria", the woman says, extending her right hand to a hand shake.

Geo extends his right hand too, going for the hand shake.

But then...

As their hands were about to touch, Geo pulls his hand back.

Everyone is shocked at his action, but the one who shows this the most, is the woman named Visceria herself. Her eyes opened widely and every ounce of joy she had just a few moments ago, seemed to have exploded into nothingness.

'What is going on?!'

'Dude, what is he doing?!'

'Just shake her damn hand!'

Everyone looks at the scene with pure confusion, chaos erupting within them as they failed to comprehend the situation.

Everyone...but one person.

Ino watches the scene shaking his head. Not in confusion however. He now had his eyes closed, and a small smile appeared on his face.

'You son of a bitch...'

Geo pulls his hand up towards his face, just below his chin. His arm now bent upwards from his elbow, his palm facing downwards, all fingers pressed together.

Visceria tilts her head to the left slightly, not knowing what his intention is.

Then a sly grin appears on Geo's face.

"Come to me...", he says extremely quietly, to the point that even with enhanced hearing, none of the vampires could make out what was just said.

"...Python."

After mentioning that word, the shadow of the arm that Geo was holding up, suddenly leaped out to form a long slithering creature of pure darkness.

The creature had no limbs but extended very long. Its body was as wide as the shadow it used to be.

Now, it looked like Geo's shadow was missing a right arm.

"What the-", before the Visceria can finish her sentence, the creature latched itself on her right arm. Coiling swifty but gracefully around it.

And with that, the creature pulls with a massive force, making Visceria twirl towards Geo three times.

The creature then immediately vanished into thin air quickly, too fast for even the vampires to see it's form. The only thing visible to their eyes was a long dark blur.

Geo catches the woman, his right hand on her left waist. A small grin appeared on his face.

"That's how we do it properly."

The two look at each other's eyes deeply.

Geo's eyes reflected with playfulness.

Meanwhile, a hint of desire gleams from within Visceria's. Her previous looks of interest towards him, now slowly transitioning into something more.

A small, but growing look of desire exited her eyes.

"Are you satisfied now?", Geo asks teasingly.

Visceria takes a few short breaths. Her face now flushed with deep red.

After calming herself a bit, she finally speaks up.

"Not yet.", she replied to him, lust spread throughout her face.

'He actually did it.'
