Palace's Responsibility

"Oh...by the way I forgot to ask you where have you been? I was looking everywhere for you"asked Aaron.

"I am sorry for making you worried..I went to your mother's hometown to meet your grandmother"said Lady Nora.

It was the decision made by the Cheif General who was also a very close friend of Aaron's maternal uncle, to keep the king's only living family member out of all this mess. He made the young king realized the safety of his grandmother after all the bloodshed. Since then his grandmother lives in her hometown with few guards always in disguise to look after her.

"How is she now? Is she taking care of her health? Are guards performing their duties well?asked Aaron.

"Yes..yes she is fine and enjoying good health and she is in good and trustful hands. Don't worry dear"said lady Nora.

After giving a thought to it lady Nora asked Aaron to take queen along with him to pay a visit to his grandmother afterall it's been six months since last he saw her.

"Your grandmother will be very delighted to see you and you must also introduce your wife...I meant Her highness to your grandmother"said lady Nora.

"Yes...I was also thinking to pay her a visit with my queen. Very well then we will leave after two days for my grandma's place. Lady Nora please make preparations for our trip. Till then I have some royal affairs to solve. See you at lunch"said Aaron.

As Aaron was away from his royal duties for a whole week as he was busy immersing himself for the upcoming war and then later with his marriage.

He had alot of pending work and he had to complete them before his upcoming trip.

He went straight to the throne room where all his ministers and his army cheif were already present to discuss the matters.

Meanwhile, Lady Nora and Amber were still sitting in the living area having their morning tea.

"So..how's the tea,my queen"asked lady Nora.

"It's good"said Amber very politely.

"I am glad to hear that"said lady Nora.

"My queen if you like...I can give you a palace's tour"asked lady Nora.

"Sure...I would love to see it"said Amber with a big smile on her face as she was quite bored sitting in one place for a quite long time.

"Very well then...lets finish our tea then we can take a tour around the palace. I am sure you will love it. Oh yes...the king asked me.....how can I forget that?"said lady Nora.

"May I ask what it is?"asked Amber.

"The king asked to tell you that from tomorrow onwards you will be the incharge...I meant to say head of the palace and you are bound to take care of everything inside the palace's boundry. It means if you don't like anything you can asked them to change it"said lady Nora as she felt relieved that now someone is there to look after and take care of palace's matters.
