Chapter 13 - A New Life Together 1

Alex found a one-bedroom apartment to rent. It was big enough for him to be single.

His living room served as both his workplace and dining room.

Alex was currently suffering from a headache as a result of his belief that Xela had appeared out of nowhere.

It just goes to show how powerful the Desire Games are.

"What the hell was Xela doing here?" Is she interested in me? Or maybe I'm the one who likes her. He was, nonetheless, a man of the game. But why is he suddenly a woman?" Alex was attempting to make sense of what was going on.

"Ah! That's difficult to think about," Alex grumbled.

"Sliver? "I need assistance here," Xela exclaimed from the Comfort room.

Alex can hear it clearly because the apartment is small.

"Oh my F*ck! "I had forgotten." Alex dashes out to collect some clothing and his spar towel.

"Thank you, Silver," Xela responded, smiling.

"You're welcome, I'll cook some food for us," Alex says as he rushes to the kitchen to see what he can cook.

Xela was overjoyed when he saw Alex offer to cook for him. As he recalls his late wife, she prepares supper for him.

"This is an issue; the more I engage with Silver, the more I remember my late wife," Xela admitted.

He appears to accept that he is now a lady. But living with someone he could rely on, like Silver, was fine.

When Alex opens the refrigerator, It was deserted. He notices some eggs and bread.

"I need to go grocery shopping tomorrow." "I need to ask Xela where she lives so she can return home." Alex thought to himself.

"It'll be strange for her to live in a man's home." But it doesn't bother me. It's nice to have someone to speak about the games with." Alex thought to himself.

Xela sat on the couch, facing Alex, who was busy making scrambled eggs.

"What are you preparing, Silver?" Xela inquired.

Alex had noticed that Xela was calling him Silver at this point, so he decided to inquire as to why.

"In Desire Games, you keep calling me by my public name. "You can call me Alex," Alex explained.

"Well, it'll be strange. Because my name is also Alex. "I just flip it backward," Xela explained.

"Oh, that's why. Are you okay with me calling you Xela instead of Alex?" Alex inquired for clarification.

"Of certainly," Xela replied.

Alex has already finished boiling the scrambled eggs and is in the process of creating the egg sandwich after a few minutes.

"Hmmm, thank you; it tastes delicious," Xela remarked.

"Haha, that's my expertise." "Alex's younger brother's favorite," he explained.

"Do you have any younger brothers?" "I wish I had a hard sibling, but I'm a single child." Xela's response

"I am, indeed, the eldest. "How did it feel to be an alone child?" Alex inquired.

"Well, it was fine. My parents adored me. They found me later in life. I wish I had brothers and sisters. When they both died. "I was by myself," Xela stated.

"Oh, I'm sorry," Alex apologized.

"It's all right, I was young when my parents died." At the time, I was 19 years old. I was going through a rough patch in my life. Then, when I was 21, I met my late wife. "Unfortunately, she abandoned me," Xela replied, a sad expression on her face.

Alex was taken aback. He was aware of Xela's tragic life tale. He doesn't know what to say, so he remains silent.

"Then you entered my life. You're not going to abandon me, are you?" With a solemn expression on her face, Xela inquired of Alex.

"It's worth noting that I have no plans to die just yet." "I still didn't have any children of my own," Alex explained.

"That's good. You promised me that you needed to live. I don't want anyone to die because of me." Xela stated.

Alex simply smiles and shakes his head. But he notices that Xela's comments are peculiar, and they sound natural, but they are not meant to be said to a stranger like him.

They did, however, bond a little during the game. But Alex has no idea where the Xela trust came from.

Xela is currently watching a rerun of the Desire Games broadcast.

Alex, on the other hand, was checking his texts and email. To see if he can find some part-time work.

He requires cash flow. He doesn't want anyone to know he's a gamer.

He was taken aback when he noticed Xela crying. He was intrigued by the movie or video that made Xela cry.

It was him carrying Xela that he chose in the video.

"Oh, no, I don't look like a movie star." I appear to be carrying a princess or the female lead. It was carrying a fully developed man, as expected. Even though he is not a she. "It still sounds off," Alex thought to himself.

Xela became aware that Alex was standing next to him.

"Many thanks, Silver." "It would die if you didn't carry me around," Xela stated as he hugged Alex.

"Soft," Alex exclaimed aloud.

"What?" Xela inquires as to why she did not hear it.

"Don't worry about it," Alex remarked with a smile.

Alex returns Xela's hug and extends his stay. Alex notices Xela falling asleep after a time.

"Oh, my talent is passive. It made her feel really at ease, and she promptly fell asleep." Alex was taken aback.

He's not sure if that was a good idea or not for the time being. He needs to improve his knowledge of his abilities.
