Embracing you in his darkness, no one to take you home.
The more you fight against him, the harder he holds on;
He's determined to make sure your spirit is gone.
You can't break free of the chains that bind you tight;
Your sense of optimism begins to fade into the night.
No matter how hard you try, no matter how far you go;
Mr. Despair will be there to make sure your sorrow grows.
So when he comes knocking on your door, just remember one thing:
His darkness may linger, but it doesn't have to win!
