I sighed as I walked along the halls, my mind drifting to Samuel. I felt something for him, but I didn't know if it was love or just attraction. He's the most handsome man I've ever seen, but he abused me. He chained me, starved me, threw me in the dungeon for crying out loud. How am I supposed to love a man who put me through so much pain? This question pestered me every night and I never had the answer. I could feel the sparks when I had kissed him on the cheek yesterday. I smiled a little, now if only I had kissed him on the lips.
