"Did you say anything?" Having gotten off the limousine and settled down in his wheelchair, he heard Su Tong mumbling to himself.
"Nothing really... Just in awe and admiring such a beautiful site in front of me..." he walked behind his father's wheelchair, held the handles, and pushed it forward, while Su Mao alighted too.
She was surprised at the massiveness of the entire compound and mansion. This was what was called extravagance.
She held Su Tang's hand as they tagged behind Su Tong and Mo Han.
"You don't need to push it... I can manage it just by myself.." Mo Han lightly smirked seeing the boy's conscious demeanor, he could tell he was way more cultured than the boys of his age.
"Father, do you think that I might manhandle you? Or you don't trust my actions." He halted as he whispered past his ear softly in an audible voice only the two of them could hear.
Mo Han who was more cunning already understood his hidden word battle.
"Since when did a father and son have miscommunication?" He smirked and let him push forward as they got inside the mansion.
They could already hear cheerful laughter that was echoing and you could tell it was a joyful occasion and these people must be celebrating something.
But once they stepped into the living room, the entire living room went silent as they turned their necks around to face the people who were walking inside while the bodyguards pulled their suitcases from behind.
There were so many people and everyone raised their eyebrows at the person who was coming in what was more surprising is that the three kids resembled Mo Han when he was younger.
Old Master Mo stood up as he walked forward with his walking stick and approached the people who had now stopped in their steps.
"Grandson.. who.. who.. who are these?" With his shaking voice, he pointed toward the three kids while his wrinkled face gleamed. He could see their resemblance to Mo Han.
"Grandpa.. meet your great-grandchildren.." he smiled gently at the old man.
The Old Master was now in his eighties, he wasn't looking that old, he was still strong and energetic, and he was wearing the Chinese handmade suit which was brown and fitted him well for his age.
"Greet your Great-grandfather.." He instructed the three kids who were scrutinizing the entire place curiously.
"Impudent! Where did you get these bastards from to greet your grandfather... What kind of a show is this that you are trying to create here Mo Han?" a woman rebuked coldly as she stood up and walked around the couch before moving forward to where they were standing.
Su Ting got a lollipop and peeled off the cover before placing it into her mouth naughtily, one hand was in her shorts pocket while the other played with a chain in her hand lazily.
She looked through her sunglasses lazily, "Old granny, what did you just call us? I didn't hear it.. say it again..." She was grinning yes, but that smile was raw and freezing, it was devilish and sinful.
"Hahaha, hahaha..." the entire room erupted in echoes of waves of laughter.
"Old granny, this is the last time I'm asking you, what did you just call us?" Su Ting was notorious and the most hard-to-please girl, even her mother would get stumped sometimes.
The woman who was earlier shouting was now quacking as she back-stepped, she could feel the intensive murderous aura that was pressing her down like a heavy mountain.
Su Ting motioned her fingers secretly and the woman went down to her knees suddenly like she had lost her balance.
"Plop!" She knelt much to everyone's surprise and shock. What was happening? Did she trip herself accidentally? Did she suddenly feel sorry?
"Woow.. father... I think your family has a special way of welcoming us... I like it very much." Her voice was loud enough to ring in everyone's ears, it was chilling and nothing to wish for.
"Yes, we do.. each of them will give you a heavy red packet." He smiled back as he responded, Su Ting knew that was enough and turned around to face her great-grandfather, she didn't want to expose herself as they had just arrived.
"Long live Great-grandfather, may you live to see your great-great-grandchildren." Su Ting bowed her head as she respectfully greeted him, her Chinese wasn't as good as the locals but still, she managed to communicate fluently.
"Good.. good.. good.." the Old Master was so happy and agitated that he didn't know how to express it, so he placed his hand on her head blessing her.
"I hadn't prepared any gifts, my dear, how about you give me time to prepare a red packet for you all." The old man was smiling from ear to ear happily, you could feel the dote overflowing out of his words.
"Grandpa, don't worry, the most important thing is you are healthy, other things can wait." She patted his hands gently, she could feel a deep connection with him and she felt so free with him.
